Comply with KOC.SA.004 (Permit To Work system) All Vehicles / Equipments shall be inspected and certified as per KOC.SA.013 Excavation safety procedures shall be followed as per KOC.SA.026 Conduct Tool Box Talk and discuss about the hazards. Use all necessary PPEs Ensure EOD clearance certificate for the area from Company Any explosive ordinance findings, barricade the area, inform Company and keep personnel away Only qualified person to operate the Crane and other lifting equipments Ensure visual inspection of all lifting equipments and vehicles Always maintain the Safe Working Load Cable Jack shall be placed on leveled and compacted ground Cable Jack and Loading Shaft shall be with sufficient capacity, duly inspected and color coded Proper manual handling techniques shall be followed Use appropriate PPEs Area of work shall be barricade with Caution / Warning Signage All activities shall be carried out as per TWI / CMS No lifting during heavy sand storm / poor visibility Keep the equipment away from the trench edge Only competent personal shall be used for the activity Manual unrolling of cable shall be performed in a slow and study manner Any return back movement due to slipping of cable or tension shall be immediately stopped and such provisions shall be made Any deviation on loading Cable Jack shall be closely monitored Personnel shall be suitably instructed in cable pulling techniques including appropriate manual handling techniques Assign sufficient personnel for manual unrolling of cable Proper hand protection and excess caution during the cable pulling / laying Competent supervision Barricade the area with Caution / Warning signage. Gas testing shall be carried out before entry into confined space trench

Provide suitable ladder, ramp or stair as access and egress to the cable trench



Stored energy shall discharged by using the discharge stick Proper communication shall be maintained. Ensure all safe guards and controls are in place prior to proceed with the work. Electrical caution signage shall be displayed at the site and the c Megger Test on the system prior to energize Inspect all equipment and tools before using, and ensure the insulation without damage. Ensure inspected and certified tools and equipment shall be used for the activities Ensure the earth connections as applicable and adequate. Testing procedure shall be strictly followed. Ensure all personnel aware of the Company emergency response procedure Unauthorized personnel entry shall be restricted. Area of activity shall be barricaded and placed with signage
