Short content o" the story: &roessor's daughter told the student that she'll dan$e with him only i he brings her a red rose. Student is being sad# be$ause he doesn't have a red rose# nor he $an fnd one# and tomorrow is the ball where the student plans to bring a red rose and dan$e with the girl or the whole night. Nightingale sees the student's love towards the girl# he de$ides that he's going to

bring him the red rose. %eneeds fnds aa red roseone. bush# bush grows and yellow roses# and he nbut thethat roserose buse where red only roseswhite grow# plant's vessels roe be$ause o the winter# but there's one way to unreee them and to grow a rose overnight. The nightingale must pier$e his heart on the rose's thorn and sing the whole night# to grow a rose red li"e rubies. %e does so# and dies.  The ne)t morning# when when student opened the window# window# he saw a red rose# rose# he ran to get it and then ran to give it to the girl. *ut she told him that the rose won't mat$h her dress# and that the diamonds whi$h she got rom another boy are ar more e)pensive $ompared to the rose. Student gets o+ended and tells the girl that she's being ungrateul and throws are rose on the ground where it got ran over by a $ar.
