The Vuvuzela, Sunway Lagoon’s latest attraction and the world’s largest water ride, is a sight to behold, as it occupies 3,360m (three times of the size of an Olympic standard swimming pool) of the water park. From a launch tower an incredible eleven storeys (30m) high, the Vuvuzela plunges you through a ride that spans 152m, designed to resemble riding rapids on a turbulent river, before mercilessly plummeting you into the world’s largest water funnel, 22m in diameter which also sits 4m above the ground. The Vuvuzela entered the Malaysia Book of Records in 2013 as the Biggest Water Ride in Malaysia.  French-St  F rench-Style yle Village  Village  Fancy going to a quaint French-style village without having to leave Malaysia? Head for Colmar Tropicale at the Berjaya Hills, a new hill destination in Pahang with a variety of unique themed attractions. As the car goes up the mountain road to about 2,600 feet, you can catch the 󿬁rst glimpse of Colmar Tropicale nestling among the green pine trees, looking like a castle from a storybook. Monsopiad Cultural Village

 Exotic Kadazan Culture  Some 300 years ago, in a village in Penampang, Sabah, there lived a great Kadazan warrior named Monsopiad. So great was his power that no enemy could defeat him. During his lifetime, in order to protect his village, Monsopiad took the heads of 42 enemies.

Today, the 6th and 7th generation descendants of Monsopiad still live on their ancestral land by the scenic Moyog River. And in memory of the great Monsopiad, they have built the Monsopiad Cultural Village, Village, a fascinating authentic showcase of  the rich and ancient culture of the Kadazans that goes back a long time in history history.. The Kadazans are part of the Kadazandusun community, the biggest ethnic group in Sabah. The Monsopiad Cultural Village has been built with traditional materials used by the Kadazandusun people for centuries, such as jungle logs, palm leaves and bamboo. After a warm greeting by your Kadazan host at the entrance to Monsopiad Cultural Village and a welcome drink of ‘tapai’ (rice-wine), you can see the various daily activities in a Kadazan village. Here, everyone wears the traditional black Kadazan attire. A big attraction is the replica of Monsopiad’s house, sitting sitting on the original site, and raised off the ground. You climb up a log with steps cut into it to reach the bamboo landing before entering the spacious house. The Penan Hut is very small and simple, as Penans are nomadic people who live in the dense virgin forests of Central Borneo. They Th ey use the blowpipe for hunting, hunt ing, and a Penan warrior would be happy to show you how to make a blowpipe, all by hand, and shoot with it. The Penans are also very skilful at making decorations from soft wood. The Kayan, the Kenyah, the Kelabit, the Lun Bawang and the other minor tribes of Sarawak are known as the Orang Ulu. The Melanau people traditionally lived near the sea and as a means to protect themselves from the pirates, their houses are built 40 feet above the ground! At the Melanau Tall House, you need to climb up a long ladder to enter the wooden house. Outside Outside the house is a Melanau carved totem pole, traditionally used to bury the village village headmen. In a small house, a Melanau lady is demonstrating the art of making sago pearls and crispy sago biscuits, from grating the sago palm trunk to roasting the 󿬁nished product. The Chinese farmhouse is a simple wooden house built on the ground with trodden earth for a 󿬂oor, whitewashed plank  walls and a thatched 'attap' roof.The interior consists of an open kitchen, dining and living sections, and a storage area for valuables such as bicycles or agricultural machinery as well as sectioned-off bedrooms.The household shrine is a focal point in the living area, while while the doorpost is often pasted with pieces of red paper bearing auspicious words to bring luck to or divine protection for the family. Outside the house is a pepper garden, one of Sarawak's signature crops.

The traditional Malay house is a wooden house built on stilts. The windows are cut down to 󿬂oor level for maximum ventilation, allowing cool breeze into the house. High artistic skills can be witnessed in the beautifully-decora beautifully-decorated ted stairs and window railings, fascia boards under the eaves and the ventilation grills above or beside doorways. You can join in the many traditional Malay games being demonstrated here, including 'gasing' and 'congkak'.

After exploring the houses in Sarawak Cultural Village, sit back  and enjoy dance performances of the tribes in the air air-conditioned theatre. Among them is the spectacular Iban Ngajat Lesong, where where an Iban warrior demonstrates the extraordinary strength of his teeth by dancing with a 20kg mortar clamped in this mouth.
