WHAT RISKS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SHIPPING.

Risks in shipping may be classified into five categories: Technical risks – those that attach to the ship herself and its equipment on board.  Financial risks - These are usually imposed by method of financing projects particularly acquisitions, ratio of equity capital to borrowed funds (capital gearing).
