Ensure the equipment operator, riggers are experienced to do the task and have the necessary valid documents and licenses of the state of Kuwait Ensure the ground condition is in safe working condition and underground services if any are generated Ensure access way is free of obstructions Ensure the approach to emergency equipment is not blocked by properly planning and placing the equipments/ materials. Conduct regular visual inspection of all lifting gears and mechanism of crane prior to start any lifting operation by a competent rigging supervisor/ foreman Do not exceed 80% of the rated capacity of the crane for any loading/ unloading works Do not overload the lifting capacity of the crane as per manufacturer standards under any circumstances Do not override any inbuilt safety devices or take short cut during the lifting operations.
