Doc. No. 87-IOM-PS-1201 KJP Doc. No. S-087-1283-001 Rev. 6A Sheet No. 4 of 21

INTRODUCTION The Waste Water Treatment/Disposal System (Unit 087) and Sanitary Waste Treatment System (Unit 085) are provided to ensure that any liquid effluent leaving the plant will comply with the effluent standards. A segregated drain system is provided for the plant in order to separate the liquid effluent into non-contaminated and contaminated sources. For contaminated liquid effluent the segregation is further accomplished in the plant complex according to their contaminant characteristics.

2.

BASIS OF DESIGN

2.1

General The segregated waste water drainage system for Unit 087 Waste Water Treatment in the plant complex can be categorized as follows: -

Non-Contaminated/clean water sewer

-

Oily waste water sewer

-

Chemical contaminated waste water sewer

Sanitary Waste Treatment System (Unit 085) has a treatment capacity for total number of 340 persons into account. This capacity includes generated sanitary waste from the community area, administration area, upstream operation support area, etc. besides the sanitary waste from the plant area. 2.2

Design Condition Final water discharge requirements to sea (sample point 090-SCA-1002) specified in Project Design Data (900-DBS-EM-0001) are summarized below. Physical Temperature

45oC

Suspended Solid
