DELTAMCSENABLED MO Parameter ID Parameter Name NE MML Command
CellUlPcDedic DeltaMcsEnabled DELTAMCSENABLED eNodeB LST CELLULPCDEDIC MOD CELLULPCDEDIC
Meaning
Indicates whether the transmit power of the UE is adjusted according to the difference between MCSs. indication is contained in an RRC message signaled to the UE. In the message, this indication occupies one bit. The value 0, which means disabled, indicates that ΔTF is equal to 0 because Ks is equal to 0. The value 1, which means enabled, indicates that ΔTF is calculated on the condition that Ks is equal to 1.25.

Not involved None The parameter modification has no impact on the equipment. When Ks is equal to 0, the transmit power can be adjusted according to only closed-loop TPC commands. When Ks is equal to 1.25, the transmit power can be adjusted by means of selecting different
MCSs during scheduling. This helps the UE to quickly adapt to changes in channel conditions and increases the cell throughput. Introduced in Version... Attribute

HighestMode MO Parameter ID
PDCPROHCPara HighestMode
Parameter Name NE MML Command
HighestMode eNodeB LST PDCPROHCPARA MOD PDCPROHCPARA
Meaning
Indicates the highest mode of ROHC operation. In Unidirectional Mode (U-mode), packets are sent in one direction only (that is, from the compressor to the decompressor), and a feedback channel from the decompressor to the compressor is undesirable. Therefore, the Umode provides the lowest reliability but also the lowest feedback overhead, compared with the other two modes. In Bi-directional Optimistic Mode (O-mode), the decompressor sends the compressor the feedback, which indicates errors or context synchronization successes. Therefore, the O-mode provides higher reliability than the Umode but causes a lower amount of feedback information than the R-mode. In Bi-Directional Reliable Mode (R-mode), the reliability of context synchronization between the compressor and the decompressor is higher than that in any other mode; however, because of frequent feedback, the Rmode causes the greatest link overhead.

Profiles define the header compression protocols (such as RTP/UDP/IP or TCP/IP), which are under the same ROHC framework, for specific types of packet streams. Each profile has a unique identifier. As defined by LTE specifications, the eNodeB supports the following profiles: profile 0x0001 (usage: RTP/UDP/IP; reference: RFC 3095 and RFC 4815), profile 0x0002 (usage: UDP/IP; reference: RFC 3095 and RFC 4815), profile 0x0003 (usage: ESP/IP; reference: RFC 3095 and RFC 4815), and profile 0x0004 (usage: IP; reference: RFC 3843 and RFC 4815).

1) Coverage: If the value of ReferenceSignalPwr is too large, crosscoverage occurs. This causes interference to other cells. If the value of ReferenceSignalPwr is too small, coverage holes appear. 2) Interference: The setting of ReferenceSignalPwr varies depending on the interference from neighboring cells. A large interference margin is required where the interference is strong. 3) Channel estimation: A larger value of ReferenceSignalPwr leads to higher channel estimation accuracy, a lower demodulation threshold, and higher receiver sensitivity, but it causes stronger interference to neighboring cells. 4) Capacity: A larger value of ReferenceSignalPwr brings better coverage, but a large value limits the power used for data transmission and hence decreases the system capacity. Set ReferenceSignalPwr appropriately to ensure a reasonable tradeoff between coverage and capacity, effective channel estimation, and appropriate interference control.
