Teaching profession and analysis through KP system

The following objectives were ascribed to education *1. Self control * 2. Development of character. *3. Generation of sociability or social awareness. *4.Integral development of personality. *5.Propogation of purity. *6.Preservation of knowledge and culture. Education during those days was free. No outside agencies could interfere in the matters of education. There was perfect autonomy. No external authorities, no external beneficiaries, no politics were permitted to enter the school or college system. A student had nothing to pay in return for his education he received in Gurukul or Ashram. Access to education was dependent not in wealth but on talent only. GURU in Sanskrit means--GU- invisible darkness and RU- dispelling it. Teacher will sow the seeds of education and grows in us the tree of knowledge which in later ages bears the fruits of wisdom. That was the sacred duty of our respected teachers in our life. In Olden days there were “Gurukuls” where children were joined for their educational pursuit till their teenage. But now, the picture is completely changed and we have schools and colleges (also universities) to pursue our education. We join our children in schools at their tender age till they develop into an adult. This is a very important phase in our life, and what we learn during this time will become our character or personality in later age. And the real sculptor who chisels our character is our “Teacher”. With this background I would like to discuss on teaching profession with reference to K.P System with the help of a chart of a teacher (native) who has been working as a teacher for the past 28 years in Central School. While I was studying the past issues of KP-EZine that I consider and greatly believed as the well-known ancient university "Thaksala" in Bharatha, I read the article written on Mars Dosha, by Sri Tin Win ji. There Sri Tin win Ji has mentioned "All major life events of a native including longevity are to be predicted according to his Natal Horoscope. Therefore, longevity of a native cannot change by marrying anyone including a so-called Manglik as shown below". Though I quoted this, I am not going to write about Mars Dosaha, but there is a universal truth behind the quote that any good or bad astrological indications in one's chart do not affect to anybody else. If something happened to a native, it is due to his own Karma. It is not someone else's Karma. The reason for this introduction to my article is a query from a mother of a young girl, whose father was died recently and this mother was told by someone that this girl will be maraka for her father and the mother was worried and wanted to read the chart of this girl to see any more misfortune for the family members, especially for the mother. Before I take the birth detail, I consoled the mother saying that any natal planets of any family member's chart cannot harm any other family member, whether it is son or daughter or wife and any fortune or misfortune is depend only on the results of the previous deeds of the native only which is clearly mentioned in the Buddhism as well as in Astrology. However, being a new comer to KP, I was lucky to have a chance to study such a case to see whether there is such a misfortune for the native to perform the funeral rites of her father in her very young age. Birth Details of the Native Gender: Female, Date: Wednesday, 01/June/1994, Time: 5.42 am, Place: De Soyza Women's Hospital, Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka, Long 79.52.00, Lat. 06.55.00, SID.Time 22:08:30, KPNA 23:41:20, Lagna: Taurus 12.59.34, Dasa Balance: Rahu 07 Years, 00 Months, 22 Days. As the case is to see any malefic indication for the longevity of the father of the native, I rotated the chart to the 9th cusp, the Pithru Bhawa as the Ascendant of the father. As per the attached natal chart of the girl, the Ascendant of the father is Capricorn at 07:03:46 that is the reference point of all happenings of the life of father. Lagna is ruled by Saturn as the Sign Lord, Sun as the Star Lord and Kethu as the Sub Lord. Lagna sub is Kethu in 4 (End of Life) and represents Mars+ the lord of 4 & 11 (Badhaka). A client of mine approached me to know astrologically whether an amount of Rs. 50,000/(fifty thousand only) which is given to his neighbor as hand-loan will be returned or not? If so, when? He gave me Horary No.5/249. DOJ=28-10-2015; TOJ=01-06-00 PM; POJ=Kurnool (A.P).The horary chart is enclosed at the end of my analysis for the benefit of the readers of this magazine. Moon indicates the nature of the mind of the querent. In this horary chart, Moon(1-5) is in the star of Venus(5-2,7) and in the sub of Saturn(8-11,12). Moon holds the sub- lordship of 6th and 10th cusps and does not having any planets in her stars. So the question raised by my client is correct. Lagna CSL Mars(6-1,8) is in the star of Venus(5-2,7) and in the sub of Ketu(12). Ketu is aspected by Mars(6-1,8) and Mercury(6-3,4). Thus Lagna CSL Mars signifies 6 and 2. 11th CSL Rahu(6) is in the star of Sun(7-6) and in the sub of Saturn(8-11,12). So fulfilment of the desire (recovery of money which is given as hand-loan to his neighbor) is clearly visible. RULE:- If the 6th cusp sub lord signifies 2, 6 or 11 then only one can get back his dues. If the Sublord is Saturn, then there will be delay and some obstacles to recover. If it is Mercury, One will correspond, give notice, send agents and One will recover in instalments. If it is Jupiter and ill deposited, one gets easily through court or by lawful means all the legitimate amount. If Saturn aspects Jupiter, One recovers only a part of it, or part by part. If Mars is the sublord, one threatens the other and recovers. Even goondas may be of real use. If Moon is the sublord, very quickly money is regained. If Venus is the sublord then by compromise and sweet words, one fulfils his desire. If Sun is the sub lord, through the help of the government officials or by litigations one gains. In this horary chart, the 6th CSL Moon(1-5) is in the star of Venus(5-2,7) and in the sub of Saturn(8-11,12). Moon holds the sub- lordship of 6th and 10th cusps and does not having any planets in her stars. So I told my client that his amount will be returned to him. Immediately he asked me -When? Question 1: Aspects on Rasi in KP I am in need of some clarification on ASPECTS in KP. "Hindu I am following the contents of http://groups.yahoo.com/group/k_p_system/files/ Aspects with Orb" (14.06.2012), which is similar to Vedic as used in my basic education of Vedic and no question at all. But in the Placidus Bahawa chart, when a planet aspects a sign, where there is not any cusp in that sign, what are the results of aspecting planet? I have attached a chart appearing such a condition. In the chart, 9th house is running from 9th cusp (28.31.21 Cancer) to 10th cusp (01.01.51 Virgo). It means that 9 th house is spreading from 28.31.21 area of Cancer sign, throughout whole area of Leo, up to 01.01.51 of Virgo. In case of planets within the above said area of longitude are usually considered as the planets in the 9th cusp. As of Ur in the chart, it is considered in the whole area of the 9th house. Now my question is, In the attached chart Ve, Sa, Me in 3rd house aspect Leo sign by their 7th aspect, where there is no cusp appearing but amalgamated with 9 th house. In this case, there may be effects of aspecting planets to that sign Leo or matters or diseases of Leo or its lord Sun. Can you please shower your kindness in solving this?

Rasi Chart and Cusp Chart The above South Indian style ‘rasi chart’ gives the relative rasi positions with boundary lines of ‘rasi after rasi’ of Hindu zodiac for correct use of rasi-based Hindu aspects. By inserting KP Ezine

the Placidus cusps and placing the planets in the houses, the house-based chart denotes the correct occupation and lordship of planets in finding KP significators. (Example chart in KP Reader I, page 144). Hindu Aspects In the solved examples of the KP six Readers, only the Hindu aspects are used without considering the orb, although it is encouraged to study the Western aspects. The Hindu aspects (Drishtis) are counted ‘from rasi to rasi’, irrespective of the positions of the planets in the rasis and the relative distance between the two planets i.e. not ‘from degree to degree’ like in the Western aspects. Planets aspect the entire rasis with or without any planet or cusp there, and the closer an aspect on any located planet or cusp is, the stronger the result would be. Area of a House It is true that the area of 9th house is from 9th cusp in Cancer, through Leo sign, up to next 10th cusp in Virgo. Whatever planet(s), here Uranus, located in this area is considered in the 9th house. Leo sign without any cusp appearing is called the intercepted sign. Aspect on Rasi In the attached chart Ve, Sa, Me in 3rd house aspect Leo sign where there is no cusp but amalgamated with 9th house. In that case, generally some may consider the effects of aspecting planets on that sign Leo. KP Grade E significator But remember that whatever aspt or conj. is not a significator, and grade E significators by aspt/conj. are those planets aspt/conj. by grade A,B,C,D significators. Even grade E significators are very weak and used as the last resort only.

Question 2: Aspect of Rahu/Ketu I do agree with many astrologers that Rahu and Ketu are not planets, therefore no aspect or Dhrsti is available for them. What is your opinion and why . It will enrich our knowledge. Answer 2: In KP the shadowy planets Rahu and Ketu (Nodes) do not aspect any planet or any house since they are only the sensitive and powerful intersecting points in the pathway of Sun and Moon and they are not having any physical body which can be seen through a telescope as we can see all the other planets. star lord and lord of the sign where located. Those who do consider Rahu and Ketu to have aspects, generally consider them to aspect the 5th, 7th and 9th, similar to Jupiter's aspect. However, none of the astrological treatises ascribed to any of the rishis gives aspects to Rahu and Ketu. Trying to use planetary aspects for Rahu and Ketu would be misleading and a source of confusion when making predictions. (Vault of the Heavens: Treatise on Vedic Astrology by Ernst Wilhelm, page 196) Question 3: How can astrologer’s Moon reflect querent’s mind? Dear Sir, I fail to understand as to how the position of the Moon in a chart drawn according to astrologers place and astrologers time will reflect the mind of the questioner. Answer 3: Such a common practice is not logical, in other words the position of the Moon in a chart drawn according to astrologer’s place and astrologer’s convenient time will not reflect the mind of the questioner.
