• Features of CM application: • CM Editor can do plan creation, actual configuration viewing, parameter mass modification, etc. • CM Plan Manager to export network parameter dump and import xml file as a plan. • CM Provisioner is to provision or activate the created plan. • CM Analyser is to perform consistency check of radio configuration data, both actual and plans.
• Features of PlanEditor: • Import RNC & BSC xml dump into MS Access Database format. • Offline viewing of RAN or BSS parameter. • Perform network inconsistency check via SQL queries. • Template based object creation or plan based object deletion. • Doing mass modification of RAN or BSS parameter.

• The query checking is also important for regularly parameter consistency check, which can be performed once a week.
• Example of query: • Checking duplicate ADJS • Checking missing source or target WCEL object • Checking the consistency of PriScrCode • Checking duplicate of BCCH & BSIC • Checking the AdjgTxPwrMaxRACH consistency for 1800 band • Only outgoing ADJS • Etc.
• After finish importing the xml plan we need to run the all query checking, in order to minimize the errors on the xml that we create.
• There are pre-defined SQL queries in PlanEditor to perform all kinds of consistency checking on different object classes, e.g. WBTS, WCEL, ADJS, ADJG, ADJW, etc.
