B. Establishing A Purpose For The Lesson

The teacher will show a video entitle “TV Patrol: Pagtaas ng kaso ng teenage pregnancy”, the video will show the cause and effect of pregnancy in the Philippines.



 Ask the following questions: What was your reaction to the video? What could be the reason for the rising cases of teenage pregnancy? What could be the solution to this issue? (15 min) 





(5 min)  Ask the students to read the story entitled “The Lady or the Tiger?,”  a story about a king who has a peculiar method of putting criminals on trial. They’re placed in an arena and allowed to pick between two doors. Behind one is a beautiful woman; behind the other, a hungry tiger.  After they read the story, ask the following questions: What was your reaction after you read the story? Was the king  just or abusive with such way of punishing the criminals? What was the moral of the 
