Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes. Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate. Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection. Conduct reference and background checks on applicants. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures. Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations. Psychology — Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders 2. English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. 3. Sociology and Anthropology — Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, cultures and their history and origins. 4. Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. 5. Communications and Media — Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
