RSU Types

RSU-40: The RSU-40 is a UMTS multi-carrier radio unit, working in 2100MHz/AWS. RSU-40 supports a maximum of 4 carriers, and the output power is 60W. RSU-40 module consists of MCPA (multicarrier power module) module, transceiver module, and duplex filter LNA. There are one TX/RX port and one RX port for the antenna connection.

RSU-60: The RSU-60 is a multi-carrier RF module, working in 850/900/1800/1900MHz. It can be configured as GSM only, UMTS only or mixed mode module. RSU60 can be configured from 1 to 6 TRX in GSM mode. In case of GMSK modulation, 80W TOC output power can be provided. If 8 PSK are used, the TOC output power is 50W. If RSU-60 i s used as UMTS mode, it can support 4 carriers with 80W TOC output power. In mixed mode the RSU-60 can support 4 GSM TRX and 1 UMTS carriers or 2 GSM TRX and 2 UMTS carriers. RSU60 module consists of MCPA module, transceiver module, and duplex filter LNA. There are one TX/RX port and one RX port for connecting antenna.

RSU-82: The RSU-82 is a multi-carrier and multi-mode RF module, working in 900/1800/2100MHz. One RSU-82 can process 2 transmit paths 4 received paths and thus support 2 sectors in GSM/UMST, or 1 sector with 2*2 MIMO in HSPA+/LTE mode. RSU-82 can be configured as GSM only, UMTS only, LTE only or mixed mode. RSU-82 can be configured to support maximum 8 TRX in GSM mode. In case of GMSK modulation, 2*80W TOC output power can be provided. If the RSU-82 is used in UMTS mode, it can support 2*2 carriers on 900MHz with 2*80W TOC output power or 2*3 carriers on 2100MHz with 2*60W TOC output power. In dual mode, RSU82 can support 8 GSM TRX + 2 UMTS carriers.

RRU Types

RRU R8882:

The ZXSDR R8882 is a distributed RRU (Remote Radio Unit). The RRU is based on common ZTE new generation RRU platform, and can work in GSM, UMTS, CDMA or LTE single mode or multi-mode in the same frequency band. R8882 is easy to deploy. It is portable to t ransport and flexible to install on the pole, tower and wall. It is suitable for any weather condition with water resistance and dust proof case.

RRU R8962: The ZXSDR R8962 is a new compact dual-path TD-LTE Radio Remote Unit (RRU), which supports 2.3GHz (Band E) or 2.6GHz (B and D) band. The ZXSDR R8962 and the Base Band Unit (BBU) constitute a complete eNodeB that is applied to indoor scenarios in dense urban and common urban areas.

An RRU is connected to the BPL Board of the eBBU via an optical cable (CPRI/OBRI interface). It has multiple connectors for the antenna and supports MIMO architecture. Both RRU Types could be installed either indoor or outdoor and support PIMDC (lightning protection).

BBU Types BBU B8200: The ZXSDR B8200 is a large-capacity compact Base Band Unit (BBU) with separate baseband and RF based on the mature and stable Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform. ZTE has applied the unified advanced SDR platform to WiMAX, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, WCDMA and LTE. The ZXSDR B8200 and ZTE RRU series constitute a complete TD-LTE eNodeB. Compared with traditional networking solutions, the BBU + RRU networking solution not only avoids the dependence on equipment rooms and reduces the difficulty of deployment, but also effectively accelerates network construction, meeting operators’ requirements for rapid and low-cost network construction.
