Dack Fayden, Planeswalker thief, has stolen a valuable artifact from Ravnica, the Ancient Fang. Using his abilities to learn the artifact's secrets, instead he witnesses the destruction of his hometown through the eyes of the villain that committed the act: Sifa Grent. Dack sets out to track her down at her next destination: Innistrad. In Innistrad, Dack confronts Sifa, but allows her to slip away at the last moment. He follows her trail and finds himself in front of an enormous castle. Inside, he discovers hundreds of objects, artifacts and imprisoned creatures within enormous rooms. The Titan who owns the castle traps Dack, adding him to the collection… but Dack manages to distract the Titan long enough to escape this plane. Now, it seems Dack has lost Sifa's trail again, as he ends up back in his ruined hometown...
