Greetings on this 7th anniversary of the first KP E-Magazine "KPEZine" Dear Readers, KPEzine publication has completed 6 year and is now entering into the 7th year. During these six years we have got lots of thanks, love and blessing from the KP community and we are very grateful for their support. During this period graph of our activities has moved only upward. We are the only one, world first free KP astrological e-magazine; we are first who started free daily Pechanga for every year; we are first who started to provide free software on KP; we are only one who publishes only and only KP based articles. We only have editorial board that check the entire articles in order to avoid any inconsistency or incorrectness in analysis. Although we are trying our best to propagate KP, it is unfortunate that some are targeting us in some places for unknown reasons. But we don’t have any problem with this kind of activity. We are here to publish the valuable articles in KP, not to criticize others, and so we never reply any one or we never publish any reader’s view which criticize other. Let them do their work and we will do our job for the sake of KP. Many ask why don’t I publish editorial each month? I am sure there are many astrologers who haven’t explored this area. Another idea is to identify senior KP astrologers who have interacted with KSK or have been active during his time, and then write about them (along with photograph) or interview them in each issue. Discharge from hospital By Arvind Gupta [email protected]

The use of RPs and transit of the Ascendant and the luminaries to arrive at an accurate timing of an event is critical to the system of KP. The process of horoscope analysis, both natal and horary, starts with an assurance that the event in question is, first and foremost, promised and that it will occur. This is done by an examination of the main house concerned and its significations of other related houses. The significators of the matter under study are then worked out. Dasas are then analysed to see the broad range of timing when the event is expected to manifest. RPs allow selection of the most powerful significators that will bring the event to fruition. Transits, finally, permit pin-pointing the time of the event. Each stage in the analytical process requires a fair degree of judgment on the part of the astrologer. Thus, a good understanding of the principles of KP that need to be applied is essential if any degree of accuracy is to be obtained. These judgments are not easy or simple and, I confess, have been difficult to master. Even after years of study and application of the principles, one may not be able to entirely master them. However, every so often, correct application of the principles lead to accurate results. It is from both the failures and the successes that one must learn and improve. The present case analysis concerns a young girl child, aged 12 years, who had to undergo spinal correction surgical procedures. Within the space of 10 days, she was operated upon twice. On the first occasion, she came home after a week in hospital. On the second one, the surgeon and doctors attending on her said that she would again have to stay hospitalized for about a week. As a friend of the family, I was closely associated throughout her operation, hospitalization and thereafter. I had earlier made a horary analysis concerning the success of her surgical ordeals. Those were done in the classical KP way by examining the 6th house (and Lagna) for links with 6,8 and 12, as well as the 11th house (and lagna) and its links with 1,5,11 for cure and recovery. The analyses also involved considering longevity through houses 1,3 and 8 and the involvement, if any, of maraka and badhaka houses. Having assured myself of the longevity of the child and the success of the surgical procedures conducted upon her, I was now curious to know as to when she would be discharged from hospital and return home. She was operated upon on the 20th of December. The doctors had said, as mentioned earlier, that she would most likely remain in hospital until the 27th. The family was hoping that she would be able to return home for Christmas. Hence the question posed was: When will the child be discharged from hospital and be able to return home? For analysing this question, a random computer generated horary number was taken i.e. 115/249. The analysis was done on 22.12.2012 at 15:56:07 hours at Pretoria (South Africa) Latitude 25:47:00 South and Longitude 28:15:00 E. The horary chart is attached below: As the question pertains to return home, involving movement, it would help if the chart showed indications of quick moving signs and planets. In this chart, the cusp of 11th bhava (the house of success) is in Cancer, a movable sign. Its lord Moon is the fast moving planet. 1) Moon is in 7 and is the ruler of 11. represents Jupiter, placed in 9th and rules 4-7. It also represents strong Venus [no planets in its stars] placed in 3rd and rules 2 and 9). The sub lord of Moon is Moon itself placed in 7 and rules 11. Moon, as 11th lord clearly shows quick movement as it links with 11th both at planet level and at sub level. This situation of the Moon actually provides us an insight into what Guruji KSK has always emphasised in his KP Readers. According to Guruji, a planet gives the results of the houses indicated by its star lord. It is the Sub that decides whether those matters indicated at the stellar level will be beneficial or will suffer. (Note that our current thinking includes the indications at all three levels as „significators“ as well as using the sub level as „decider“). In analysing the position of Moon, please note that it indicates the following:

At the star level it activates the houses 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. The 2nd is family, 3rd is journey back from hospital, 4th is clearly ‚home‘. The 8th is the serious nature of the problem she has just faced leading to surgical procedures. 9th is the recovery. 7th shows the doctors in attendance.

At the sub level it indicates houses 7 and 11. Now looking at both levels as propounded by Guruji, 2 and 11 is reunion with family, 3 and 11 is successfully making the return journey, 4 and 11 is reaching or coming home. 8 and 11 is success in the medical procedures. 9 and 11 is the recovery from the danger. 7 and 11 show the competence of the doctors and their success in conducting the procedures (also note that the 4th is the profession of the doctor [being 10th from the 7th] and shows the treatment and care that he or she conducts. Thus 4,7, and 11 show the success of the doctors).

2) The Lagna sub lord is Jupiter. It is placed in 9th and rules 4-7. It is in the star of Moon placed in 7 and rules 11. It is in the sub of Jupiter itself placed in 9 and rules 4-7. As with the Moon, let us look at the stellar and sub indications closely.

At the stellar level, Jupiter indicates 7 and 11; At the sub level, it indicates 4,9 and 7. Once again, the relevant sub lord has shown that there is 4 and 11 (return home), 9 and 11 (recovery from the dangerous procedures), 7 and 11 (success of the attending doctors).

3) The main issue in this query is one of quick return home. The main house, therefore, is the 4th. Its links with the 11th will show return home. If it indicates the 2nd it will show reunion with family. If it links with the 3rd, the journey home will be made. The time factor will be determined by the nature of the planet that is the sub lord of the 4th. 4) The sub lord of the 4th is Saturn placed in 1st and rules 5-6. It is in the star of Rahu placed in the 2nd. Rahu represents strong Venus (no planets in its stars) placed in 3rd and rules 2-9. Venus is not a sub lord for any houses. Saturn is in the sub of Ketu placed in the 8th. Ketu represents Jupiter, placed in 9th and rules 4-7. It also represents strong Venus (no planets in its stars), placed in 3rd and rules 2-9.

At the stellar level, Saturn indicates 2,3, and 9; At the planetary level (weaker indications than at the stellar level), Saturn indicates 1,5 and 6;

• At the sub level, it indicates 2,3,4,7,8, and 9. •Thus, the 4th bhava sub lord is indicating 2 (family); 3 (journey); 9 (long journey). At the sub level, all these indications are supported with the addition of 4th which shows

return ‚home‘. 5) No analysis would be complete without an examination of the 11th house which is essential to the successful manifestation of any event in one’s life. The 11th cusp sub lord is Mercury (a fast moving planet), placed in 3rd and rules 1-10. It is in its own star. It is in the sub of Moon (another fast moving planet), placed in 7 and rules 11. The indications of the 11th cusp sub lord are that there is journey (3rd) and at the orders of the doctors (7th). The cusp sub lord itself and its sub lord are both fast moving planets. It is reasonable to conclude that it will take place quickly. 6) How does this indication of the 11th house (and also lagna) balance out with the indications of Saturn? At the very moment it struck my mind to know the result by using horary method in K.P. system. And instantly number 59 came to my mind and noted the same and drew a chart to know the result (chart is enclosed). The chart is erected on 28-12-2012 at 07.53.00 at Hyderabad for a horary number 59 (using 01 to 249). Before analyzing the result I would like to furnish different rules that are used in the K.P. analysis to find the outcome. Different Rules 1) As per Gulbarga theory, if the sub lord of the horary number furnished by the querent is either the star lord of the Ascendant or Moon among the ruling planets, the answer is YES otherwise No. 2) Simple calculation method to know the answer- YES or NO (Astro secrets & Krishnamurti Padhdhati Part VI, Ruling Planets, edited by K. Subramaniam, page 130) Take the horary number within 01 to 249. Divide the same by 12. (A) If the reminder is 0-2-6-11 - the answer is YES. (B) If the reminder is 1-3-7-9 - the result is LATE. (C) If the reminder is 4-5-8-10 - the answer is NO. 3) Principles of cuspal analysis in K.P. horary method 4) To know the accuracy of our prediction- In practice see whether the 03rd cusp sub lord of the chart we are reading or predicting gets connected with the 07th cusp star lord or sub lord either by aspect or conjunction or in any way. Analysis of the horary chart 1) Gulabarga theory The sub lord of the horary number is Ketu. Ketu is in Sun star. Sun is the star lord of the R P lagna (Dhanus-Jup-Sun-Moon-Venus) and Sun is in Ketu star. Sun is in the R.P., so the answer is Yes. India won the match by eleven runs. 2) As per simple calculation method The horary number is 59. When it is divided by 12 the reminder arrived is 11(eleven). So the answer is YES. 3) As per cuspal analysis Moon’s connection- we are analyzing 6 and 11th cusps in India’s favor and houses 5 and 12 in Pakistan’s favor. Why Moon can't indicate the querent's mind in the KP horary chart (1-249)? By: Tin Win E-mail: [email protected]

1. This note is to explain why Moon can't indicate the querent's mind in the KP horary chart (1-249) by looking from the different angles of the querent and the astrologer. 2. When a querent asks a horary question, the querent has to give a number between 1 and 249 that fits well with his karmic patterns by divine guidance for his or her strong urge to know the correct answer to the question. (KP Reader VI, p 253) 3. Consequently only the horary chart that calculated for the given horary number, at the time and date of giving the number and for the place where the question is asked can reflect the query’s mind and none other chart else. 4. In the KP horary analysis, the time and date and place of judgment is taken when astrologer actually starts analyzing the horary chart at the place where he is located, whatever may be the date and time of query and the place where the question is asked. This moment when the astrologer sits for judgment is similar to the moment when the whole body of child has got separated from the womb of the mother. (KP Reader VI pp 88, 243) 5. In this regard, the positions of the planets in the havens at the time an astrologer takes up the query for answer will bear a definite relation to the query – the urge to answer is created in the astrologer's mind only at a such time when there is an inter-relation between the matter in question and the heavenly positions of the planets. (KP Reader VI p 294) 6. According to “the urge to answer is created in the astrologer's mind”, the Moon in a horary chart at the time and date of judgment by the astrologer at the place where he is located is the astrologer's mind, not the querent’s mind. So such Moon can't indicate the querent's mind in the KP horary chart (1-249). 7. In addition “there is an inter-relation between the matter in question and the heavenly positions of the planets” means an inter-relation between the matter in question and the positions of all the nine planets from Sun to Ketu to give the correct answer. 8. This is food for thought and up to the preference of an astrologer whether to follow “Moon indicates the querent's mind in the KP horary chart (1-249).” or not as practiced in the KP horary analysis in general and in the KPE-zine articles in particular.

Question- 1: Some Doubts in KP Question- 1:1: Four Fold and Six Fold Significators I request you to clear the following doubts of an ardent amateur KP student as you are the dictionary of KP. Pls help. I shall be grateful if u could reply in seriatim with an example. 1-- First i request you to clarify whether 4 fold significators should be used or 6 fold . Let me explain. In Volume 2 of Sagar Publications , Guruji KSK has used at 3 places 6 fold significators .ie planets in the sub of occupants , planets in the star of occupants , occupants, planets in the sub of owners , planets in the star of owners and owners . Why did KSK use 6 fold if 4 fold is the actual KP? Answer- 1:1 In the Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Vol. 2, 1966, Sagar Publications, the six fold significators "with the sub" were used in three example charts on pp 113-114, 274 and 319-320. The second and third six fold example charts are not included in any of KP Readers. Moreover, the four fold significators are also found applied in the KP Reader III pp 342; KP Reader IV pp 118, 128, 201; KP Reader V pp 149, 201; KP Reader VI pp 157, 197, 247 etc., KP SWs and the KP literature in general. Based on the above references, the R. Dhanabalanin’s proposal in July 2008 in the Yahoo KP group to convert the existing four fold general significator table into the six fold table as below to get better results according to Guruji K.S. However, it’s in fact the inclusion of the sub’s signification as straight significators, not deciders. Perhaps that is why the six fold significator table is not used in the six KP readers in particular and KP practice in general. The six fold significator table supported by the KPAsro 4.0 can be used with caution since the signification of a planet needs to be considered at all three levels of planet, star and sub. Question 1:2: Selection of Fruitful Significators 2-- Secondly, how to select the fruitful significators? Is it that the significators of the concerned houses are compared with the ruling planets at the time of judgement or is it that before coming to ruling planets itself you have to eliminate the temptors from the significators. How to time an event say marriage by selecting fruitful significators? Answer 1:2 Here is the selection method of fruitful significators: Significators of planets having no planets in their stars, which are the strongest significators of houses under consideration to give the results of the houses by being the sub lord to them; (same as in Golden Rule in Astrosecrets & KP, Part II, p 195): to take the planets which are posited in the sub of significators whose constellations are not tenanted.); Significators which are posited in the stars of the cuspal sub lords of required houses for a matter under consideration, for instance house 2,7,11 for marriage; Significtors which are common with the ruling planets; Significators appearing many times amongst the ruling planets and significators: Significators which are the cuspal sub lords of houses under consideration. Question 1:3: Role of Signs & Train’s Arrival Predicted Using RPs 3-- Secrets of Horary: Say for eg. if 11th Cuspal sublord is in a moveable sign , matter will fructify fast , in a fixed sign , matter will fructify late etc . If the Prashna Lagna is fixed or moveable it has a meaning .What is it ?. Late N. Mohan who was an expert in ruling planets had written an article about his experience when he was travelling in a bus and suddenly bus broke down. He had sought the help of ruling planets and properties of signs and had predicted that the bus would reach the destination at a particular time and it really happened. If the article can be attached, it will be of great use to KP learners. Answer 1:3 Guruji KSK was very emphatic in telling how the prediction should be given only after looking into the sub lord where the planet under observation is stationed.. . . It is also said that constellation needs consideration . The sign is not important. The house occupied by the planet should be judged, taking in which constellation the planet is posited. The role of the sign occupied by a planet is not so important, as that of the constellation. (KP Reader III) Exact Time of Train’s Arrival Predicted Using RPs On 27-9-1978 I was to travel from Chipurupalle to Khurda Road by Waltair-Puri first passenger. The train was scheduled to arrive Chipurupalle at 8-55 pm. I reached to the Chipurupalle Railway Station at about 8-15 pm. . . . Just after 8-30 pm, I went to the A.S.M. on duty to know if the train was running late and got the information that the train would be late by about 30 minutes. . . . I, myself, being an ardent follower of K.P., sat down to find out the Ruling Planets at that moment (8-36 pm).

Chipurupalle stands on 17-30 N. Latitude and 83-12 E. Longitude. The Lagna rising at that time was 0-51 in Taurus. This position is represented by Venus, Sun, Rahu as the lords of sign, star and sub. Moon was at 17-59 in Cancer. This position is ruled by Moon, Mercury and Mercury as the lords of sign, star and sub. The day was Wednesday ruled by Mercury. Rahu was conjoined with Mercury and Sun in Virgo. So Rahu represents them both. Moon was conjoined with exalted Jupiter. At that time Taurus Lagna just commenced and it would last for about two hours. Moreover Lagna lord Venus is in her own sign Libra. So, for the arrival time of train I fixed the Lagna as Taurus itself. Taurus contains the asterisms of the last three quarters of Kritika, centre Rohini and first two quarters of Mrigasira ruled by Sun, Moon and Mars respectively. Moon was in her own sign conjoined with exalted Jupiter, lord of 11. Now Moon was in the star and sub of Mercury who was posited in his own sign Kanya. Mercury appears three times as the ruling planets and is conjoined with Sun, lord of 4 Vahana Sthanadhipathi. Rahu is conjoined with Mercury and Sun and Rahu is the sub lord of Lagna at the time of analysis. So I came to the conclusion and fixed up the moment for the arrival of the train when Lagna position is at Venus sign, Taurus, Moon star, Mercury sub and Rahu sub-sub. Another point to be noted here is that Saturn was posited in the 4th house representing Vahana Sthanam and was aspecting Lagna by the 10th aspect and its lord by the 3rd aspect. So I concluded that the arrival of train would be delayed till the end of Rahu sub-sub. The longitude of this position is 19-6-55 in Taurus. Then I calculated the corresponding time for the above position. It came to be 9 -47-50 p.m. I.S.T. Immediately after finishing my calculation I told the three persons – on the platform discussing among them about astrology – that the train would arrive at 9-48 p.m. but they laughed away at my prediction. - - - The train arrived and stopped at the station exactly at 9-48 p.m. The astrologers were astonished at my prediction. - - Question 1:4: Three Level Significators 4-- Next is the significators. Some use ABCD significators . Some astrologers use the Chandrakant Bhatt’s connection method where in significators of a planet are: Cuspal sublord -Owner ship and occupation Cuspal sublord’s starlord -Ownership and occupation Cuspal sublord’s sublord -ownership and occupation (connected with) Is the connected with of Mr. Bhatt the correct method? Answer 1:4 The cuspal sub lord (CSL) or DBA lord is a planet. Using planet and its star in two steps is the stellar method, and also using up to its sub in three steps is the KP method. Without considering the signification of sub, it is not a KP analysis, since KP is the sub lord theory only, nothing else. According to the KP fundamental rule, "The planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the result and the sub is a deciding factor whether the matter is favourable or not." , the signification of a planet, its star lord and its sub in three steps, by occupation and lordship, are to be jointly considered like Chandrakant R. Bhatt, K.M. Subramanium, Umang Taneja and other reputable KP astrologers. i.e. Mars is the 7th cuspal sublord. Mars is in the star of Venus. So analysing the ABCD significators of Venus. Is it the correct method? Answer 1:5 Since the CSL is a planet, the CSL (planet), its star lord and sub lord should be considered by occupation and lordship. It is not to go after the CSL’s star lord by analyzing its signification at three levels of itself, its star and sub. Question 1:6: Is a Sub Lord a Significator or Decider? 6-- Is the role of a sublord is a significator or decider? Planet is the source, results are governed by constellation lord and sub decides the outcome. There was an article written by Rajendra Nimje on Sub Harmonics in JASA edited by Dr Andrew Dutta. Mr Rajendra Nimje has used sublord’s owner ship and occupation just to decide which of the significators of the planet and the star lord ie ABCD significators of the planet would be activated. The sublord has been used as a gate keeper. But most KP astrologers use sublord as a significator, pls throw light. Answer 1:6 The role of a sub lord is a decider although there are cases with the fructification of events by the sub lord's signification without star lord’s signification. That is why the six fold significator table has not been applied. Whether it is a planet or CUSPAL SUBLORD these are controlled by the relevant sublord and its significations only. As regards to a planet, the matter is seen through the star lord of that planet and the SUB LORD of that planet "decides" the result and how the matter is altered and enjoyed and suffered by the native. While we take the sublord of the CUSP (all know the SUB Lord is a PLANET), we must be more careful, while dealing with the subject. As told above, the CUSPAL SUBLORD is a PLANET ." (K.M. Question 1:7: Retrogression in KP Horary 7-- KP Horary rules says that if the cuspal sublord is retrograde, then matter will materialise when it becomes direct . If the cuspal sublord’s star lord is retrograde then the matter will not happen at all. Is it true? Is retrogression has effect or is it that Jupiter and Saturn are exempted from the rule of retrogression. Answer 1:7 The retrograde cuspal sub lord of the concerned cusp, if deposited in the star of a planet in direct motion, the event will materialize after some obstacles and delay when it is in direct motion and passed beyond the point wherefrom retrograde motion started. (KP Reader VI pp 145-146, 170, 178) If the cuspal sub lord (whether in direct or retrograde motion) is deposited in the star of retrograde planet, the event cannot materialize. Ghose had found in hundred of Horary cases that the retrograde planet has failed to offer the due result. (Result of Planets in Retrogression, KPA 1995 p 6) Guruji KSK has brought us to that level of thought and used to say "My friends, we have come up to this- you should continue the research and you may reach to further truth". (KPA 1995 p 7 and 1996 p 63) So further research of a minimum of one hundred carefully documented horary charts collection has been in advanced process to form a credible opinion on retrogression whether it does matter or not in the horary analysis. One can follow whichever gives him or her the better results based on own experience. Question- 1:8: Role of Rahu/Ketu’s star lord 8-- K.M. Subramanaiam’s article says that planet will signify the houses (ownership and occupation) only if the planet has positional status ie having no planets in its stars. My Jupiter was the lord of 5 and 8 in 4. But Ketu was in the star of Jupiter. Hence Jupiter does not signify 5 and 8. But my Jupiter dasa was horrible in terms of disappointments, humiliations in career. My DOB is 5/8/1972 .TOB is 7 :20 AM . POB is Mettur, Salem District . What was the reason?. It cannot be that Jupiter was in the sub of Rahu as i have 4 planets in the sub of Rahu . Aswer- 1:8 It is used to say about the full (strong) signification when a planet has positional status. 5/8/1972, 7 :20 a.m. IST, Mettur, 11n48, 77e48, KPNA 23:23:03, Asc. Here the star lords of Ketu and Rahu seem playing important role other than planets in conjunction and aspect. Question 1:9: Relation between Star and Sub 9-- K.M Subramaniam has said in his sublord speaks that many times contrary to the results of the star lord, sub lord decides the result. Say starlord indicating all bad or negative houses. If the sub of Dasa lord signifies positive houses 2,6,11 etc, he will flourish in the dasa. Is it true ? Answer 1:9 Although there are cases with the fructification of events by the sub lord's signification without star lord’s signification, it may not be so by looking at his references from the KP Reader III, for instance, page 128 of KP Reader III: If the planet is in a constellation denoting evil results, but the sub lord is a, benefic, even though he may suffer, yet temporarily during the period he has little relief from the adverse results. Question 1:10: Cuspal Sub Lord or Cuspal Star Lord 10-- I have seen some KP astrologers using cuspal starlord at times. Some say Saturn was the 9th and 12th Cuspal star lord. Hence Saturn played the role in going abroad. Did Guruji KSK use cuspal star lord ever? I shall be indebted to you if u could help in answering the above queries in seriatim. Looking forward to your reply . . . Answer 1:10 Only the cuspal sub lord (lord) of main house governing the matter under consideration should be scrutinized by the significators of three levels. For instance, the 12th cuspal sub lord should signify house preferably 9 or 3 or 12 for foreign going. The cuspal sub lord of a house indicates whether the matter of the house is promised or not. The significators point the time of event. Both dasa, bhukti and gochara (transit) must agree. (KP Reader V page 224 / 1971Edition p 211; KP Reader III pp 226, 362/ 1971 Edition, Practical Part pp 68, 194) Since the cuspal sub lord of a house is a planet, we have to look at the significators of the cuspal sub lord planet at all three levels of planet, its star and sub by occupation and lordship. If one sees the above Table - Significators - Planets View, it can be seen that Mo does not signify 7, 11 on the contrary it appears to signify 1, 4, 6, 11 and since it signifies 1 & 6 marriage does not appear to be positively predicted. Question 2-1: Can the Table of Significators - Planets View be used to check for signifactors instead of writing the text as in points 1 to 4 above. If not then what is the use of this Table of Significators? Fixing DBAS 10. Current running Dasa is Mo (from.03 Sep 2001 to 03 Sep 2011). As discussed above in point 3, Mo signifies 7,11 and is the sub of Ve signifying 11. So Moon Dasa is capable of giving marriage. Question 2-2: Moon is in the sub of Rahu which signifies 1 & 10. So Moon should not promise marriage in this case. Kindly elaborate the above questions. This annual magazine contains thirty one articles by twenty six contributors on various topics as shown by the contents. It has been noticed that there are no articles from some longtime regular contributors like Prof. Vaikari Ramamurthy, T. Rajendra Kumar. Regarding the references of KP Reader IV and Astro-secrets & K.P. - Part 1 about Kuja Dosha (59 of this year book), it is to note that only the traditional Mars Dosha is explained there but not Mars Dosha in KP. The traditional criteria of Mars Dosha explained in KP Reader IV pages 51-69 ‘up to 4th paragraph’ is the exact reprint of content on pages 215-228 of the original Krishnamurti Padhdhati Vol. 2, 1966, Sagar Publications. On the las tpage 69, three paragraphs are added to give a clear opinion that “not Mars alone, any planet can cause such undesirable effect of disagreement, dispute, divorce etc among the couple provided they happen to be deposited in such a position of the significator of 6 or 10 or 12”. (KP Reader IV page 69, ‘5th paragraph’) Each one will have their own say according to their whims and fancies, and due to this it is the general public pushed to run from pillar to post. (Sri M.P. Why we use Mean position of Rahu and Ketu although we are using all the planets Sun to Saturn in True position (page 88) is that the True nodes are true only twice a month, viz. at the times when the Moon crosses the ecliptic. He has prescribed only mantras like the Vishnu Sahasranam, Mrityunjaya, Durga Saptasati etc., and some charity, which is called `dhan.'
