an accordion has a keyboard and a chordboard and both can occupy a same pitch simultaneously, i've drafted this arrangement to allow these collisions on the piano. I've seen videos where the player simply plays the right-hand an octave higher, but this, in my opinion, is a band aid and takes away from the tenor voice - especially in the beginning. Ossia has been included only where the 'bells' part can be additionally played by the right-hand without too much difficulty. Regarding the left hand, the second note of a two note slur is always shortened, but i've made it stacatto only to get Sibelius (the program i used to draft this) to play it so. As far as a piano score is concerned, this is considered redunant and should be ignored.
