DESIGN, C AP  APACITIES ACITIES AND  AND DIMENSIONS APPLICATIONS Ribbon blenders are ideal for mixing most so lids and lightt pastes. The action of the inner and outer ribbons provide ef ficient and economical blending. Ribbon Blenders are used in all process industries including: • animal feed • bake mixes • catalysts • ceramics • cosmecs • ferlizers • food • instant drink mix • nutraceucals • pharmaceucals • pigments • plasc powders • prill • protein powders • resins • spices • sugar blends • vitamins

Fully welded and ground ribbons and support arms are clean and ef ficient.

Standard Design Features ●

Working capacities from 1 to 515 cubic fo ot standard. Up to 1,50 1,500 0 cubic foot c apacity available. available.



Sanitary design improves discharge and makes cleaning easier and more thorough.



Slide-gate discharge valve with pneumatic actuator (lab models IMB-1 and 2.5 are manual).



304 stainless steel contact surfaces, packing gland, support structure and chain guard.



 All internal and external welds are radiused, radiused, ground smooth, flush and pit free. 200 grit polish inside and out.



Packing gland housing is split for easy maintenance.



Provision for gas or liquid purge.



Sealed pillow block roller bearings.



Heavy-duty gear reducer and chain drive.



Fully welded 304 stainless steel agitator and shaft with flanged



ends for easy removal.

1-, 2- or 3-piece hinged covers with removable grates. Limit switches* provided for each cover or grate section. *All limit switches must be wired into the motor control circuit to disconnect power when the grates are removed or the covers opened depending on the blender design.
