Overview
Ceiba is the PC software which is used to manage the video files in LAN network after the vehicle is parking in the parking lot. The main features for this software include:
1)
Playback and analyze the video files (the regular files and the event files)
2)
Event file filtering function
3)
Remote and local playback
4)
Clip the video files
Ceiba will be a integrated software combining the playback, video analysis, live view, video download functions together. Currently we just realize the first step for playback. This manual explaining the playback and video analysis function only.
There are two packages of the Ceiba software: server and client. Server is used to get the vehicle online information, and client is for user to operate the MDVR.

For local playback you can please install client only. But for remote playback, Ceiba server must be installed.

Playback mode. Currently the Ceiba supports playback function only.

Ceiba supports 3 different ways for video file playback. The first one is local playback. Please just take out the MDVR removable hard disk case (or SD card) and connect it with PC directly by the USB port (or insert the SD card to the card reader). In this situation please select hard disk icon to playback the video file. For this mode you get the video files from the external hard disk or SD card for playback directly.

If you connect the hard disk or SD card to the PC and download the video files to PC already. In this situation you get the files from the PC directly, please select the directory icon for playback. 7

If you connected a hard disk or SD card to the PC, after you run this software, you will see the hard disk list at top left. left. If you you can can’t ’t see see the the list, list, plea please se click click

After you get the hard disk list, please double click the sub icon for the vehicle vehicle number. number. For example in the below photo, you double click 6686 (6686 is the vehicle number), it will pop up the record file calendar as the picture, GREEN means the day has normal record files. RED means the day has alarm record files.

if you click the date with green color, the system will pop up the channels that you need to select for playback.
Select the channel to playback.

After you select the channel and click OK, the system will playback the video files automatically.

When you double double click the vehicle number, number, it will pop up the calendar, and click the date, you will find the file list on the date at the left bottom in the interface.

When click some date in the calendar. If the date is valid with video files, the time bar will turn to green to show the period for the video files.

Drag the bar to point different time to get the corresponding video files and metadata information, GPS location.

Drag the zoom bar to zoom in or zoom out the time scale. (Exact to each second)

This part main display the real GPS GPS location and GPS tracking tracking line when playback playback the video files. The Ceiba can support support different map style including Map, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain. Terrain.

Vide deo o Clip Clip
When you clip the video file, it will clip the corresponding black box data and log file as well, and will save all the data in the same storage path. When you start to clip, the video playback will stop, and click the clip icon to enter into the clip interface. Please click the video clip icon and then click the icon

In this interface, you can setup the start time and end time of the video you want to clip, you can also choose the channel for clip and save path for clip storing. CLIP means just clip the video only. EXPORT means it will export the Miniplayer and package as a .exe file. You can playback this exe file directly by Streaming Mini Player which is a very simple player and no need installation.

Maybe there is another situation, if the video has been clipped before, you will get a message as follow.

LAN. For WIFI WIFI connection, the precondition is the MDVR should be with WIFI module inside. For remote playback you must setup the Ceiba server and setup the network parameter on the MDVR GUI as well.

Double click the install program CeibaServer.exe to install the server, and you will get the interface as follow:
Complete: install the server to default C:\ drive, Custom: user defines the installation path and choose server to setup Complete is recommended. recommended. Click on Next, and please setup the server LAN IP in the following picture:

Till now, the installation is finished, and the green icon
in front of each server in the above picture shows this server is 20

Click the Device Icon the tool icon on the Ceiba Client interface, then the Message Server Interface will pop up as follow:
IP is the IP address for the Ceiba Server, the port is the register port of message server, after setup, save it, and then presses the refresh button, it will search and display all the online devices in message server, as follow:

Right click the online vehicle, you can choose remote upgrade to upgrade the firmware for this device remotely, the step is as follow:
Remark: if the MDVR is offline, you can’t get the setup menu interface. Remote firmware is not recommend by ma manuf nufac actu ture rerr. Mea Meanwh nwhil ilee pl pleas easee ma make ke su sure re th that at th thee MDV MDVR R is pow powrr su supp ppli lied ed du duri ring ng th thee up upgr gradi ading ng otherwise the MDVR FLASH can be burned easily.

Choose the firmware file that you are going to upgrade, please make sure the version you want to upgrade is newer than the one in MDVR.
If transmitted success, you will get the information as above, it will take several minutes.
2) Remote configuration
Right click the online vehicle, you can choose remote config to setup all the parameter of this device remotely, the steps is as follow:
You can choose remote remote settings to connect connect to MDVR, if connect success, success, you will will get as interface interface as follow, follow, the ID and password is the one when you log in MDVR.

Type in the unit ID and password, you will get the interface as follow:
The remote configuration interface is very similar as the MDVR GUI, you can do all the setting for MDVR here, when you finished finished the the modifi modificati cation, on, please please click click save save and apply apply button button to active active the modifica modifications tions,, if you don’t don’t click click apply apply,, all the the configuration configuration won’t be active.
