People Management Association of the Philippines Vision The Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) is a national youth organization guided by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), that commits itself to develop and empower its members to enable them to grow from the academic to professional level as future people managers of society. Mission     



   

To prepare the members to become future People Managers To build harmonious relationship and camaraderie among the members To provide training and development To expose members to socially relevant issues To provide avenue for collaboration and partnerships on issues related to people management Objectives To serve as a center for cooperation, collaboration and exchange of information among young college students and graduates on matters relating to People Management thereby assisting in the development of a nucleus of truly professional people managers. To prepare members in developing and attaining professional competence as they enter the business world through their acquaintance with the prospect and future in People Management To assist in the development of a strong and effective linkage between the academe and the business world To foster the highest standard of personal integrity by adhering to the code of ethics of JPMAP and PMAP To cultivate among members a strong sense of social responsibility in order to contribute effectively to the building of a humane world where everyone has equal opportunities to improve his quality of life The JPMAP Logo The adoption of the People of Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) triangular logo symbolizes the supervision of PMAP to the Association. The addition of the word “JUNIOR” below signifies the distinction of the Association as the youth organization of PMAP. The Five Flames of the Torch represent Integrity, Respect, Interdependence, Social Responsibility and Excellence.

Brief History of JPMAP October 1996, JPMAP was established by Personnel Management Association of the Philippines(PMAP) April 1997, the 1st batch of the JPMAP Board of Directors was elected 1997, the JPMAP logo was conceived

    



1998, JPMAP expanded its membership to various universities and colleges in Metro Manila 05 September 1999, 1st JPMAP General Membership Meeting (GMM) was held at Abbott Lopez Hall of San Beda College. The GMM is being held once every school year. 17 September 2000, JPMAP Constitution and By-Laws was ratified during the 2nd JPMAP General Membership Meeting (GMM) at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila May 2000, JPMAP Integrated Calendar of Plans and Programs was launched 04-06 April 2001, 1st JPMAP National Conference with the theme, “The JPMAP Revolution: An Empowerment of the Youth as Future Leaders” held at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila was institutionalized by PMAP Director in Charge Mr. Roberto M. Policarpio, AFPM. 23-24 February 2008, 1st National Youth Summit with the theme, “Youth as the Torch of Tomorrow: Igniting What’s Within” held at Cristina Villas Mountain Resort, Antipolo City
