Machining method objects Estimated time to complete this lesson: 6–8 minutes In this lesson you will: Create Machining Method objects.

Machining Method objects allow you to organize operations according to the rough, finish, or semi finish method by defining parameters such as Outtol and part stock.

Geometry groups Estimated time to complete this lesson: 11–16 minutes In this lesson you will: Explore and create geometry groups.

Geometry groups define the machining geometry and the orientation of the Part on the machine tool. Parameters such as Part, Blank, and Check geometry, MCS orientation, and clearance planes are define

Different types of operations require different types of geometry. Planar milling operations require bou while surface contouring operations require faces or bodies.

Program objects Estimated time to complete this lesson: 6–8 minutes In this lesson you will: Create program objects.

Program objects allow you to gather and order operations into logical programs. For example, one prog consist of operations that machine the top of the part while another program consists of operations tha machine the side of the part.
