Multicast protection (1) Fiber cut/path failure The PW/LSP protection will active when fiber cut or path failure are detected. The switch time will be less than 50ms.

(2) Node Failure Each TN705/725 will receive multicast traffic both from primary path and secondly path. If they can not receive the traffic from primary path (direction), (direction) it will switch to secondly path (direction). The switch time will be seconds.

((3)) Source Failure The VRRP is running between two multicast sources (A) and (B). The center site TN705/725’s primary and secondly multicast traffic get from both source (A) and source (B). The traffic will get from (B) instead of source (A) after multicast sources are switched. The rest TN705/725 will not switch. The switch time will be seconds. seconds (VRRP)
