Matlab Installation Instructions    

Submit an Interdepartmental Requisition to Software Licensing with your Computer Name. Get the installation key and license file from Software Licensing Insert the Matlab DVD Click “Run setup.exe”

When the Screen changes and asks “Do you want the following program to make changes to your computer?” Click “Yes” The Matlab Installer will take some time to copy the files to your computer and start the Installer. Select “Use a File Installation Key”



Select “Yes” and click “Next”



Select “I have the File Installation Key for my license:” and enter the following key and click “Next”



Choose where you want Matlab to be installed and click “Next”



Select the products and toolboxes you want to install.



Provide the location of the “license.dat” file that was downloaded from http://its.fsu.edu/Software/SoftwareLicensing/Mathworks-MATLAB.



Select where you want the shortcuts to be added.



Click “Install”



Click “Finish”
