Since the intro of the song runs until 40 seconds before the lyrics come in, the first 10 seconds will allow for slow, establishing shots of the ‘city scape’. This will include shots of the morning sky to show beginning of the day which will be played in slight fast motion to demonstrate a slow sense of movement. Slow transitions to reflect the slower part of the song. After which, Arnas will be captured to jump on his bike. He will cycle past a group of youths sitting on a step, drinking and pretending to take drugs which Arnas cycles away from. He then cycles past Sonam standing in the store, down the road. The camera swerves into the store and there is a close up shot of Sonam’s hand on the window pane.
AUDIO LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX The music is the introduction of the song. No FX.
The close up shot zooms out to an over the shoulder shot of Sonam. More close up shots will follow to capture Sonam taking off her hoodie, walking slowly to the centre of the room, sitting on the chair and dropping her bag onto the floor. A medium shot will be used to show both Sonam’s back to the camera and her reflection in the mirror.
“When she was just a girl she
Sonam lip syncing to the chorus with a rather melancholy facial expression. Then an extreme close up shot of her eyes in sync with the second line. The camera arcs around her in an act of self-reflection, or rather the audience reflecting on Sonam’s character. A fade transition is used to show Arnas cycling on.

Medium shot of Arnas lip syncing, meanwhile Sonam walks to the mirror. There is a fade to show to show both of them, simultaneously, on the screen. As Sonam walks along the mirrors, flashbacks are shown to depict her past experiences of objectification.

Arnas cycles past a young businessman, Goncalo, getting robbed by the masked gang. This take place in slow motion with a tracking shot. The camera pans up to the sky getting darker – symbolise the nearing of the end of the day, the end of the song, the end of a journey.
“Life gets on, it gets so heavy The wheel breaks the butterfly Every tear a waterfall In the night the stormy night she’ll close her eyes In the night the stormy night away she’d fly” 1:35-1:59 FX slow motion depiction of the robbery No narration.

Medium shots of Sonam picking up a hammer and breaking the mirrors. She runs out of the room, and a transition is used to capture her running through the crowd of people within the market. Cameraperson will be running behind Sonam, either using the SLR camera freehand, or the go-pro to mimic Sonam’s actions. Yet slow-motion will be used to bring a contrast between the action and the viewer.
“And dreams of para-para-paradise Para-para-paradise Para-para-paradise Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh. She’d dream of para-para-paradise Para-paraparadise Para-para-paradise Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh” 2:00-2:27 FX slow motion No narration.

Sonam stops short upon noticing Arnas and his band busking at the corner down Portobello Road. Slow motion is used on them to indicate the instant connection they have all along, with close ups to capture their eye contact.

In between these shots, there will be clips of Arnas’ cycling reversing. The camera move in an arc around Sonam and Arnas, with a clear shot of the block of flats behind to illustrate their working class background. The arc will then transition from them standing in Portobello to being in Piccadilly Circus.
AUDIO LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX “Lalalalalalalalala And so lying underneath those stormy skies She’d say, “oh, ohohohoh I know the sun must set to rise” 2:41- 3:00 FX arc and flashback reverse shots No narration.

Long shots of the band and Sonam lip syncing and dancing casually and almost candidly having fun and enjoying themselves. Close up shots of band members playing instruments and Arnas lip syncing.
“This could be Para-para-paradise Para-ara—paradise Para-para-paradise Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh” 3:01 – 3:41 FX The word “paradise” appearing on the screen No narration.

Capture the evening sky, and the day coming to an end, along with the song slowly coming to an end. Pan the camera down to Sonam and Arnas being the last of their group still within Central London, with a speed up effect of people walking past, yet they are just standing still. The camera itself is still within its long shot, but stands still on the tripod to show Sonam and Arnas wal off screen together. The last scene therefore shows them, with a long shot outside the store, at the end of the day, walking past the store casually, as though not even noticing the shop anymore, arm in arm. The camera zooms in on the door swinging open and shut and open and shut, before it stays, permanently, shut.
“This could be Para-para-paradise Para-para-paradise Para-para-paradise Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh” 3:41-4:20 No FX No narration.
