NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM OFFICE

UNIT HISTORY The CLPC Unit was activated on 01 October 1957 pursuant to GO Nr 26, GHQ, AFP dtd 01 JUNE 1957. The unit was paced under the supervision and control of the 1st military Area (1MA) based at Camp Servillano Aquino Tarlac. On 01 February 1970, the unit was under the supervision and control of the Home Defense Affairs Unit, 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division at fort Magsaysay, Palayan City. Finally, when ARESCOM was activated on June 1992, The NEUST ROTC Unit then CLPC ROTC UNIT was placed under the control and supervision of the 301st (NE) Community Defense Center, 3RCDG, ARESCOM, stationed at Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City From 1957 to date, the NEUST ROTC Unit had fifty four(54) Post ROTC Commands. Likewise the unit had produced sixty nine(69) post Commander wherein many of them were commissioned in the Reserved Force, AFP and some are in the active military service

ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

 This

infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for the purpose of establishing offices engaged in administrative functions and services. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in October, 2007 and completed in July, 2010.

INFIRMARY AND OFFICE OF STUDENTS AFFAIR

This infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for purpose establishing a building which will serve as its clinic and as an additional laboratory facility for the students enrolled at the College of Nursing. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in May, 2012 and completed in February, 2013.

It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and constructed in September, 2009 and completed in July, 2011.

UNIVERSITY CYBER CENTER (UCC)

This infrastructure was located at the side of the College of Education building which has a computers for the fast learning of the students.

OJT / JOURNAL OFFICES BUILDING

This infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for the purpose of establishing an office for the On the Job Training Program and University student publications. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in July, 2012 and completed in November, 2012.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT GOVERNMENT OFFICE

This infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of regents for the purpose of establishing a venue where students at the Main (Sumacab) Campus can buy and eat their snacks and meals. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in May, 2012 and completed in August.

Marketing Office

This infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for the purpose of establishing a building where farmers can conduct trainings and seminars. The department of Agrarian Reform thru Undersecretary Narcisiso Nieto donated the budget for its construction. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and Construction started in February, 2010 and completed in January, 2011.

The infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for purpose of establishing a venue for the College of Education students majoring in PE and for use by the faculty and non teaching personnel who are interested in physical fitness and aerobics programs. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in August, 2010 and completed in February, 2011.

This infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for the purpose of providing the students, faculty and staff a covered pedestrian lane where they will be protected from the heat of the sun or getting wet every time it rains while walking towards their classrooms or offices. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in June, 2011 and completed in January, 2013.

The infrastructure development project was conceived and approved by the Board of Regents for the purpose of establishing for the students pursuing BS in architecture. It was constructed under the leadership of President Hilario C. Ortiz and construction started in June, 2006 and competed in November, 2012.

ANGLE OF COED

This building is said to be the first building in NEUST Sumacab Campus.

Neust Ecumenical chapel that soon will rise here is near at the guard house.

FOOD COURT (PHASE II)

This infrastructure that on going is the food court phase II. Located near at the close and open gym and back of the University Student Government Office.

COURT  The three court was in the oval and can seen over the grandstand is composed of three courts where in basket ball court is in the middle and volleyball court is at the both side.

GRANSTAND

 This infrastructure is called grandstand located at the side of oval, serve as the bench for watching in oval.

This infrastructure is dedicated for the advancement of research and development along the areas of science and technology which is one of the mandates of the University. This building was constructed through the university income as approved by the NEUST Board of Regents during the incumbency of President Hilario C. Ortiz. In grateful acknowledgement of President Ortiz” effort to make the University Excel along the areas of research and technology, this edifice, will henceforth, be called PRESIDENT HILARIO C. ORTIZ HALL
