is mobile ad hoc network?

A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) sometimes called a mobile mesh network , is a self  configuring network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. No need for existing infrastructure. Nodes are mobile topology can be very dynamic. Nodes must be able to relay traffic since communicating nodes may be out of range.

Each device in a MANET is free to move independently in any direction, and will therefore change its links to other devices frequently.
