Introduction For years blackjack experts have told the public that blackjack is a beatable game. When the news that blackjack can be beaten by card counting became public knowledge in the early 1960's, the casinos almost went into hysteria. Their first reaction was to change the rules of the game, so that no one except the dealer was likely to win. The public rightly avoided this muddled up game. Because of the adverse public reaction to the rule changes, the casino bosses were forced to reinstate many of the original rules. However, in the intervening years, the casinos have made a number of more subtle but highly effective changes to thwart card counters. As a result, blackjack is not the same game that it was when card counting was first created as a viable winning strategy for playing blackjack. Today, beating the dealer by using card counting techniques is an extraordinarily involved and difficult process, and most players don't have the time nor the bankroll needed to become successful card counters. However, it is not necessary to learn card counting to beat blackjack. I have used a number of different systems to win at blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat, and I have won consistently for over twenty years. In a contest between the casino and a player using a really good system, I am convinced that the player can gain a definite edge, especially if the house edge is less than 2 percent. However, the proof that any system is bound to fail is based on a computerized betting simulation of possible outcomes. These simulations are unrealistic in that they can't test what skillful handing of a gaming contest will entail Individuals have a number of options that simulations do not consider. A player may quit at the "right time." He may adjust or change his bet selection methods to Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 4
respond to changing conditions in the game he is playing. He may raise or lower his bets as circumstances indicate. He has the option of pulling off losing tables, with only modest losses. Conversely, he may go for blood during winnings sessions. He may lock up profits and limit losses. The Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy combines many of these "player strengths" to reduce the house edge to close to zero. Then, using specific betting strategies, and the knowledge of how to exploit the “Player Advantage Bet,” the player can actually gain an advantage over the house. The result is that a player can win far higher amounts much more consistently than conventional analysis of blackjack would predict.
The strategy is completely described in the manual, the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy. The report you hold in your hands is a supplement to thismanual. The manual gives complete details on how to use the strategy and provides definitive proof that the strategy works. Before you can implement the suggestions in this report, you should first learn Nine-Count Blackjack.
The Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy is a powerful winning system that can be tailored to fit just about any playing level. It can be used at blackjack tables with $1 bet minimums, $5 minimums, $10 minimum wagers and so on. It works well against all versions of blackjack, including blackjack offered by online casinos.

The strategy provides consistent reliable winnings and has built-in safeguards against losses. Because it provides a predictable string of winnings, it is possible to set up a plan to use this strategy to make a certain amount of money every day. The purpose of this book is to show two different routes to use this strategy to make $4,000 a day. The first option is playing blackjack offered by land-based casinos. The second option is to play blackjack online. Once you experience the strength of using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy, you may decide to give up your job and just play blackjack for a living. However, there is more to making this decision than how much you can make using the strategy. Neither this system, nor any other strategy is a "sure thing." Life doesn't offer many guarantees like that. However, if your experience is like mine, you will have many pleasurable hours playing and beating the casinos at blackjack. And, if you want to "max out" your winnings from the strategy, this report will show you how! The complete strategy may be accessed online at: http://www.silverthornepublications.net/Nine-CountBlackjack/

Hourly Winnings One of the best features about this strategy is its predictability. While anything can happen over the next few hands at any blackjack table, as you play longer using the strategy, the results become more and more predictable. After playing hundreds of games in casinos as well as playing thousands of simulated games on computers, we determined that the hourly winnings were pretty much dependent on: a. The speed of the game and b. The size of your bets. So long as you apply the strategy correctly, your hourly wins will fall within a narrow average. Assuming an average table speed of about 80 hands per hour in a land-based game and 200 hands per hour playing online, the amount you can win per hour is strictly dependent on the size of your bets, which is determined by your bankroll. This is very straightforward and simply means that if you play with black $100 chips, you should expect to win more than a player betting with green $25 chips. Likewise, the green chip player will average winning more than the red $5 chip player.

Table 1 shows the relationship between hourly winnings and the level of bankroll used at a table averaging 80 hands per hour for land-based play and 200 hands per hour for online play . These illustrations are based on the actual results obtained in hundreds of games played in real casinos. While this table, as well as the ones which follow, show the amounts you can win over different time periods with different amounts "invested" in each game, there is nothing hypothetical about the Nine-Count Blackjack winning rates. These amounts are based on actual casino games.

The first column shows the Base Bet for each level of play. The Base Bet is the minimum bet at each level of play. The second column, Game Bankroll, shows the buy-in or investment you will need to make for each level of play. For example, to make $1 minimum bets you will need a Game Bankroll of $60. The third column, Total Bankroll, represents the total blackjack bankroll you will need for each level of play to correctly use the Nine-Count Blackjack Stratetgy. The last two columns show the Average Net Win Rates for play in land-based casinos and online casinos. These winnings are net of losing games and are based on eighty hands per hour in the land-based games and 200 hands per hour online.

You will note that we did not show any hourly win rates for Land-based games for $1 and $2 Base Bets. You are not likely to find any land-based games accepting bets this low. Likewise we didn’t show hourly winnings for online play for $200 and $500 base bets. Most online casinos will not accept bets this high. If our objective is to win $4,000 a day it should be obvious with the different bankroll requirements and hourly win rate that we need one plan for land-based play and a different one for online play. The next chapter covers the plan to make $4,000 a day playing in land-based games while the following one deals with online play.

Starting Small to Win Big – Playing Blackjack in a LandBased Casino One of the strongest benefits of learning the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy is that you can use winnings from the casino to build your bankroll very quickly. Anyone who can raise just a few hundred dollars can get started using this strategy to build a respectable gambling bankroll. Starting with $5 Base Bets, Table 2 shows the hourly win rates for land-based play. Table 2. Hourly Winnings for Games Played at Rate of 80 Rounds per Hour at Different Bet Levels (Win per Round = $23.416 with $5 Base) Size of Base Bet

Our objective is to make $4,000 every day. If we tried to do this as a $5 bettor there wouldn’t be enough hours in a day to accomplish this. On the other hand, if we decided to play at the $200 Base Bet Level we could win $4,000 in a little over half an hour.

I decided that a realistic level of play would be that level where a player could win $4,000 a day for two to three hours of play. Using this criterion you can immediately see that $50 betting, with its $1,873 an hour win rate is the lowest level of betting that meets this objective. Obviously, you can immediately start play at this level if you have enough bankroll – which is $15,000 for $50 base bets. I am going to assume that you would rather “grow” you own bankroll out of your blackjack winnings. Table 3. recaps bankroll levels for $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $200 and $500 Base Bettors. Table 3. Here are the assumptions behind the Bankroll Growth Plan shown in Table 4. 1. Your objective is to grow a bankroll larger enough to make $50 base bets, which requires a bankroll of $15,000. 2. You will start out as a $5 bettor using a $1,500 bankroll. 3. You will play blackjack at each level until you have won enough to qualify you to play at the next higher level shown in the table. Here is how the table is set up: Base Bets – Your minimum bet at each level of play. Bankroll for this Level of Play – The total bankroll you need for each level of play. For example, the bankroll needed for $5 betting is $1,500.
Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 13
Bankroll Needed to Play at Next Higher Level of Play – This is the next level you want to reach at each level of play. As a $5 bettor, starting with $1,500, you want to build your bankroll to $2,400. Winnings Need to Play at Next Level – This is your dollar win goal at each level of play. For example, starting as a $5 bettor, your win goal is $900, the amount needed to increase your bankroll from $1,500 to $2,400. The next level of bankroll of $2,400 is the amount needed to make $8 Base Bets. Hourly Win Rate for Level of Play – Each level of play has it own hourly win rate. As a $5 bettor, playing at 80 hands per hour, your average net win rate will be $187.33 per hour. This is the amount shown for $5 bettors in the row for $5 betting. Hours of Play Required to Reach the Next Level of Play – Here we calculate how long it will take you, on the average, to win enough to move up one level of play. As a $5 bettor, it will take you 4.8 hours of play to win enough to grow your bankroll from $1,500 to $2,400 and be qualified to move up to making $8 Base Bets. As you can see, you will progress through each level of play until you meet the objective of winning enough to qualify to play at the next higher level. It will take 4.8 hours to move from making $5 bets up to $8 betting. Play two hour more and you will move from $8 to $10 betting. As a $10 bettor put in four hours of play and you will be qualified to make $15 bets. The next move is a little larger as you will jump from making $15 to $25 bets. If you want to insert playing as a $20 bettor, go ahead, it will short the time needed to move up to making $50 bets. As shown in the table, it will take you 5.4 hours to reach the $25 betting level.
Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 14
From $25 betting to $35 betting takes another 3.2 hours of play. The final stage is moving from making $35 bets to $50 betting and this takes 3.4 hours of play. Add them all up and we show just 22 hours of play in land-based games are needed to move from making $5 base bets up to $50 base bets. If you like you can take the next step and move up to making $100 bets. This is my preferred betting level for this strategy and I consistently have averaged making from $3,500 to $4,500 an hour at this level of play. If you decide to stay at the $50 betting level it will only take you a little longer than two hours of play to win $4,000. You may want to try the three day a week plan where you play blackjack four hours per casino visit for three visits a week. This will give you twelve hours a week of play. As a $50 player you will make about $22,000 a week following this plan. Having adequate bankroll is critical to the success of this plan. If you have trouble raising enough to qualify for $5 betting you should consider starting out planning online and winning enough to make $5 bets in a land-base casinos. However, you always want to make sure that you aren’t playing with the rent money or other money you need for essentials. I call this money “scared money” because you absolutely cannot afford even a single loss with this money. Can you guess what happens when you play with scared money? You don't play correctly because you are afraid to lose. If you are afraid to lose, you will end up doing strange things like losing more than you should.
Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 15
With scared money on the line, you will be afraid to take a loss, because you really can't afford to lose any of the money. So your behavior changes. When you have a losing game, you will be reluctant to take your lumps and pull off the table with a loss. You may pull more money out and continue playing, because to quit playing would entail recognizing that you had lost money you couldn't afford to lose. Once you fall into this trap, your discipline will rapidly disappear and you will find yourself chasing losses. That’s one of the things having an adequate bankroll of money especially set aside for gambling will help you overcome. Having a "risk bankroll" is designed to protect you from losing control when you gamble.

Growing Your Bankroll Playing Online In the previous chapter we presented a plan to grow your bankroll large enough to make $4,000 a day playing in a land-based casino. In this chapter we are going to take the same approach, but apply it strictly to online play. The main differences between using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy in landbased versus an online game are: 1. You can play with lower betting limits online. For example most online casinos accept $1 minimum bets while these games have virtually disappeared in land-based casinos. 2. Since online games are much faster then land-based games, your hourly win rate will be higher in an online game since you will play more hands to hour. In this book we assume speeds of eighty hands per hour for land-based games and 200 hands per hour for online play. Table 5 below shows the hourly win rates Starting with $5 Base Bets, Table 2 shows the hourly win rates for online play.

Our objective is to make $4,000 every day. If we tried to do this as a $1 bettor there wouldn’t be enough hours in a day to accomplish this. On the other hand, if we decided to play at the $100 Base Bet Level we could win $4,000 in less than half an hour. The sweet spot is betting at the $20 level with its $1873 an hour net win rate. At this level of play it will take only two hours and eight minutes a day to win $4,000.

Time Required to Grow Bankroll to $6,000
Here are the assumptions behind the Bankroll Growth Plan shown in Table 7. 1. Your objective is to grow a bankroll larger enough to make $20 base bets, which requires a bankroll of $6,000. 2. You will start out as a $1 bettor using a $300 bankroll. You can lower this to just $150 by making a $150 deposit in an online casino offering a bonus equal to 100% of your deposit. If you are really aggressive you can start out with just $30, which is one-half of the amount needed for a single game. Here you will deposit $30, receive a $30 bonus from the online and proceed as described in our plan. The only difference is that you will have to grow $60 into a full $300 bankroll as required for $1 bets and then follow the plan thereafter. 3. You will play blackjack at each level until you have won enough to qualify you

to play at the next higher level shown in the table. Here is how the table is set up: Base Bets – Your minimum bet at each level of play. Bankroll for this Level of Play – The total bankroll you need for each level of play. For example, the bankroll needed for $1 betting is $300 (but see above for how to get started with just $30). Bankroll Needed to Play at Next Higher Level of Play – This is the next level you want to reach at each level of play. As a $1 bettor, starting with $300, your first goal is to build your bankroll to $600 which qualifies you to make $2 base bets.. Winnings Need to Play at Next Level – This is your dollar win goal at each level of play. For example, starting as a $1 bettor, your win goal is $300, the amount needed to increase your bankroll from $300to $600. The next level of bankroll of $600 is the amount needed to make $2 Base Bets. Hourly Win Rate for Level of Play – Each level of play has it own hourly win rate. As a $1 bettor, playing at 200 hands per hour, your average net win rate will be $93.67 per hour. This is the amount shown for $1 bettors in the row for $1 betting. Hours of Play Required to Reach the Next Level of Play – Here we calculate how long it will take you, on the average, to win enough to move up one level of play. As a $1 bettor, it will take you 3.2 hours of play to win enough to grow your bankroll from $300 to $600 and be qualified to move up to making $2 Base Bets. As you can see, you will progress through each level of play until you meet the objective of winning enough to qualify to play at the next higher level.

It will take 3.2 hours to move from making $1 bets up to $2 betting. Play 4.8 hours more and you will move from $2 to $5 betting. As a $5 bettor you can put in 3.2 hours of play and you will be qualified to make $10 bets. The next move is from $10 to $15 bets. As shown in the table, it will take you only 1.6 hours to reach the $15 betting level. From $15 betting to $20 betting takes just another 1.1 hours of play. Add them all up and we show just 14 hours of play in online games are needed to move from making $1 base bets up to $20 base bets. If you like you can take the next step and move up to making $25 bets. This is my preferred betting level for this strategy and I consistently have averaged making from $2,000 to $2,500 an hour at this level of play. If you decide to stay at the $20 betting level it will only take you a little longer than two hours of play to win $4,000. You may want to try the three day a week plan where you play blackjack four hours per casino visit for three visits a week. This will give you twelve hours a week of play. As a $20 player you will make about $22,000 a week following this plan. Having adequate bankroll is critical to the success of this plan. If you have trouble raising enough to qualify for $1 betting you can consider our aggressive approach, described above, where you can get started for as little as just $30.

How to Make $4,000 a Day With No Money at Risk I am going to show you how to set yourself up with a $4,000 a day income with no money at risk. However, to prime this system you have to be willing to temporarily deposit $30 with an online casino. Here are the details – It is possible to grow $30 into a large enough bankroll to make $4,000 every day for just a couple of hours play. To do this you need to “cheat” a little. Let me explain – The lowest level betting for Nine-Count Blackjack is $1 betting. To play at this level correctly, you need a Total Bankroll of $300. However, the required Game Bankroll or “Buy-in” is just $60. Here’s where we get sneaky. To cheat the normal bankroll requirements of having $300 to play at the $1 level, you start playing with only $60. This gives you no reserve. So you have risk of about one chance in eleven that you might lose your first game and lose part of your $60. So your risk is about $30.
Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 23
With Nine-Card Blackjack you normally risk no more than one-half of your Game Bankroll in any given game. So, with a $60 deposit, you are really risking just half of that or $30. However, there is a way whereby you won’t risk a cent. Here’s how you do this – Deposit just $30 in one of our recommended online casinos. The casino will match your deposit with a 100% bonus of $30. Now you’ve got enough to play a game of blackjack using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy. Let’s assume the worst, that you lose your game. You will lose about $30 – the amount of the casino’s bonus. Even with this loss, you will still have your original deposit of $30. So, the amount of money you have put at risk is really zero! Table 8 shows how you can grow $60 (your deposit of $30 plus the casino bonus of $30) into a $6,000 bankroll playing online. You may recall that with a $6,000 bankroll you will be able to make $20 Base Bets online and that play at this level pays $1,873 an hour in average profits. As a $20 bettor, playing online, you’ll win $4,000 every two hours and eight minutes you play.

Bankroll for this Level of Play

Time Required to Grow Bankroll to $6,000
16.5 hrs
We use the same notation here as we used in the previous two chapters. The different between this table and the original one showing how to build a $6,000 bankroll playing online (Table 7) is that here we started with just $60 (half from us and half from the casino) and grew a bankroll of $6,000 from here. Moving up levels of play as we won, it will take just 16.5 hours to grow a $6,000 bankroll playing online. If you prefer playing in land-based games you can accomplish the same thing if you are willing to play online until you grow your bankroll large enough to be able to safely make $5 base bets, the assumed minimum for play in a land-based casino. Table 9 shows a mixed approach. Here we start play online as a $1 bettor with a $60 buy-in ($30 from us, $30 from the casino). We continue playing online until we have built a bankroll of $1,500 – the level of Total Bankroll recommended for $5 play.

Once we have grown our bankroll to $1,500, we switch over to playing in landbased games. As shown in Table 9 we can grow a $15,000 bankroll – the amount needed to make $50 Base Bets – in 32 hours. With this plan we will spend out first 10.6 hours of play online and then switch over to land-based play. Table 9. Summary of Our Build Your Own Bankroll Plans We have presented four different approaches to building a large enough bankroll so that you can make $4,000 a day playing blackjack in about two hours play. All of these plans assume that you use the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy. Each of our plans are solid, using win rates derived from 4,290 games played and documented. Plan One assumes that you play in land-based casinos. Table 4 summarizes this plan in which it will take you just 22 hours to turn a $1,500 bankroll into a $15,000 bankroll. With a $15,000 bankroll you will be able to make $50 base bets with a documented Win Rate of $1,873 an hour. Thus, playing a little over two hours a day will net you $4,000 a day in net profits! Plan Two assumes that you play online only. Table 7 summarizes this plan. Here it will take about 14 hours to grow your bankroll from $300 to $6,000. With a $6,000 bankroll you will be able to make $20 base bets and win $1,873 an hour playing online. As with land-based play, a little more than two hours a day of blackjack play will bring in $4,000 a day in winnings. Plan Three is shown n Table 8. It is similar to Plan Two in that you will be playing online. However, in this plan we cheat a little and get everything started for just $60. Of this $60, $30 will come from us and $30 from a casino sign-up bonus. If you only want to risk $30 and set up a $4,000 a day income playing online, this is the plan for you. Here it will take you 16.5 hours to grow a $6,000 bankroll, the amount needed to make $20 base bets and set up your $4,000 a day profit plan. Plan Four is detailed in Table 9. This is the plan for player who wants to play blackjack in land-based games but still wants a way to get started with just $30 like the online players. In this plan you will start playing online with $1 bets and a $60 deposit ($30 from you, $30 from the casino). You will play online until you have Make $4,000 a Day Using the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy © 2010 Silverthorne Publications 27
build a bankroll of $1,500 – the amount needed to make $5 base bets and play in a land-based casino. Once you reach this bankroll level you will switch over to playing in land-based games. Following Plan 4 it will take you 32 hours to turn a $30 deposit into $15,000 and be able to set up a $4,000 a day blackjack income. Which way you go is up to you. However, each of these plans has worked for other players and will work for you, too!

Rules to Help You Keep Your Winnings There is no question that if you follow the Nine-Count Blackjack Strategy Playing and Betting rules you will generate wins. I have even given you the average wins per hour achieved in actual play. Does this mean you can relax? Unfortunately no. Even though there is no question that you will win using this system of play, there is still the issue of leaving the casino with your profits in hand. One of our most important rules to help you leave a winner is the 90% Rule. This rule says very simply that if you are close to hitting a target profit or a daily profit, that sometimes 90% or so is close enough. I recall very well an acquaintance of mine who had a monster roll at a craps table. When I walked up to the table, Joe was rolling the dice and playing with $500 chips scattered all over the layout. By the time he sevened out, he was up over $48,000. This is not bad considering he bought in less than an hour earlier for a grand. I strongly urged him to come with me and take a break. I reminded him how badly he needed this score and how good he would feel walking out with his winnings intact. He nodded and smiled and then gave some lame excuse about wanting to bet with just a couple more shooters. I had more than made my nut for that day. In fact, catching the last ten minutes of his hot craps roll had put me way ahead. I decided to take a break in the coffee shop and try some of the coconut cream pie which was reputed to be the best in town. I ran into another friend and talked for over an hour. When I came back out, Joe was still at the same table. I walked up and noticed his pitiful little pile of green chips. Joe gave me a lame look and continued to play. I saw him the next day and asked him how he ended up. "Tapped out," were his words. "You didn't drop the whole 50 grand did you?" I asked. "It was only 48 thousand," he responded. "The reason I kept playing is because I wanted to hit 50 thousand." As I walked away, I wondered to myself what in the hell is the difference between 48 thousand and 50 thousand when you are that much ahead?
I think 48 thousand should have been close enough, don't you?
Any time you are struggling to hit a target profit, are playing on a short time schedule or just start to hear that little nagging voice somewhere in the back of your skull telling you to watch out, you can remember Joe. He should have known that 48 grand was close enough. Don't ever get hung up on exact amounts. If you are trying to win $50 and hit $48, you can call it close enough and take a break. Remember that you will never go broke by taking a break early and walking off with your profits intact.

Living a Life of Ease When you go to the casino, you need to remember that your one purpose is to win. You can drink, party, visit, flirt and relax on your own time after you have locked up your daily win. After becoming a proficient Silverthorne Blackjack player and increasing the size of your minimum wagers, you will be able to travel a good part of the year, courtesy of your favorite casinos. This may become an important part of your retirement plan. You can use your new skills at blackjack to pay for your vacations and pocket a good deal of change as well. You may consider becoming a full time pro. Before you make this step, I want you to think about it very carefully. Whereas playing several times a month and winning can bring you a great deal of pleasure, having to play every day to make your daily nut is very difficult. Casinos can be glamorous and exciting if you don't have to be in one every day. On a daily basis, I can think of many things I had rather do than go through the repetitive grind of play needed to hit my daily win goal. Everyone is different. If you think you would like to turn pro, I suggest you take a two week vacation and spend at least ten of the days in a casino playing blackjack four hours a day. If, after two weeks of this, you are still game for more, then maybe you have what it takes to become a full time player. If you are like me, you may have to settle for being a part time pro and playing less frequently.
