Narrative Report The Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) program of Balibago Primero Integrated School started three years ago. It’s main aim is to monitor waste management and maintain the cleanliness of the school. Its first year and second year implementation is not that successful, but now, it’s importance become well known to all not only for the faculty but also to students as well. This school year program of MRF makes it mark in the history of Balibago Primero Integrated School. The implementation of waste segregation become a part of the system and students participation is obviously rampant comparable to the first implementation of it. Three trash cans become visible in every classroom as support to the program. Each bin labeled as biodegradable, non-biodegradable and plastics. Surroundings become clean and conducive for learning. The MRF program this year started in the month of 23rd of June. And thru the help of Chowking Food Corporation the scarcity of thrash can was answered. The corporation donated more than 30 trash cans to augment the needs of BPIS for waste segregation. The trash can was distributed to all classrooms. The Programs of Waste Management are as follows: 1. Checking of waste management classroom trash cans thru X and / patterns.- Twice a day each classroom will be check if they follow the right segregation of waste. If they don’t they will be marked X and if they do it in the right way they will receive /. Aside from trash cans classroom surroundings will be checked. 2. Awarding of best implementer for the month, teacher and class category.- Each end of the month there will be an awarding of best implementer among teacher and class. The award is based from the highest no. of check in the monitoring list. The teacher will receive a certificate of recognition and a token of thanks. Class awardee will also receive a certificate of recognition and token. 3. Each quarter the recyclable materials such as plastic cups and bottles will be selling to junkshop in coordination with Science Club Organization.
