Objectives:
Presentation: T gives list of difficult words.
students will be able to: 1. Understand the theme of the story and relate it with life 2. Identify different components of a short story 3. Write answers for the questions given at the end of the reading
T asks questions about the title of the story. T asks Ss to read the story, giving turn to different students. T translates and explains the story sentence by sentence .
Warm up: T asks about previous assignment. Disusses one or two of them randomly. Asks students to compare and contrast their narratives with the story/account to be read in the class.

Guided Practice:
1. T divides the class into groups of 4’s or 5’s and providing them handout 1(story analysis chart), asks them to complete it.
T gives short oral hints for the questions and Ss provide the details of the answers.

T makes Ss pronounce the mispronounced words correctly.
Assignment/ Free Practice Ss are assigned the task to write answers for the questions given at the end of lesson. Notes & Comments
