Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate is a very high foaming surfactant used in a wide range of formulations. Rhodacal® products are broadly used for high forming products such as bubble baths, in low active formulations such as liquid hand soap. They are also recomended when special acidic stability is required, such as in personal cleansers featuring alphaand beta-hydroxy acids. Rhodacal® surfactants are milder than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and are extensively used in sulfate-free and dioxane free formulations. Rhodacal® A-246 develops some viscosity, Rhodacal® LSS develops high viscosity, and Rhodacal® LSS 92M/RP develops very high viscosity.

PROPERTIES & APPLICATIONS
Effective conditioners for skin and hair, the Mackpro® Plus series consists of quaternary functional lipids covalently bound to polypeptides from the hydrolysis of protein. Being strongly cationic and more lipophillic than hydrolyzed protein, these conditioners have a greater affinity for hair and skin. This series acts as film formers to provide moisturizing and antistatic effects, strengthen damaged hair, add shine and improve combability. They are also anionic compatible and can be used in shampoos as well as conditioners and lotions.
Unique quaternary compounds in which lipids that are similar to natural sebum are chemically grafted to keratin or silk proteins. They are highly substantive to hair and provide conditioning without an “oily” feel.
