Negatively Positive
I want to come up with a 100% foolproof method for this cool precognition effect I don’t have it yet ( at least without a double envelope), but this one is fun .
Audience and Participant Perception The mentalist puts a prediction in the table and start performing an unique experiment with a few invisible coins. .After the decision of a coin , the mentalist takes the invisible thing and flip the coin in the air. The participant decide for a side Incredible enough, the prediction is completely correct
Effect Precognition. A Coin and a side where it lands is predicted
You need Any paper and any pen. Rapport and active imagination from the participant
How? There`s a lot of different approach from this effect since Mr. Maven publish his version.
The how can be divided in 2 parts: 1. Verbal Control of the coin 2. Influence of the side You can learn from great masters of this technique: Max Maven, Kenton Knepper, Doc Hillford, David Berglas, David Eldridge, and others. Here is one short piece from the master David Berglas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqpMeT5LTRs
You can see around the internet terrible performances of this wonderful technique called “Equivoque” or “Magician Choice” or “1 in 3 Choices” or “Verbal Control”, and learn from the mistakes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G8slfmLg44
I will not share my thoughts in equivoque because I assumed that you already have your ways. The idea that I wanna share with you is the influence for the side. I always influence with my words and the psychology behind this idea for a head up side After your wonderful and convincing verbal control, you said: “Ok , in a moment I will throw this … (act as if you don’t know which coin is) quarter ,yes, and you will tell me if this coin lands (point up with your right hand) HEADS UP , or tails up” This part if the first part of the “anchoring”. Next you throw the invisible coin, mimic the movement and act as if you catch the invisible coin in your left hand After that you say: “How do you see the heads side “ And this precise moment, you point with your right hand again up to the ceiling. At this moment you utilize that “anchor” (pointing at the ceiling) for increasing your odds.
Also how do you phrase your 2º line is important, because I don’t ask “ Which side the coin lands” but how the participant see the HEAD.
There’s only one way to answer because after that you give 2 options before Heads up Or Tails up The word “DOWN” isn’t used. Is obvious that heads up means tails down, but as you don’t use the word “DOWN”, you participant will said UP. As I said you need pen, paper and also complete concentration of your participant, so this piece isn’t for everyone and not for every situation. But is a nice thing to know that you can really influence the thoughts of your participants.
100% Foolproof: If you want a completely 100% foolproof method, just put the paper down, and behind your prediction, put a quarter heads down. So with this idea you can have 2 outs.
If the participant said “Heads down”, you take the paper ( is important that never label the paper as a prediction for this approach) and show your prediction in a form of a coin
If the participant follow your influence and said “Heads up” ,just with a little of sleight of hand, take the paper and the coin as if a matrix coin and card routine, steal the coin and show the paper as a written prediction.

Conclusion
Thanks for your interest in my material. This effect sounds too bold for a few ones, but actually it works. If you are confident and use the correct words, you can influence the “Heads up” side.
Have fun and try this piece
