Effectiveness

Expression – Life Path = X

Core Numbers

Life Path – Soul Urge = Y

Life Path Expression Soul Urge

Expression – Soul Urge = Z X + Y + Z = Effectiveness   Steps to take when one of the core numbers is a master number (11 or 22):

1. Find effectiveness without reducing the master number. 2. Find effectiveness with reducing the master number. 3. Find the average of the two numbers. Example 1. Without reducing the master number: 11 – 3 = 8 8–3=5 11 – 8 = 3 8 + 5 + 3 = 16

Core Numbers Life Path 3 Expression 11 Soul Urge 8

2. Reducing the master number 3–2=1 8–3=5 8–2=6 1 + 5 + 6 = 12 3. 16 + 12 = 28 28 / 2 = 14

Numerology  Definitions   Birth  name:  The  name  given  to  you  at  birth.  If  a  name  change  occurs  before  the  age  of  13,  the  new  name  can  be  used.   Birthday  number:  The  day  on  which  you  were  born  reduced  to  a  single  number  or  master  number.  It  is  one  of  the  four   core  elements.  It  is  10%  of  the  core.  It  is  also  known  as  the  sub-opportunity  because  it  is  a  minor  opportunity  that  is  part  of  the   main  opportunity  presented  by  the  life  path.   Challenge  number:  Represents  an  obstacle  generally  encountered  before  the  age  of  21.  This  is  the  only  calculation  in   which  you  will  reduce  master  numbers  and  use  subtraction.  Reduce  the  birth  month,  birthday,  and  birth  year  to  single   digits.  To  calculate  this  number,  reduce  all  master  numbers  to  single  digits  (22=4  and  11=2).  Compare  the  month  and   the  day.  After  reducing  all  numbers,  perform  the  following  steps:  Subtract  the  smaller  of  the  two  numbers  from  the  larger   of  the  two  numbers.  Next,  compare  the  day  and  the  year  and  subtract  the  smaller  number  from  the  larger  number.   Finally,  compare  the  two  remaining  numbers  and  subtract  the  smaller  number  from  the  larger  number.  The  result  will  be   the  challenge  number.   Core  numbers:  Consists  of  the  life  path,  expression,  soul  urge,  and  birthday  numbers.   Effectiveness:  Refers  to  the  ability  to  accomplish  something.  Using  the  life  path,  expression,  and  soul  urge  numbers,  a   person’s  effectiveness  can  be  calculated.  The  result  is  always  a  positive  number.  To  calculate  this  number,  compare  the   expression  to  the  life  path  and  subtract  the  smaller  number  from  the  larger  number  to  get  x.  Compare  the  life  path  to  the   soul  urge  and  subtract  the  smaller  number  from  the  larger  number  to  get  y.  Compare  the  expression  to  the  soul  urge  and   subtract  the  smaller  number  from  the  larger  number  to  get  z.  Add  x,  y  and  z  together  to  find  the  effectiveness. *If  the  life  path,  expression  or  soul  urge  numbers  are  a  master  number,  perform  the  calculation  above.  Then,  perform  the   calculation  above,  but  this  time,  reduce  the  master  numbers  (11  =  2  and  22  =  4)  to  find  the  effectiveness.  Take  the   average  of  these  two  calculations  to  find  the  actual  effectiveness. Expression  number:  Determines  your  ability  in  life.  This  is  30%  of  the  core  and  is  calculated  by  converting  the  numeric   value  of  the  letters  of  the  complete  birth  name  to  a  single  number  or  master  number.     Growth  number:  Describes  the  energy  that  will  enhance  the  experiences  in  a  person’s  life.  This  number  is  always  helpful   and  never  negative  even  if  it  is  the  same  as  one  of  the  core  or  sub-elements,  it  never  takes  away  from  their  energy,  but   rather  enhances  it.  To  calculate,  reduce  the  corresponding  numeric  value  of  the  first  name  to  a  single  number  or  master   number.   Intensity  points:  Numbers  occurring  frequently  in  the  karmic  lesson  chart.  They  represent  lessons,  which  have  been   properly  learned  in  past  lives.   Karmic  debt:  Represents  a  significant  difficulty  encountered  in  this  lifetime  as  payment  for  a  misuse  of  energy  in  a  past  life.   Karmic  lessons:  Represent  potential  challenges  or  weaknesses.   19

Life path number: Determines your opportunity in life; the most important number in numerology. It is 40% of the core. It represents the traits you have when you were born and that you embody for your entire life. Life path periods: A person’s life can be analyzed based on age and birthday. The birth month number (reduced) is the developmental period and this number determines a person’s path between the ages of 0-30. The birthday (reduced) is the productive period and this number determines a person’s path between ages 30-55. The birth year (reduced) is the integrative period and this number determines a person’s path when they are older than 55. Master numbers: Unique numbers that are not reduced, 11 and 22. Maturity number: Describes a lesson learned at the time of maturity, usually around the age of 45. Personal day: Determines which number correlates to a specific day. Once you determine the number it will tell you the energy that you should bring into this day that will allow events to flow smoothly. To calculate this number, add together the reduced number of the calendar month, calendar day and personal year. Personal Month: Determines which number correlates to a specific month. Once you determine the number it will tell you the energy that you should bring into this month that will allow events to flow smoothly. To calculate this number, add together the reduced number of the calendar month and the personal year. Personal Year: Determines which number correlates to a specific calendar year. Once you determine the number it will tell you the energy that you should bring into this year that will allow events to flow smoothly. To calculate this number, add together the reduced numbers of your birthday, birth month, and universal year (calendar year). Reduce these numbers until you get a single digit or master number. Prime intensifier: The intensity point that appears most often in the karmic lesson chart. This represents well-learned in past lives. Secret self: Determines who you are on the inside that you may not be aware of. It is derived from converting the consonants in your name into numbers and reducing to a single number or master number. Soul urge number: Determines your motivation in life. It is derived from converting the vowels in your birth name into numbers and reducing to a single number or master number. It represents 20% of the core. Spaces: Refers to the spaces between numbers 1-9 and the master numbers 11 and 22. There is 1 space between each of the numbers. Even though numerically 11 – 9 = 2, there is only 1 space between 9 and 11. Also, even though numerically 22 – 11 = 11, there is only 1 space between 11 and 22. Sub-elements: Consist of the month, birthday, and year numbers reduced to single numbers or master numbers. Temperament: Describes the emotional, physical, intuitive, and mental aspects of a person. It is derived by using the chart provided and determining the number of letters in each of the four categories. Universal Year: Refers to the reduced number of a year. Example: 2015 = 8. Also referred to as the calendar year. 20
