It is not intended to be used as an alternative to referencing or using this this edition of the LPC Rules. The FPA makes no guarantee, representation or warranty (express (express or implied) as to the accuracy or completeness of any information and advice contained in this summary. All advice is given on the basis of information, knowledge and technology as at the date of this summary. Use or reliance upon this summary is at a t the users own risk.

National foreword The national foreword has been revised and references are made to the special requirements for life safety. The UK normal practice of reserving sprinkler system water supplies solely for the sprinkler system is referred to and it should be assumed that this reference in the national foreword relates to the Note at 9.6.4, although this is not stated We recommended that LPC rules users read the National foreword.

TB203. 3.2.2 Review of hazard (Quarterly) The Technical Bulletin specifies that the quarterly review of hazard should be undertaken by one of the following procedures: • An inspection by a competent person for example an engineer from a sprinkler servicing contractor; or • By the sprinkler system user submitting a return to the sprinkler contractor detailing any changes A list of items to check during the review of hazard is given in the TB, see below:
