Description • Placed on the downhole end of the casing string, it guides the casing inside the well during running and prevents it hitting formations, especially in deviated or horizontal wells. • It keeps damage from happening on the pin that belongs to the casing lower pipe during running, what would difficult the later pass of other tools. • There are different models: Cement nose: It ensures a soft running and it is easily drillable. Notched: It is designed in order to rotate softly in case of finding obstructions in the hole. Beveled: It allows a large sludge flowing in the event of obstructions in the well. Downjet: Besides the cement face, it has some lateral orifices that allows an extensive flowing whenever the string is close to the bottom of the well. It also increases the turbulences adjacent to the show, favoring the cementing operation in that way. -

Description A liner is a specific casing type whose main characteristic is not to extend from the well surface to its bottom, but instead it departs from an internal point towards the bottom of the well. The practical way of setting the liner (or lost pipe) is by means of a tool called liner hanger. The liner hanger has some steel jaws that opens and rests strongly against the casing where they have been entered, therefore, bearing the whole lost pipe weight. There are mechanical or hydraulic type hangers, based on the principle by means of which its jaws are operated. Pictures / Drawings

Description It is a device that is entered into the tubing hanger head Its outer face may be straight or tapered. Both in its lower and upper faces it has the same thread type than the tubing that will be run into the wellbore. The tubing string is threaded onto the hanger lower face, while the “landing joints” are threaded onto its upper face. Tubing hangers may be used in wells with a single string or those with double completions. In the case of double hangers, they are formed by two independent semicircles. The tubular string and the landing joints are threaded to each one of them. Both pieces are entered jointly into the tubing hanger head, forming the complete cylinder. Pictures / Drawings

Description • The cementing basket protects weak formations from the pressure exerted by the cement column at the annular space. • Generally, it is used in multiple stage cementing operations or whenever cement is injected through the annular space from the surface. • There are two types of baskets: closed and of open top. • Closed baskets are basically centralizers with fine metal slats overlapped inside that allows the cement slurry to flow upwards but not downwards. • Petals may be welded or not. • Open top baskets do not center the casing and do not allow reciprocating it during cementing. • Casing baskets’ installation is similar to the centralizer one, that is to say, fastening upset connections, coupling connections or by means of the use of stop collars. Description • They are devices used for keeping the tubular column in the center of the wellbore centered during a given section. • Generally they are used in order to help ensure efficient placement of a uniform cement sheath around the string during cementing. • There are several types of centralizers. Among them we can mention: o of flexible or semi rigid spring bows o without rigid spring bows o straight, spiral or arch shaped spring bows o welded or non welded o for casing, for tubing, or for slim holes. • At the present, an active centralizer has been designed and it is mainly used in extended or horizontal wells. Its operation principle is based on running them closed along with the tubular string, thus, by occupying less annular space it reduces friction forces. Then, it is opened or activated and by expanding its blades takes the shape of a conventional centralizer. Pictures / Drawings

Description • They are devices used in order to improve pipe-cement-formation adherence. • They are supplied with long and flexible steel “hairs” on the external part that “scratch” the well wall, eliminating cake. • Some models have very short steel “hairs” on their internal section so as to remove scales and varnish from the casing outer face. • Basically, there are two types of scratchers: rotating and reciprocating. • Rotating scratchers are installed by means of clamps longitudinally to the casing and their removal action is exerted by the tubular string rotation. • Reciprocating scratchers are installed similarly to a centralizer and their cake removing effect is through tubing ascending and descending movements. Description • A rubber plug used to separate the cement slurry from other fluids, reducing contamination and maintaining predictable slurry performance. Two types of cementing plug are typically used on a cementing operation. The bottom plug is launched ahead of the cement slurry to minimize contamination by fluids inside the casing prior to cementing. A diaphragm in the plug body ruptures to allow the cement slurry to pass through after the plug reaches the landing collar. The top plug has a solid body that provides positive indication of contact with the landing collar and bottom plug through an increase in pump pressure. Plugs isolate cement slurry from mud Due to string setting reasons, under certain circumstances, it is necessary to generate a cement ring of a substantial length posing the risk of fracturing formations. Description Attached to the downhole end of a casing string, it fulfills the same “guiding” purpose than the Guide Shoe. It includes an integral check valve that allows fluid circulation from the annulus into the casing into the hole. This causes that, during the string cementing operation, the cement slurry that enters the annular space does not flow reversely into the casing. This valve does not allow filling the string with sludge during running; therefore, it shall be necessary to perform this operation from outside in order to prevent the collapse of pipes. There are different kinds of float shows, where the valve and the spring are replaced by one or two balls that performs the same retention function. Pictures / Drawings

Description • Accessories basically used for isolating areas of interest. • They are “gaskets” built with an elastomer that suffers an expansion by means a proper system. • If the packer has been threaded onto a casing, this elastic element engages itself against the sidewall of the well, isolating the annular space between the casing and the well. These are the ECP (External Casing Packers). • If the packer was threaded to a tubing, the sealing element engages against the casing, isolating the tubing / casing annular space. • The packers may also be run through the interior of the tubing. • The principle by which a packer operates may be: mechanical: - by means of the weight of the tubular string. - by means of the rotation of the tubular string. - by means of the detonation of a blasting charge. hydraulic: by means of the pressure of a fluid. inflatable: by means of filling with a fluid. • In its turn, the packers may be: permanent once run (generally by means of pipes or wireline) and fastened (by rotation or blasting), they are not removed from the wellbore; that is to say, they remain operative during the whole useful life of the well. If due to any reason, they have to be removed, it is necessary to destroy them by rotation with cutting tools and, therefore, they cannot be reused. Permanent packers are usually run at well final completions and stingers are “plugged” into them. recoverable: once fastened onto the string, it is feasible to withdraw them at any time, whenever necessary. After a simple maintenance, it is possible to reuse them in future operations. Whenever run with tubing, packers may be single or double

Description • Generally, it is used in liners’ strings with hydraulic type hangers. • It is located one or two feet above the “supporting shoe”. • Inside it has a seat in order to receive the “liner cleaning plug”. • Its operation is based of letting a ball drop from the surface. This ball is retained at the landing collar seat and causes an obstruction inside the liner. The liner hydraulic hanger is fastened due to the hydraulic pressure increase. • Due to a second increase in the hydraulic pressure, the necessary value to break some pins is reached, the ball drops and houses in the “ball catcher sub”. Item not included in Accessory Master List Description • Due to string setting reasons, under certain circumstances, it is necessary to generate a cement ring of a substantial length posing the risk of fracturing formations. • Multiple stage cementing devices (generally of two or three stages) allow cementing two or three shorter annular space sections selectively instead of only one of a considerable length. • It is threaded to the casing at the depth from which it is desired to generate the cement ring. • Its operation is simple: In first place, the first ring is cemented from the bottom of the well. Then a plug is entered into the casing which reaches the cementing device, obstructs the casing inner space and simultaneously displaces a sleeve uncovering some lateral fluid ports. Then, a new cement slurry is injected and the ring builds from the device upwards. • At last, another plug is introduced into the string that upon reaching the device displaces another sleeve covering the lateral fluid ports. • In case of three stage cementing, two devices are used repeating the abovementioned procedure, although the diameters of the sleeves and plugs are of different sizes. • These devices are usually used with a SHUT OFF collar at the bottom of the string replacing the conventional collar. The first launched plug locates in the shut off collar. Pictures / Drawings

Item not included in Accessory Master List Description • Manifold to command fluids through the string and the annulus space. • Choke line A high-pressure pipe leading from an outlet on the BOP stack to the backpressure choke and associated manifold. During well-control operations, the fluid under pressure in the wellbore flows out of the well through the choke line to the choke, reducing the fluid pressure to atmospheric pressure. In floating offshore operations, the choke and kill lines exit the subsea BOP stack and then run along the outside of the drilling riser to the surface. The volumetric and frictional effects of these long choke and kill lines must be considered to control the well properly. • Kill line A high-pressure pipe leading from an outlet on the BOP stack to the highpressure rig pumps. During normal well control operations, kill fluid is pumped through the drillstring and annular fluid is taken out of the well through the choke line to the choke, which drops the fluid pressure to atmospheric pressure. If the drillpipe is inaccessible, it may be necessary to pump heavy drilling fluid in the top of the well, wait for the fluid to fall under the force of gravity, and then remove fluid from the annulus. In such an operation, while one high pressure line would suffice, it is more convenient to have two. In addition, this provides a measure of redundancy for the operation. In floating offshore operations, the choke and kill lines exit the subsea BOP stack and run along the outside of the riser to the surface. The volumetric and frictional effects of these long choke and kill lines must be taken into account to properly control the well. Pictures / Drawings
