6-Port Base Station Antennas with Internal RET Global Communication CommScope’s new RVV65 series 6-port multi-band antennas feature the very latest evolution in our ultrawide-band antenna technology with superior performance along with additional capability to support even wider bands. The RVV65 series products support the major air-interface standards worldwide – for low and high band applications. The electrical downtilt associated with each pair of RF ports can be adjusted independently via the fully integrated internal RET system. These antennas can also support 4x4/4x2 MIMO schemes on high band and features the new 4.3-10 RF connector.
Product Highlights • RVV series has three independent arrays – One low band supporting 694-960 MHz and two
separate high bands in an optimized “side-by side” configuration, both supporting 1695-2690 MHz. • Compact antenna solution – The antenna width has been minimized to 301mm to reduce visual
impact and wind load. • Excellent RF pattern control – over the full operating band and tilt range for desired coverage and
interference containment. • Provides a “future-ready” antenna solution – for example, enables flexibility to add or upgrade
sectors to LTE 700 MHz or 800 MHz capability on low band and add / upgrade to LTE 1800, LTE 2300 or LTE 2600 on high band. • MIMO 4x4/4x2 support for high band applications. The radiating arrays are separated horizontally
for best MIMO performance and highest gain. LTE Advance Carrier Aggregation ready. • Fully independent RET control associated with each pair of RF ports via fully integrated internal
RET system (AISG 2.0). Antenna has one pair of AISG input and output ports located on the bottom end cap with the RET connected internally in “Cascaded Single RET” (S-RET) configuration.
• 4.3-10 RF connectors are supplied as standard – more compact connector, enables improved
accessibility to RF connections at base of antenna. Please contact CommScope if 7-16 DIN connector option is required. • Operator sharing of antenna is possible – lowering site costs by sharing the same antenna and
the possibility to have independent control of remote electrical tilt (additional AISG RET ports may be required for some applications – please contact CommScope to discuss possible options).
