a Out of Ain Sof, the Father of All, emerge three universal principles. They are represented by the three Mother letters: Alef, Maym, and Shin, and by the three sefirot: Keter, Hockmah, and Binah. The Mother gives birth to the Son. In other words, the three Mother letters combine to produce the seven Double letters, and the seven sefirot: Da’at, Hesed, Geburah, Tifaret, Netzah, Hod, and Yesod. The seven Double letters represent seven faculties of Consciousness. Their combinations produce the Daughter as represented by the twelve Simple letters. The path of Shin extends between Yesod and Tifaret. Its evolutionary and creative influences permeate the four lower Double letter sefirot.

The path of Maym extends between Tifaret and Da’at. Its evolutionary and creative influences permeate the four higher Double letter sefirot.

The influence of Elemental Water is strong in the higher spheres of Day, but in the lower spheres of Night elemental Fire dominates. In the Night-time Mankind walks the path of elemental Fire, but then the Day-time dawns and the influence of elemental Water becomes stronger. He is then able to mitigate and control elemental Fire by drawing upon elemental Water.

Mankind is formed from the seven spheres. The elements are contained within them. Mankind is pulled between elemental Water and Fire. He must balance Fire and Water on the middle pillar and raise his consciousness to the Crown chakra.

The seven spheres combine in twelve conformations to produce the twelve boundaries of the universe. These are the twelve meridians that hold and contain the consciousness of Mankind within their matrix.

The twelve Simple letters combine together to conform the sefirah Malkut. Together they represent the basic framework of the Universe. They are associated with the Daughter, or Shekinah principle.
