Mabuhay! Thank you for considering the Games of our Heritage and Magna Kultura Foundation as possible organizer for your sports fest. Attached herewith is our Palarong Pinoy Mini-Olympics sports fest plan. Our Palarong Pinoy games are conducted like real Mini-Olympic tournaments, featuring popular Traditional Filipino Street Games like Patintero, Luksong Lubid, Luksong Tinik, Luksong Baka, Sipang Bilangan, and other fun games that are bundled into relay races and ball games that will surely challenge team competition.

Our Palarong Pinoy Mini-Olympics Sports Fest is organized with a tournament system, game flow procedures, game mechanics and tournament rules for every game; with referees, scorers, timers, tabulators; supplied with all game materials and field ground markers; along with team line-up registration forms. The event includes program scripting and emcee hosting, with live annotation of the game action during the games. The Organizing Packages is found on Page 14. The range of packages is pegged on the logistic arrangements: like the number of players, which dictates the quantity game materials and other details. All packages include the facilitators fees for referees, table officials, secretariat and administrative services. The rate card is net inclusive of taxes. Not included in the organizing packages are add-on costs: like winner's prizes, venue rental fee, sound system, and food catering. Over a thousand companies have already conducted Magna Kultura’s Larong Pinoy Sports Fests. Magna Kultura organizes everything, hassle-free on the event day; so that the HRD & sports committee can sit back, relax, and play with the rest of the members. Magna Kultura Foundation is the national organizer of the Games of our Heritage, an NGO that has been advocating the revival of Filipino Games in our country since the 1990s; and the only organization with a Larong Pinoy Sports Clinic. Since Y2008, private organizations started calling the Foundation to conduct the games as a teambuilding sports fest activity among adults. We hope that Magna Kultura could contribute to the organizational camaraderie of your members through this activity, and that we may be able to deliver a one-of-a-kind sports fest event for your organization. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed inquiry. Looking forward to meet you one of these days. Thank you very much.

The following presents a proposal for the company to launch a Sports Fest that will engage staff/employees in a team building activity using Traditional Filipino Street Games as platform.

TEAM BUILDING DYNAMICS Team building is more than just dragging employees to the usual basketball intramurals or having someone give them a lecture on why it’s important to work together. People learn best when they’re moving around, interacting, and working together on fun challenges. There's more than one way to improve the level of employee engagement in a company. Using Larong Pinoy is a unique platform to engage employees, creating youthful energy and fun community atmosphere at the workplace. It triggers sharing of personal experiences and insights that leads to intimate bonding.

PINOY FUN OLYMPICS Since the 1980’s there have been many new ideas and

innovative games. Since Y2008, many companies have opted to launch sports fest using the Traditional Filipino Street Games. With Larong Pinoy, we make employees THINK FILIPINO.

The selection of Pinoy Games as a Sports Fest Activity is intended to involve employees into doing an alternative event instead of the usual western sports, to make the company affair fun and truly Filipino. It is a fact that only a few employees get to play in the usual sports like basketball, volleyball, or other western sports; with Larong Pinoy everybody can play --- from executives, to staff, to clerks, to general service employees. It’s a game everybody knows. It’s a game everyone can enjoy --- even the non-sporty type.

A Pinoy Mini-Olympics Sports Fest will challenge employees & staff to blend team building goals with fun game activities to create warm camaraderie.

With Larong Pinoy Olympics, team bonding is becomes natural among employees, internally at the office even before the day of the event. Internally at the Office  It will get each and every employee talking about the games, reviewing what they know, and definitely remembering their childhood memories. It will “bring-out the child” in everyone when they relate to one another, making the office alive.  It will trigger individual exploration, making young people consult elderly employees who are knowledgeable about the games. It is a light and fun bridge for office bonding.  And, it will trigger CommuniTeam bonding as they practice the games together.

Playing at the Field  The Pinoy Games are definitely out-of-the-ordinary (than the usual basketball or track racing). Even non-players will have the fun of watching co-employees execute compete in the games.  Total team bonding, cooperation and fun-filled discipline will naturally flow amongst all participants.  Pinoy Games leaves no physical hurt or emotional feelings (unlike rough sports like basketball), because it’s all child-like fun games and thrills that are so Pinoy.

A Pinoy sports fest will impart a youthful and unforgettable experience among employees. The youthful atmosphere that it creates will make them feel as if they all grew up together. Aside from CommuniTeam Building, it builds employee relationships . SA LARONG PINOY, NAGIGING MAGKABABATA ANG BAWAT ISA

THE ADVANTAGES OF A LARONG PINOY SPORTSFEST  Palarong Pinoy Mini-Olympics is a one-of-a-kind event activity that will surely be the “talk-ofthe-office” ; everyone will re-live their childhood memories and discuss with fellow-employees. It’s one-of-a-kind. It breathes youthfulness among employees. It bonds the young and old.  Unlike the usual sports (like basketball or volleyball), with Larong Pinoy almost everyone could play; even non-players could cheerfully participate, actively cheering & jeering at the sidelines.  It takes less days and organizing expense than conducting a basketball tournament, considering that honoraria for basketball referees is P500.00 per game --- not to mention that there are two referees and two more table officials --- so officiating cost per game averages P2,000.00, excluding venue fee per hour --- multiplied by the number of games in Round Robin matches that could take many days (weeks) of games. Sometimes other employees don’t attend games.

Larong Pinoy is the Game of our Heritage. A truly Filipino company can make a difference among their employees and in the business community

Outsourcing the Sports Fest for A Hassle-Free Company Event Organizing a company event could be a tedious task for internal organizers. While it will be fun for employees playing in the event, it can be exhausting for the HRD and/or Sport fest Committee, “robbing” them of the fun that they to should be enjoying. It’s all about CREATING IMPACT in the lives of employees and letting them feel the Value of the company they work for. The advantage of having a professionally organized corporate event are:  It takes away from employees the hassle of organizing and coordinating everything. It will let the staff just do more productive work for the company while the event gets organized properly.  It ensures for a more professional conduct of an event with an “Olympic”-like atmosphere, letting employees partake in an event that is professionally organized.

The conduct of the program is more professional --- it’s like a real “Olympics”! And employees would definitely feel like being a part of what seems like a “big” event. And every employee would credit the company’s effort for giving them the best that they deserve.  Employees would see the difference of a professionally organized event: with all the tournament system and format; with the all the game marshals, materials and ground set-up.  The impact that it creates will surely be credited to the company’s image of putting value in the corporate team bonding activity. Instead of having criticism for a poorly organized affair, it makes each and every employee value the presence of the company in their lives.

IT’S AN EVENT THAT HAPPENS ONLY ONCE-A-YEAR. A WELL ORGANIZED COMPANY EVENT WILL GIVE MORE LASTING MEMORIES THAT WILL IMPACT COMPANY LOYALTY OF EVERY EMPLOYEE. IT’S ALL ABOUT GIVING THE STAFF & EMPLOYEES THE BREAK THAT THEY DESERVE.
