Overview (Company) Monde Nissin Corporation is a Philippine-based company that manufactures noodles, biscuits, packaged baked goods, culinary aids under brand Lucky Me!, Nissin, Voice, Bingo, and Monde. It was originally incorporated as Monde Denmark Nissin Biscuit Corporation in 1979, it started manufacturing biscuits in 1980. Monde Nissin place high regard in consumer’s holistic well-being in line with their mission to uplift the lives of people they serve. Monde Nissin launched the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga (Family Mealtime Matters) advocacy which aims to encourage families to gather during dinner and share meaningful conversations over meals. Studies showed that children who share mealtime with their families are less likely to get into illegal substances, vices, alcohol, tobacco. They also created the Pack and Play Program to help parents in guiding their children towards holistic wellness. Through physically engaging activities and fun lessons, children learn about proper exercises, right conduct and good habits. Monde Nissin also opened the doors of its Lucky Me! Noodle Factory to welcome kids and kids-at-heart who are eager to learn how instant noodles are made. They also recognize the significance of building human resource in paving the way for growth and development of the nation. The company has tied up with GMA Kapuso Foundation, ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, and the Philippine Red Cross to bring relief goods to families affected by typhoons. They also values water as a basic need, ensuring the efficient usage of water in all areas of production and maintains zero wastewater discharge by using 100% of its wastewater for auxiliary purposes such as gardening and toilet facilities. The company also ensures efficient use of energy resources in its manufacturing operations. Target Market (Company) The target market of the company is the upper and lower class C and D, ages 4-60 years old because we can see that Monde Nissin’s product does not only caters for young adults and adults but also for kids specifically the biscuits for “baon” or “meryenda” and also because we can see in the company’s advertisement of their products including the packages that its goal is to provide food that affordable for the consumers. Objective (Company) Lucky Me was launched in 1989 and was enjoyed almost every Filipino family. People’s love for the brand developed through the years and Lucky Me! has always been understanding and responsive to its valued consumers through continuous innovations in its products.
