  Crochet A Crochet pattern by Happy C Cactus actus Crochet Materials:: Materials 1) 3.00 mm hook (I use this hook to match my yarn (yarn which recommends recom mends 4-5mm hooks) 2) Worsted Yarn - black, peach, white, turquoise, cream, blue, red, pink, light pink 3) Polyester fiberfill (toy stung) 4) 8 mm safety eyes 5) tapestry needle 6) fabric glue *USE A HOOK SIZE SMALLER THAN RECOMMENDED ON THE YARN* This will help to reduce holes in the amigurumi.

WITH BLUE: Pick up the 6th st along the top edge of the blue dress. Rnd 1: - Ch 13 - Sc in each st along the ch - Sl st in next st along the top of the dr dress ess -

Fasten o and weave in the end

 

WITH  W ITH RED: Pick up the 1st st of the right side strap. Rnd 1: - Sc in each st down the strap, - Sc in each st in between the straps, - Sc in each st up the inside of the other strap. Fasten o and leave the end long.

Wrap the cream layer of the dress (bottom layer) around the doll's waist, with the seam at the back. -

The top of the skirt should be 4 rnds below the colour change from cream to peach.

Using tapestry needl needle e and the tail end, sew up the back connecting the seam.

Weave in the ends.

 

Wrap  W rap the blue layer of the dress (top layer) around the doll, with the seam at the back. -

The top of the dress should be where the colour changes from cream to peach.

-

Using tapestry needl needle e and the tail end, sew up the back connecting the seam.

-

Then sew around the top of the dress into the body of the doll to secure the dress in place. (around (around the top of the blue part)

Weave in the ends.

Pull the straps over the shoulders of the doll. -

Using tapestry needl needle e and the tail end from the strap, sew the ends of the straps to the back of the dress to secure in place.

Weave in the ends.

 

 BELT: BELT: WITH PINK: Ch 46 Rnd 1: 1: starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st along (45) Fasten o and leave the end long.

Wrap the belt around the waist. -

Using tapestry needl needle e and the tail end from the belt, connect the end into the other side (leaving the excess length to hang down).

-

Sew a few sts into the body to secure in place.

Weave in the ends,

 

 H HAIR: AIR: Hair wig part 1: WITH BLACK: Rnd 1: ch 2, sc 6 in second chain from hook (magic circle) (6) Rnd 2: sc 2 in each st around (12) Rnd 3: (sc in next st, sc 2 in next st) around (18) Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 sts, sc 2 in next st) along (24) Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 sts, sc 2 in next st) along (30) Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 sts, sc 2 in next st) along (36) Rnd 7: (sc in next 5 sts, sc 2 in next st) along (42) ** -

Ch 31 Starting in the 3rd ch from the hook: (Hdc in the next st, hdc 2 in the next st) Hdc in the next 3 sts, Sc in each of the remaining sts, Sl st in next st along in the original base Sl st in next st along in the original base

** REPEAT the section between ** - ** 19 more times to make 20 long hair pieces in total. Fasten o and weave in the ends.

Hair wig part 2: WITH BLACK: Rnd 1: ch 2, sc 6 in second chain from hook (magic circle) (6) Rnd 2: sc 2 in each st around (12) -

Ch 26

Starting in the 3rd ch from the hook: - Hdc in each st along - Sl st in next st along in the original base (HAIR STRAND 1) -

Ch 14 Starting in the 3rd ch from the hook: - Hdc in each st along - Sl st in next st along in the original base (HAIR STRAND 2) -

Ch 26 Starting in the 3rd ch from the hook:

- Hdc in each st along - Sl st in next st along in the original base (HAIR STRAND 3)

HAIR WIG SHOULD BE APPLIED WRONG SIDE UP UP.. Pin the hair wig part 1 onto the top of the head

Rnd 1 of the hair wig (part 1) should be on the centre of the top of the head. The first hair strand and last hair strand should be on either side of the face. (there is a small gap of a couple of sts between the 1st & last hair strand that should be at the top of the forehead) Pin down each hair strand side by side around the head. Hair strands should be glued from the top of the head and down the strand until in line with the eyes, the rest of the hair strand can fall freely.

Remove one hair strand at a time, apply fabric glue to the hair strand, and pin it back in place on the head. -

Keep the hair pinned in place until the glue is completely dry!

 

 HAIR WIG SHOULD BE APPLIED WRONG SIDE UP HAIR UP.. Pin the hair wig part 2 onto the top of the head

Pin down each hair strand, starting with the short hair strands in the middle of the forehead. (strand 2) Leave Leav e the hair strands either side of the short strand loose (strands 1 & 3)

Pin the rest of the hair strands (strands 4 12) spread around the head. Hair strands should be glued from the top of the head and down the strand until in line with the top of the eyebrows, the rest of the hair strand can fall freely.

Remove one hair strand at a time, apply fabric glue to the hair strand, and pin it back in place on the head. -

Keep the hair pinned in place until the glue is completely dry!

FLOWER:: FLOWER WITH PINK: Rnd 1: ch 2, sc 6 in second chain from hook (magic circle) (6) COLOR COL OR CHANGE TO LIGHT PINK: Rnd 2: - Ch 3, - sc in each st along the ch sts (2) - Sl st in next st along the original circl circle. e. REPEAT in each st around the original circle to make 6 petals in total.

Apply fabric glue and pin in place of the side of the hair. -

Keep the flower pinned in place until the glue is completely dry!
