Size. Murin grow to only 2 to 2 and half feet tall. Your size is Tiny. This means your carrying capacity is halved, but so is the weight of gear sized for you. You must use tiny weapons, armor, and other gear, and have disadvantage on attack rolls with heavy weapons. Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet. Scurry. You do not need to spend extra movement to crawl, and creatures do not gain advantage on attack rolls against you for being prone. Petite. You have proficiency in the Stealth skill, and add double your proficiency bonus to all Dexterity (Stealth) checks you make. Additionally, you have disadvantage on all Charisma (Intimidation) checks you make. Meager. Your size makes your attacks less lethal. Damage dice for weapons sized for you are reduced according to the table: Tiny Weapon Damage. Additionally, your maximum for Strength and Constitution is 16 instead of 20. Murin Action. Your nimbleness allows you to act quicker than others. You can take a murin action on each of your turns in combat, in addition to all other actions. This action can only be used to take the Climb onto a Bigger Creature or Search action, the Dash action to crawl, or any other action you can currently perform with a bonus action. You cannot use both your murin action and bonus action to perform the same action in a single turn. Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Minish. Minish is a brisk, squeaky language. Subrace. There are two known types of murin: mouse murin and rat murin. Choose one of these subraces.
