Prerequisites and software requirements Before installing Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser on your PC, please check its compliancy with the prerequisites and software requirements. Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser application requires 195.19 MB space on the install drive.

2.1 Operating systems Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser can be used on the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7 Microsoft Windows VISTA Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Windows 2000

2.2 Supported browsers Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser can be used with the following Internet browsers:

Installation Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser software installer is delivered as a download file only. First you need to download the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser from Nokia Solutions and Networks Online Services (NOLS), and then install the software on your PC.

3.1 Download Installer 1. Log into NOLS with your NOLS credentials. 2. Navigate to Product Information Center and select in the sidebar Download browser software under Browsing solution. 3. Download Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser installer software zip file on your PC.

3.2 Install software 1. Extract the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser installer file from the downloaded zip file. 2. Double click on the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser Installer file.

Note: The Installer detects the destination folder in which the previous version of the application has been installed and retains the document sets that exists already.

3. If a newer version of InformationBrowser is installed, the installer goes through the below steps, otherwise it throws a message “You have already a newer version (version number) installed!” 4. Click on Next to navigate through the installation program.

NOTE! If you wish to launch the Information Browser after installation, tick the checkmark for Launch Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser after installation.

5. Click on Finish on the finish screen to complete the installation. If you selected Launch Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser after installation option during the software installation process, the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser opens in your default Internet Browser.

Start Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser Follow these steps to start Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser: 1. Select Start – Programs – Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser – Information Browser - Start to open the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser.

Stop Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser Follow these steps to start Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser: 3. Select Start – Programs – Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser – Information Browser – Stop to shutdown the Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser.

Uninstall

Uninstall Follow these steps to uninstall Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser:

1. Select Start - Programs - Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser - Uninstall to open uninstall window of Nokia Solutions and Networks Information Browser. Note: In case the InformationBrowser application is running on the user’s system, it will be stopped automatically, once uninstall process begins.

2. Click on Next to confirm uninstall and initiate uninstall program.

3. Uninstall program shows the progress of removing installed files.
