Analysis of horoscopes: The astrologer has seen the lagna and Rasi of both boy and girl. They are situated as “SAMASAPTHAMAM” and immediately, the astrologer must have told the parents/elders of the boy and girl that there is a compatibility based on the dictum that if the rasi of both boy and girl fall in Samasapthaman, there is no more need to verify the compatibility. But the horoscopes have the following: 1. In girl’s horoscope, Saturn is placed in 7th (Saturn here vargottama also). We have to select a horoscope of boy having similar dosha in his horoscope. Here, Girl’s dosha is more than the boy 2. In Girl’s horoscope, the lord of ascendant/lagna is Jupiter. In boy’s chart the lord of ascendant/ lagna is Mercury. Jupiter and Mercury are enemies. How then they will behave as husband and wife? 3. In Girl’s horoscope both Jupiter (Lagna lord) and Mercury (7th lord) are placed in 8th and in Navamsa Jupiter is placed in Taurus and Mercury is placed in Libra (6/8 position). 4. The placement in sashtaashtakam in Navamsa is only anukula sashatashashtakam, the rasiathipathi in Navamsa for both boy and girl are Mercury and Mars. Both Mercury and Mars are enemies. 5. In Girl’s horoscope, the 7th lord Mercury is in 8th indicating troubles in married life 6. In Boy’s horoscope, the 5th lord Saturn is placed in 12th in Leo. This is a weak placement and thus indicating the troubles in sexual life. There is also difficulty in progeny as 5th lord is weak and putra karaka is placed in enemy’s camp 7. If we check in another angle in the boy’s horoscope, the 5th lord is placed in 8th from 5th bhava(Putra bhava) indicating troubles in progeny. 8. Kalatrakaraka Venus is placed in Libra in Girl’s horoscope. This position is 8th from Lagna. In boy’s horoscope the kalatrakaraka Venus is placed in Scorpio in 3rd. The better placement for Venus is either kendra or kona in individual horoscope. 9. Numerology take: Date of Girl 28 (1) and Date of boy ¾ (4) and they are incompatible. In the end, the girl went back to her parents’ place and had to go in for divorce.
