NARRATIVE REPORT

The Pangasinan Division II conducted the 2017 Division Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES – O) Camp and Summit on February 24, 25, 26, 2017 at Manaoag National High School Manaoag, Pangasinan, this is pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 52, s. 2011 and DepEd Order No. 93 s. 2011. This three day live – in activity has theme of Climate Change Information: An Emerging Need for Better Future. The YES – O camp seek to achieve the following objectives as follows; to familiarize participants on the mandated programs, projects and activities pertinent to the Youth for Environment in Schools, to create awareness on the state of the Philippine environment and ecology; focusing on significant issues and concerns; to learn how to sustain the environment through our initiative to do actions; to instill environment values in every pupil to motivate actual involvement in worthwhile and doable projects and activities for the environment and lastly to train young leaders on aspects of leadership, management, teamwork and volunteerism. On the February 24, 2017,the departure time is 1:00 pm to go on the camp site, for the registration of the participants and our students shows their camaraderie in assembling our camp site and tents, in the evening of that day the activity where the Socialization of the students, for them to get to know each other. On February 25, 2017 different activities where scheduled, early in the morning the first activity is Zumba dance, after the breakfast, the interactive lectures with different environmental topics was discussed to the participants at the same time submission of the outputs of different activities is scheduled. In the afternoon session the continuation of the plenary sessions and was enjoyed by the participants. The night activity was also enjoyed by the student because it was the presentation of the Environmental Hero of the different schools. On February 26, 2017, different contest where scheduled participated by the students. At the afternoon the announcement of winners and at 3:00 pm is the pack up time, and departed from Manaoag National High School. In this Division YES – O Camp, our MPJCL students has many winnings.
