Objective Understanding human dynamics and how to lead as well as implement change are critical to the sustained success of any organization. With over 15 years experience in both the individual contributor and leadership roles, I bring a unique perspective to my work environment. It is my desire to work with a team and take that team and its organization to the next level of success through constructing a comprehensive and interlocking set of developmental tools and technologies.

Developed and implemented a New-to-Role Leadership On-boarding program to assist new leaders in assimilating to the resources and culture of the organization Facilitated On-boarding for all new Team Members Took over a Basic Management Series and enhanced it by shifting from one that was information heavy to one that was more learner-centric with more interactivity and real life interactions Partnered with leaders in the TQM department to help them identify a gap that had caused their program to stall and how to incorporate a Change Management Strategy alongside the LEAN Management tools they were using
L&D Consultant, State Farm Insurance
March 2003-December2014
Developed and delivered two concurrent high potential programs that exposed developmental needs on the part of participants and then helped create developmental plans to close the gaps. As a result, between 20-25% of participants went on to greater developmental opportunities Designed and facilitated numerous simulations dealing with critical thinking, communication strategy and decision-making. These simulations were not only well received, they served to help leaders see how they were involved in creating the very situations they were asking me to resolve, thus opening the opportunity for them to change how they approached the situation Designed and facilitated a six month program based on the book, ‘The Five Dysfunctions of a Team”. This program created the tools and space for participants to open up to the leaders and discuss, in a safe environment, the concerns they had regarding the low trust environment. As a result, the team was able to address and move beyond their trust issues and move towards a more accountable environment
