Notes • NACE & TRRC guidelines for H2S state that a partial pressure of 0.05 psi is considered sour gas . • This corrosion calculator is intended to be used as a tool to help determine corrosive affects, and is not absolute • Several additional factors influence corrosion aggressiveness; including total system pressure, pH of the aqueous phase ,Temperature, chloride ion phase, etc. These conditions should be taken into account. • Halliburton reserves the right to change corrosive cutoffs at any time. • Current partial pressure cutoff levels for H2S are 0.05 psi for cable surcharges and 0.20 psi for MP35N • Current partial pressure cutoff levels for CO2 are 14 psi for cable surcharges and 60 psi for MP35N
