Our body’s thermostat “knobs” are  found at and just below the head of  the fibula just around the “corner”  created by the hamstring tendon  when the knee is bent.   Gently lay the fingertips onto the calf  just below these “corners,” on the left  to lower the body’s temperature and  on the right to raise the temperature.   Connect both at the same time to let  your body’s wisdom balance the  temperature.  This is most easily done  on yourself when seated.

The pattern must follow the direction of the large  intestine—up the right side, from the  right side of the abdomen to the left at  the base of the ribs, down the left side,  and across to the base of the right side  again; end the final round at bottom  center. The Main Central Vertical Flow is the source of our life energy in the body. This energy flows down the center of the front of the body and up the center of the back. Harmonizing the Main Central Vertical regularly centers you and ensures that you have plenty of energy. Depending on need, some people will find this flow calming and prefer to apply it at bedtime; others may be energized by it and prefer to apply it first thing in the morning.
