Luther Jensen was born in Washington Pennsylvania on Aug. 16 1900. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister, all currently deceased. Luther went to Washington and Jefferson College where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi and graduated in 1922. From 1922 until 1931 he is largely unaccounted for. In 1931 he resurfaces as working for George E. Liggett and Associates and married to Lavetta of West Virginia (The couple would have no children.) In 1931 he opened the “Kansas City Bureau of Economic Research.” Individuals that had come across Jensen at this time stated that he lived quite well off. In interviews with surviving close friends and family it was learned that the Bureau of Economic Research had a very wealthy, yet unknown client. From the Bureau which lasted over 25 years only 48 pgs were published under the name “Which Way?” This, from a prolific writer. Gann died in 1955 and The Bureau of Economic Research soon closed its doors. From 1957 until his retirement in 1971 Jensen worked for the B.C. Christopher and Co. of New York. Lavetta Jensen was born in 1901 and died in 1997 at the age of 96. Lavetta was switched sadly from nursing home to nursing home while her funds dried up by a man of questionable character and underworld ties. Jensens book “Astro-Cycles and Speculative Markets” was Copyrighted in 1978 and transferred to Lavetta upon his death. Lavetta, not having the mind for such matters transferred it to Jensens brother now deceased. Throughout the investigation, the investigator maintained that Jensen was not a trader himself, but the brains behind larger operations…this began to come though in personal interviews with those who know Jensen. Date of Birth.
