K.S. Krishn[murti’s M_tho^ of @n[lysing Long_vity through Hor[ry

A

ssessing the longevity of a person is one of the most difficult work on the realm of horoscopy, sharing its space with birth time rectification—another most difficult area in natal astrology. It is the usual practice for all astrologers to predict longevity with the help of the birth (natal) chart of the person. And this calls for accurate birth time. So, it is the same old “chicken-egg-which-came-first” syndrome in astrology. In this 3rd Anniversary issue, I am providing the original scanned article by K.S. Krishnamurti wherein he predicted the longevity with the help of Horary Astrology! We are grateful to Astrology & Athrista, February 1970 Issue for this article. A good many important points are to be noted from this article of KSK. 1. Assessment of longevity can be done from a horary chart also in case you do not get a birth chart erected from accurate birth time. 2. The horary chart can be drawn from the number given by the querist himself or the person originally asking the question. 3. Horary chart drawn from a number reflects the cosmic effect, which carries with it the seed of the answer too [See the black box in the next page]. I have given much deeper explanation of this concept of horary in my video course 4. Though KSK has not used the terms “Sthana—Kaala—Patra”, he has actually used the concept in his explanation of his article. [This is marked with red colored box]. Many people mess up with KP astrology, because they apply the concepts of astrology blindly in the chart. Sthana—Kaala—Patra has also been explained elaborately in my video course. 5. Last but not the least, KSK uses Moon’s reflection of mind to find the genuiness of the querist’s mind (and not the astrologer’s mind as one emagazine reviewer falsely commented few months back). 9

These days it has become fashionable for many KP astrologers to make arithmetical applications of KP principles and thereby make failed predictions. This original article of KSK shows that an astrologer should use common sense with equal dosage as his use of sound KP principles. Unfortunately, there is so much pollution all around us from dubious people with no KP background that many practitioners are confused. JASA is making herculean effort to remove these confusions by publishing all original articles of KSK from Astrology & Athrista magazines from its inception. No wonder today your magazine is having more than 13000 readers in more than 96 countries with first 2 years. Apart from this original article of KSK, we have brilliant articles by your favourite authors, who after these super 2 years, do not need any further introductions. Plus we have new authors joining our JASA family, whom we welcome with open arms! So, without much further ado, I hand you over this 3rd Anniversary issue, since we “miles to go before we sleep”.

I enjoy reading your emails, so do keep on writing. Goodluck!

he birth and the rebirth is a continuation of life according to our religions and of those who are believing in the re birth. Our Karma continues to pay for the sins we have made in our past lives until we reach a state where there are no sins or re births. The karma is very well connected with the life showing that we are coming to an abode to pay for our sins. By death the physical body is getting deteorated which is consisting of the four elements, namely fire, earth gas and water. The soul leaves the body and look for another place to make some more of the sins cleared until these are completed. The physical body appears and re appears with the combination of the above elements of matter and the total formation by the combination or soul or aathma by entering into a physical body. This karma is clearly shown in a birth chart and thus astrology and karma are very well interconnected. It is a very interesting combination of birth of a child who lived for a few days and re born to the same mother. Here we see the very interesting planetary combinations in all births and re births along with the dasha periods which these children were influenced by. The birth chart of the first baby is as follows; Nirayana Planetary Positions at birth.

In this rebirth chart, Kethu, the south node of Moon is in the sign of Sagittarius in the 10th bhava and very close to the 11th cusp. Saturn is in Aquarius in the cusp of the ascendant. This is an indication that the native is not a forward moving and is lazy, but he has the courage to continue with any task without giving up easily. 16

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 th Moon is in Leo in the 7 bhava show the emotional past and the companions, the native had. In these two charts Moon’s position indicate the back ward motion to another past life prior to the first birth. The twelfth bhava is in Capricorn in both. Again it is going back to another past life, further back. The subconscious mind indicated by Saturn, and especially when Saturn was in Capricorn. 12th bhava indicates the spending, hidden enemies and losses of the native, back to another birth. No planets are occupying the 12th house in the twin births. But in the first birth it is occupied by Saturn and this planet was in conjunction with Kethu. This is an indication of hidden treasures in the first life. Therefore it is seen that some secrets and not surfaced. This Saturn is aspected in trine by Rahu and Venus from the 4th bhava. The Kethu is also aspected in trine by Mercury, Jupiter and Mars. According these beautiful aspects, the native will lead a good life and he would be fortunate to clear up lot of sins in this life. These analyses are done according to the rules in the infallible Krishnamurthi Paddhathi and some Western methods of reincarnation. LONG LIVE KRISHNAMURTHI PADDHATHI.

GOOD LUCK.

e observe in day to day life that a person’s job is not directly linked to his education, fast growth of IT sector giving opportunity to so many Engineers studied different subjects other than Computer or IT. Like this native done his Medicine degree doing interior designer job or IT or hotel management. Why such things are happening? While analyzing profession; we have to study carefully a chart and come to a conclusion while deciding the job after linking the 6th and 10th house to 9th house lord or karaka planet. Here we are analyzing a chart of a doctor applying the following rule of Jeeva and Sareera, we had studied so many charts of medical doctors after doing medicine they are not at all practicing medicine. Meena2 Naadi system and Jeeva &Sareera method is very useful indentifying success rate in education linked to profession. RULE “9th House Jeeva and Sareera planets having connection to 5th or 9th then the higher education is assured. If Sun or Mars’s Jeeva and Sareera planets are associated to 9th house also makes the native to study medicine and become very good Surgeon.” Stellar Effects in Astrology-Jeeva &Sareera-Dr.NVRA Raja (Meena2Jr) Example chart: 1 Date of birth : 22.05.1973 08.02am Dharmapuri, TamilNadu Male Sun, Mer

19

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 Sun is in the star of Sun. Sun along with group of planets, in the group Venus has become strongest planet, hence Venus snatched the Jeeva power from Sun, Jeeva planet Venus is in the star of Moon, hence Moon has become sareera planet.

Mars is in the star of Rahu, hence Rahu has become Jeeva planet of Mars, Jeeva planet Rahu is in the star of Venus and hence Venus has become Sareera planet of Mars.

The native did his MS (Surgeon), leading Surgeon in his home town. While observing here that his 9th lord Saturn’s Jeeva planet Mars is posited in ninth house, Sareera planet Rahu is in 5th lord star. 9th house Jeeva Plant Mars is aspecting Sun,Venus,Saturn and Mercury posited in 12th house. Higher studies combination linked to Sun and Mars made the native to study Medicine. He had joined his MBBS degree in Mars dasa (9th Jeeva Planet) Saturn bukthi(aspected by Jeeva planet Mars) and MS degree in Rahu dasa.((9th Sareera Planet)

Will he practise successfully? Sun posited in 12th house, Sun’s Jeeva planet Venus is conjoined with Saturn the 9th lord and being aspected by the 9th Jeeva planet Mars from 9th house. 6th and 11th house profession and success house respectively lord is Mars’s Jeeva Planet is Rahu and Sareera Planet is Venus. Once again we can see the connection of 6th and 11th lords Jeeva and Sareera planets connection to 9th and 5th house Jeeva and Sareera planets.

Whenever connection of 9th Jeeva &Sareera planets to 6th house and 11th house Jeeva and Sareera planets then the native flourishes in his profession, here the native is successful in Medical profession and leading surgeon due to strong connection of his higher studies with 6th and 11th Jeeva and Sareera Planets along with karaka planets the Sun and Mars.

querent from Saharanpur[U.P] asked me telephonically to check astrologically when her Mother who was not mentally sound and had left the home on dated 12-4-2009 uninformed will be found I asked Her to intimate any horary number between 1 to 249 Accordingly she told the number as 138 I made the K.P chart for the said number on dated 18-4-2009 at 5:51 P.M at Chandigarh. Moon Reveals the mind of consultant

Moon lord of 10 in 3 close to 4 its starlord is also Moon its in the sub of JUP deposited in 4th and JUP aspect house 12 and it is in sub sub of Venus in 5 lord of 8, So Moon is linked to 4[mother], 12[loss] and 8 [tension /anxiety] Hence Moon reveals mind of consultant having Tension/anxiety of her lost mother. K.P.Rule For the missing person First select ASC as per relation 4th house represent MOTHER, 9th house represent FATHER, 5th house represent 1st CHILD, 7th house represent 2nd CHILD and so on. In this case daughter asked question about her missing Mother so rotate the chart to consider 4th house as ASC of Mother. If 11 th CSL Signifies 2[12 th from 3] ,8[12 th from 9 th], 11[12 th from 12] one will come back in the joint significators of 2,8 & 11. To Check Cusp 11 11th cusp sublord is Merc in 4 lord of 6 as Merc is having no planet in its star so MERC becomes strong significator of 11 being sublord of 11 th cusp further Merc is in the star of Venus in 2 lord of 5 and it is in sub of Sat in 7 close to 8 and is lord of 1 and 2 Hence 11 th Cusp sublord signifies 2,8 and 11 so I informed the querent that her missing Mother will be Found /traced.

As RAHU IS Conjoined with another R.P Moon So RAHU is also included in R.P, So MOON, MERC, SATURAN AND RAHU ARE THE R.P. To check when she will return? 11 th sublord is Merc and it is in star of Venus. Both Mercury and Venus are fast moving planets So desire will be fulfilled quickly Moreover Asc starlord and Moon starlord of Ruling Planets Both being Moon Planet so return of missing mother is expected soon To calculate the Timings I decided to transist the position of Moon. On dated 18-4-2009 Moon was in Capricorn sign of Saturan and in the Sarvan Nakshtar of [Moon]. Next on dated 19-4-2009 it enters in Dhanishta Nakshtar of Mars as Mars is not Ruling. Planet So I ignored the Dhanishta Nakshtar of Mars. Next on dated 20-4-2009 Moon enters in Aquarius Sign of Saturan and Shatbhisa Nakshtar Of Rahu Both Saturan and Rahu are Ruling Planets So I Informed the querent that her missing Mother may return home soon probably on dated 20-4-2009 safe and sound. Where is her Mother? ASC Sublord oh her mother is Mars in 2 lord of 11 and it is in star of JUP IN 1 lord of 3 and 12 and it is in sub of Rahu in 12 Asc sublord of her mother is Mars which is in Pisces sign and it is Fruitful sign and So her mother is safe and sound. As Asc sublord is in Pisces a watery sign [lakes, Ponds,Rivers] and is significator of 3[short journey] and 12 [Hospital,Jail,Police station] So I informed the querent that her mother may Be found at a short distance[journey] from her residence in any Hospital /jail/police post etc near the river/lake site. Actual Facts Of The Case It was informed by the querent that her mother was traced in Haridwar[near Saharanpur] On dated 20-42009 in a Police Post on bank of Holy River Ganga She was found laundering Near the River Ganga by the police and kept in the Police Post because she was not mentally Sound so she could not explain her Particulars and address to the Policemen on duty. My Parnam to our Guru ji Sh K S Krishnamurti for this wonderful Padhdhati. 22

Significators of 2 or 6 or 10 or 11: Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu. Ruling Planets (20-08-2012, 15:10:14 Hrs., Park Street - 22N27, 88E20, Kolkata, W.B.) Day Lord (Monday) Moon Moon (Virgo 08-55-28) Mercury – Sun – Venus Lagna (Sagittarius 17-30Jupiter – Venus – Mars 29) Nodes Rahu – Ketu Fruitful (Common) Planets - Significator of 2 or 6 or 10 or 11 in Horary Chart and Ruling Planets at the time of judgment: Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Rahu. DBAS ANALYSIS Present Dasha Lord: Sun (from 13-02-2007 to 13-02-2013) Sun is not a fruitful (common) planet, but Sun is present under ruling planets. Sun posited in the star of Ketu. Ketu acts an agent of Jupiter (untenanted) who is the lord of 11, CSL of 10. Thus Dasha Lord Sun signifies (in the star of occupant or owner) 11, hence taken into consideration for getting job. Present Bhukti Lord: Venus (from 15-02-2012 to 13-02-2013) 26

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 Venus is a fruitful (common) planet. Venus posited in star of Rahu. Venus, being untenanted, is the occupant of 1, owner of 6, CSL of 1, 2, 7, 9. Starlord Rahu is the occupant of 6. Thus Bhukti Lord Venus signifies (in the star of occupant or owner) 2 and 6, hence taken into consideration for getting job. Present Anthra Lord: Jupiter (from 17-08-2012 to 05-10-2012) Jupiter is a fruitful (common) planet. As explained above, Jupiter signifies (in the star of occupant or owner) 10, 11 and in connection with 2, hence taken into consideration for getting job. My Opinion: Getting a job/service is assured in between the DBA (Dasha-Bhukti-Anthra) of SunVenus-Jupiter from 17-08-2012 to 05-10-2012. Actual fact: Prediction comes true. The native/querent got the job in the specified period as predicted. He joined the new organisation/company on 25th September 2012. Learning Facts: On 25th September 2012, Sun transits in star of Sun (Dasha Lord) and in the sub of Venus (Bhukti Lord). Pranaam to Guruji KSK ! Pranaam to my Guruji Sri P. Roychaudhary !

Editor’s Comments Readers to carefully note that Dr. Kothari has correctly and rightfully applied the Moon’s signification in KP Horary to gauge the reflection and genuineness of the querent’s mind apart from other brilliant application of KP principles. It is my pleasure to note that, like all authors of KP in this Journal, Sri Kothari ji has used authentic KP principles and application procedures.

Readers can also note that Dr. Kothari DID NOT make blind applications of Ruling Planets by discarding Sun as the Dasa lord simply because it was not appearing in the RP list. He applied scientific principles of original KP and got a correct prediction.

We salute Dr. Kothari for following the correct KP Methods

Vtáx fàâw|xá |Ç cÜxw|và|äx TáàÜÉÄÉzç Divorce.... When? A 4 Step Theory Analysis Sunil Gondhalekar Sri Sunil Gondhalekar is the inventor of 4 Step Theory. He developed this theory in 1990 after many years of painstaking research. Sri Gondhalekar is a mechanical engineering diploma holder, who has also studied KP technique from 1980 and is the winner of many awards and titles. From 1993, he is the editor of a Marathi language magazine of astrology: ‘Nakshatrache Dene’, published from Maharashtra, India. He has also published various books on astrology in Marathi such as ‘Vivaha Yoga’, courses on KP, Nakshatra Sandesh, Nakshatra Prabha, Nakshatra Triveni. Email: [email protected]

A lady asked me the query “When will I get divorce?”She informed me that the case is in the court and waiting for the result. She has furnished her birth details as follows: D.O.B.- 1st August 1980 T.O.B.-4.00 AM P.O.B.-Mumbai, 18N59; 72E50 The query was judged on 4th October 2011. For to get divorce we have to judge 7th cuspal sublord and it should signify 1-6-10-12 houses and it will materialized during the chain of these houses during DasaBhukti-Antara period. In the said chart 7th sub is Venus and it signifies as follows: PLANET : VENUS Itself :-------------- Venus:- 12 5 12

Saturn-Drusht 3 8 9

It's N.Swami :-------- Mars:- (4) (6) (11) It's Sub :------------ Ketu:- (8)

Rashi-Swami Saturn (3) 8 (9)

It's Sub's N.Swami :-- Mars:- (4) (6) (11) Here Venus signify 6th house also 4th house which is supportive house for divorce. Venus is in Mars star and both are in dual sign, hence possibility of divorce is indicated. Now let us check the DBA. At the time of judgments Ketu dasa,Mercury Bhukti was from 6th July 2011 to 2nd July 2012. Let us check the signification of Ketu and Mercury. PLANET : KETU Itself :-------------- Ketu:- (8)

Rashi-Swami Saturn (3) 8 (9)

It's N.Swami :-------- Mars:- (4) (6) (11) 29

JASA It's Sub :------------ Jupiter:- 3 7 10 It's Sub's N.Swami :-- Venus:- (12) (5) 12

Vol. 3 (1)

Jul-Sep 2013

Saturn-Drusht (3) 8 (9)

Here Ketu signify 6-4-12 houses and 3-9 houses which are favorable for legal divorce. PLANET : MERCURY Itself :-------------- Mercury:- 1 1 4 It's N.Swami :-------- Jupiter:- (3) (7) 10 It's Sub :------------ Ketu:- (8)

Rashi-Swami Saturn (3) 8 (9)

It's Sub's N.Swami :-- Mars:- (4) (6) (11) Here Mercury signify 3-6-9-4 houses. Now we have to select such Antara which signify 10th house. In the chart only Mars is strong significator of 10th house. Other planets also signify through Rahu signlord ship. But as per 4 step theory rules in such cases planet gives the result than of nodes. Mars Antara was from 3rd Jan.2012 to 24th Jan 2012. So I informed the lady that you will get divorce during month of Jan2012. The lady latter informed me that she got legal order of divorce on 11th Jan 2012. Hats off to 4 step theory !!!

I

have an assistant in my Office .She has got 1 daughter who has finished her Plus 2 examination .

Her daughter has applied for many Engg colleges . She was anxious to know her daughters admission . Her son lost vision at the age of 9 .Hence her hopes are pinned down on her daughter. She is always anxious to know about daughters future. She came to my room and asked me in which college her daughter would get admission . I asked her in how many colleges she has applied. She said that her daughter has applied in the following Engg Colleges where she is likely to get admission . 1. Sastra College ,Tanjore 2. Rajagiri College ,Cochin 3. Mar Baselious College ,Trivandrum 4. Amrita College,Kollam 5. Jyothi College ,Trichur 6. Vidya College,Trichur 7. Federal Bank College ,Cochin 8. Karunya College,Coimbatore Out of the above list, she wanted me to predict in which college her daughter would get admission. I did not feel like asking for a Horary No for each Option from her. Instead Shri Rajendra Nimjes Options Theory came to my rescue . I judged the chart at 12.6.2013 at 16:35:03 at Calicut . As per Options Theory : 1. Only Basic RPs are counted 2. Their Rasi total is taken into consideration 3. RPs in a star of a retrograde planet are rejected . Ruling planets at the time of judgement were 1. Asc Sign lord- Venus 2. Moon Star lord -Saturn 3. Moon Sign lord- Moon 33

JASA 4. Day lord - Mercury

Vol. 3 (1)

Jul-Sep 2013

Of the above, Moon is to be ommitted as Moon is in Saturn star and Saturn was retrograde at the time of judgement . Remaining planets are Venus, Saturn and Mercury . Their Rasi totals are 1. Venus - 2+7 =9 2. Saturn -10+11=21 3. Mercury - 3+6=9 RP total is 9+21+9 = 39 = 3+9=12=1+2 =3 Rule is : If options are 9 or less and single digit RP is less than the no of options , then the single digit RP becomes straightaway the option . Here single digit RP No is 3 and options are 8 . Hence 3rd option is the correct choice . ie Her daughter will get admission in Mar Baselious College . I told her .She was not that happy as Mar Baselious is a Christian College . 3 days later she told me that her daughter got an offer from Mar Baselious for Computer Science and they rejected the offer . I said Ok Later she told me that Sastra sent her daughter a rejection letter. After a week she told me that her daughter has got an interview call from Amrita College . Her daughter attended the interview . She got Electrical in Amrita. She paid the fees also in Amrita. She told me about the outcome . I said Ok . Later she asked me whether it was a wrong choice to say no to MarBaselious Computer Science as now she has landed up in Electrical .I said past is past and not to ponder over the same. Time rolled by . On 5.7.2013 , she rang me up and told me that her daughter has received offer for admission from Mar Baselious College for Electronics and Communication and she is going to accept the offer for sure . I was really surprised to note how the divinity was indicated to me as Option No3 as per the ruling planets ordain . I thank Shri Rajendra Nimje , the inventor of Options theory and Shri Andrew Dutta the editor of JASA to publish my article .

I

am discussing here the horoscope of a girl working in USA who is not married yet . Her parents asked me when she would get married. Whenever I get any chart , the authenticity of Birth details will be ensured and Dr Andrew Dutta’s Rule of Origin is the best method available .

Here the 1st Cusp co-owners and 9th Cusp co- owners are related very accurately. Hence birth details are correct. 7th Cuspal sublord is Jupiter. Jupiter is in the RPs. BTR is correct. Second step is to see the effect of planets Pluto, Uranus and Neptune in the 4 steps propounded by Shri Sunil Gondhalekhar . Shri Sunil Gondhalekhar has done painstaking research on the effects of above 3 planets and under his guidance , I have analysed various charts and I have many cases where the effect of destructive planet Pluto has played its havoc role especially in marriage . First let us see 7th cuspal sublord Jupiter. Let us see its significations . JUPITER : 2-Star-Lord is MER: 7 3 12 3-Sub-Lord is SAT: 5 Conjunction-Uranus 4-Star-Lord of SubLord is KET: 2 (MER 7 3 12 )(Asp-SAT 5) 2-Star-Lord is SUN: 6 7(cuspal) Since 5 and 7 are connected, love marriage will happen . Saturn in the 3rd step is conjoined with Uranus. Uranus gives sudden results. Saturns conjunction with Uranus will finalise the marriage suddenly and unexpectedly . Saturn is in the sub of Moon. Hence Ponarphoo dosha is there. 7th cuspal sublord Jupiter is in a dual sign .Second marriage cannot be ruled out. Let us fix the timing. 35

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 I give below the method of selecting fruitful significators out of the Joint significators of 2,7,11 houses which are the houses for marriage .7th is the main house and 2 and 7 are supporting houses .This method is taught by Dr Andrew Dutta in his 3 Level Complete KP Astrology Video Course1. Joint Significators 2- Sat (A),Moon(A), Ketu(B),Sun(D) 7-Mars(A),Jupiter(A),Mercury(B),Saturn (D) 11- Venus (D) Let us select the fruitful significators Tier 1 Strongest Fruitful significator – An effective significator planet of the required successful houses which is in the star of the cuspal sublord of the same successful houses . Here 2nd Cuspal sublord is Mercury. 7th Cuspal sublord is Jupiter 11th CSL is Saturn. We will select those planets which are in the star of Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn. Mars and Jupiter are in the star of Mercury .Rahu is in the star of Jupiter. Hence Mars, Rahu and Jupiter are the powerful Tier 1 significators . Tier 2 (Stronger Fruitful significator –Lesser than Tier 1)- An effective significator planet of the required successful houses which is in the sub of another untenanted significator of the same set of successful houses. Untenanted significators are Sat and Venus. Let us see which planets are in the sub of Saturn and Venus. Mercury and Jupiter are powerful Tier 2 fruitful significators as they are in the sub of Saturn. Tier 3 Significators (Strong Fruitful significator-Lesser than Tier 2) An effective significator planet of the required successful house which is in the star and sub of another significator of the same set of houses. All are in the star and sub of each other . Tier 3 significators are Saturn, Ketu ,Sun ,Moon Mars, Jupiter, Mercury , Saturn Venus Sun dasa is currently running. Sun is in the RP. Hence I select Sun Dasa for marriage. I select Jupiter Bhukti . Jupiter is a powerful Tier 1 significator. Jupiter is in RP. I select Mercury Anthara .Mercury is in the RP and is the strongest RP . Mercury is a Tier 2 significator . So I narrowed down to Sun/Jupiter/Mercury 1

Readers may visit the website www.kpastrologylearning.com for knowing the video course details.

JASA Vol. 3 (1) The above is from 12-11-2013 to 23-12-2013

Jul-Sep 2013

Now we will fix the date. Significators of 2,7,11 are Saturn, Moon, Ketu, Mercury, Sun, Mars ,Jupiter ,Venus Ruling Planets at the time of Judgment is Mer,Rahu,Ketu,Jupiter,Moon,Sun Common Planets are Moon,Ketu,Mer, Jupiter ,Sun Currently Sun is transiting in Gemini . When sun transits in Sagitarius and when it transits the combination , Jup/Ketu/Sun ie on Dec 18, 2013 , she will get married . To fix the date I verify using the Rule of Three2 As per Rule of Three, on the date of the event, at least any 3 Fruitful significators of the event related houses , which may or may not be the DBA lords will be found to 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Conjoin in the same rashi and house in tight orb or within 3 degree Individually or mutually aspect each other Occupy the event related houses Give rashi aspect to the event related houses Conjoin on their own or mutual Natal position in a tight orb of within 3 degree

On 18-12-2013 , Sun and Mercury are in 11th house .Sun is aspected by Jupiter and Moon . Jupiter is aspecting 2nd House. Saturn is aspecting 7th House . All the above planets are significators of house of marriage Hence my prediction is that she will get married on 18-12-2013 .However marriages are not celebrated upto Jan 14 as per custom. But here the marriage is going to be unexpected and love marriage. Hence customs will not prevail. However, the parents were firm that during Dec and January, they will not conduct the marriage . The next period when transits agree is Sun/Jup/Moon ie from 14.3.2014 to 7.4.2014 Sun will be transiting in Pisces during March 14 . On March 31st 2013, Sun will be transiting Jup/Mer/Kethu. Marriage will happen on 31.3.2013 . On that day, as per Rule of three , On 31.3.3014, a) b) c) d) e)

Jupiter is in 2nd house and aspecting 7th House Saturn has fallen into the 7th cusp Mercury,Sun and Moon are in 11th house . Jupiter is aspecting 11th house and Mercury Jupiter is aspecting Saturn

Rule of Three matches completely. Hence if the marriage happens to be unconventional, it will happen on 18.12.2013. Otherwise as per customs, it will happen on 31.3.2014

We wish Mr. Sadasivan all the very best for his future prediction.

KIRAN BEDI, is a Virgo lagna with Lagna Lord MERCURY posited in ninth house which happens to be YOGAKARAKA`s house. MERCURY also happens to be the tenth lord for this lagna is posited along with third and eighth lord Mars and Twelfth lord Sun. Lagna lord being in UTTAMA DREKKANA. She gained power, name and fame. ” Whenever Lagna lord is in Uttama drekkana that native will get prominence, name and power”. Meena23 Mercury is in the star of ROHINI, connected to Eleventh lord and Tenth lord in the Ninth house along with Sun and Mars, her job is with courage and confidence. Though Mercury as Lagna lord is in Uttama Drekkana, still he is with Eighth in the ninth house, and Mercury as tenth lord is retrograde and went to ninth house, parivarthana between Venus and Mercury, she could not work for full term, she took Voluntary retirement. The third house is the house of courage and leadership. The Third lord Mars is posited along with Lagna Lord Mercury, that too in the Eighth house with Sun, so she is very courageous and straight forward with patriotism and works in the interest of the country. Mars also being eighth lord, posited in the ninth house along with Lagna lord and tenth lord thus attaining Digbala. 3

10th lord Jupiter is in the star of Venus, and in the Kalamsa of Saturn. Kalamsa Lord Saturn is in the Star of Moon; hence Moon has become Jeeva planet of Kalamsa Lord Saturn. Jeeva planet Moon is own star, house sign Lord Mercury has to become Sareera planet. But the Mercury with group of planets and in this 44

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 Mars▲ is in its own house and snatching the Sareera power from Mercury and becomes Sareera planet. Kalamsa lord Saturn is in the star of Rohini 4th pada and attained Guna RRR. Kalamsa lord Saturn is being aspected the lord of 7th house Mercury from Scorpio and hence getting Digbala (Meena2 Naadi,). Kalamsa Lord Saturn’s Jeeva planet Moon is in its own star and also yoga karaka for Pisces Lagna and Sareera planet Mars is posited in its own house. Hence both the Jeeva and Sareera planets of Kalamsa lord have started giving good and benefic results. 10th lord Jupiter the Sathwic planet getting RRR Guna through its Kalamsa lord Saturn. Kalamsa Lord Saturn getting RRR guna through the Yoga karaka Moon, made the native to do well in her profession with good financial benefit. Kalamsa Lord Saturn possessing digbala and also strongly placed helped the native to get good status in her profession. Note here that she is running 10th Lord Jupiter dasa and Jupiter is getting RRR Guna through the Kalamsa Lord Saturn, made her to get good name and money in her profession. “If any bhava or karka lord’s Kalamsa Lord gets RRR(Rajasic, Rajasic, Rajasic) Guna then that bhava or karaka flourishes, and more good results can be expected if Jeeva and Sareera planets and Digbala supports the Kalamsa Lord.”

W

e will now discuss the salient features of Pushya Star, the eighth in this sequence, on lunar constellations.

Rasis are lifeless. Stars endow them with life. Mind is inert by its very nature. When it is in touch with the soul it gets life. I can cite an example here. Bulbs have no life of their own. They glow only when electricity flows to them. The signs of the Zodiac are endowed with life because of stars and planets. When Sun dominates over a chart, Sattwa guna is present; when Venus dominates , Rajoguna is present and when Mars dominates , Tamoguna is present. Therefore the qualities of a person have to be understood from the planets which own the navamsa sign- dispositor of Moon. Brihaspathi is the advisor of the Devas. He is the presiding deity for Pushya star . Brihaspathi was the son of sage Angirasa and Vasudha. Natives born in Pushya are knowledgeable and dharmic in nature. Through relentless pursuit of Dharma, they acquire wealth, luck and good fortune. They are generally consultants , advisors, priests and teachers. Brihaspathi represents Jupiter , who is considered the wisest of the planets. According to Varahamihira a person born in Pushyami star will be calm , affectionate, clever ,wealthy and dharmic in outlook. According to Parasara, a person born in Pushya will be sattwic, well-versed, one endowed with wife, children and servants and one who brings glory to family. According to Brihat Samhita a person born in the first quarter of Pushya will be long lived ; one born in the second quarter will usurp others’ wealth ; one born in third quarter will revel in social activities; one born in the fourth quarter will be wealthy. According to Jataka Parijata, “A person born in Pushyami will be devoted to Devas, Vedic pundits and elders; will be modest, will have the power of forbearance , will serve society and thereby earn the respect of the government and will be blessed with friends. Though Pushyami is an auspicious star , it is not recommended as a good star for marriage; it is good for other activities. For the sacred thread ceremony, this is a particularly good star. The two books on astrology which gives extensive guidelines on Muhurthas are Kalaprakasika and Muhurtha Chintamani. The author of Muhurtha Chintamani has prescribed the guidelines based on whether the star is Mridu, chara, Dhruva, Ugra, Kshipra or Tikshna, while the author of Kalaprakasika places more emphasis on the individual qualities of each nakshatra . Thus any student of Astrology should follow both these guidelines to take an appropriate view on star selection . For instance, in 48

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 Agriculture for the first use of grains, the author of Kalaprakasika suggests avoiding the months Ashada, Margashisra and Magha while the author of Muhurtha Chintamani suggests avoidance of Chaitra and Pushya (note the word “Pushya”used above refers to the lunar month, not the star Pushya, we are discussing). Pushya is a favorable star for harvesting, gathering and storing grains. An appropriate Muhurtha should be determined for ploughing land each time. The first time a piece of land is ploughed is particularly important and great care should be taken in selecting the Muhurtha as the time of first ploughing influences the land for as long as it is farmed. For this activity Shukla Paksha is favourable and Krishna Paksha is unfavourable. Pushya is a favourable star for this activity along with Rohini, Punarvasu, Uttaraphalguni, Hasta, Anuradha, Moola, Uttarashadha and Uttarabhadrapada. In addition to the normally favoured stars, the Janma Nakshatra and the tenth star are specifically favoured. Ploughing in Chaturthi thithi destroys the crop through pests, navami damages the crop while chaturdasi endangers the life of the owner. Kalaprakasika gives the following results to the Lagna; Aries is fatal to cows; Taurus, Gemini and Cancer promise good harvest; Leo damages the crops ; Virgo gives good yield; Libra causes luxurious growth; Scorpio damages crop through fire; Sagittarius promotes fertility; Capricorn gives abundant harvest; Aquarius causes trouble from thieves while Pisces promotes prosperity. Pushya is also favourable for sowing seeds and planting. It is also good for boat building and launching. Pushya is a favourable star for business transactions including buying and selling, other suitable stars being Ashwini, Rohini, Mrgasira, Ardra, Punarvasu, Makha, Uttararaphalguni, Satabhisha, Uttarabhadrapada and Revathi. Pushya is a good star for repayment of debts. It is a favourable star for adoption of children. Breast feeding should be done once the umbilical cord is cut , as soon as the baby starts feeding. Due to some reasons if this is not possible, then the same can be commenced in Pushyami star. Other suitable stars are Mrgasira, Punarvasu, Hasta, Sravana and Revati. The first time a child’s hair is cut is known as “chowlam” one of the Hindu samskaras. The Rishis in their infinite wisdom were able to understand the profound truth that there exists a link between “chowlam” and health. Therefore this is considered as an important Samskara. When “chowlam” is performed in “Pushya” star , it bestows riches upon the child. It is also desirable to seek a good Muhurtha for wearing new clothes. For instance, Jyestha star is an inauspicious one and one should not wear new clothes on that day. There is another rule which states that one should wear new clothes on one’s birthday. Let us say, a person is born in Jyestha star, so that his birthday occurs in Jyestha. Should he wear new clothes on his birthday or not? Yes, he should wear new clothes. Special rules in Astrology override general rules. That one should not wear new clothes in Jyestha is a general rule, which is inapplicable to a person born in Jyestha star on his birthday. On days ruled by Jyestha, the said person should not wear a new cloth, other than on his birthday. Wearing a new cloth on Pushya bestows prosperity. Pushya is an auspicious star for construction and related activities. One can start learning a new craft such as carpentry , knitting, sculpture or painting on a day ruled by this star . Pushya is a suitable star for minting coins. Now that paper currency has replaced coins, one can say, without fear of contradiction that currency notes can be printed on a day ruled by Pushya. These days one seldom comes across a child not participating in extra curricular activities. When I was in school and college, boys were afraid of playing cricket, because parents used to scold them for wasting time on sports rather than utilize their valuable time on studies. Their standard remark was “ Time spent on cricket is ill-spent” and this argument used to be supported by G.B.Shaw’s saying “cricket is a game played by 22 fools, watched by 22000 fools”. Today, these views have changed and parents are happy to send their children to a good Cricket Academy. To start learning dance, music, acting or any other art , 49

JASA Vol. 3 (1) Jul-Sep 2013 Pushya is a favourable star. There are certain specific subjects , one can master if started in Pushya. These are Logic, Astrology and the other Vedangas, all sciences, Vedas and fine arts. Pushya is a good star to employ a servant. According to Kalaprakashika , Pushya is a suitable star for Grihapravesa, or entering a new house. One can a wear a new jewellery in Pushya asterism. A disease which sets in on Pushyawill get cured within seven days. Coronation of a king or a swearing- in of a Head of State, such as President or Prime Minister can take place while Moon is in Pushya arterism.

From the book Nadi astrology (Accurate predictive methodology) In this third part I will show how to predict the colour of the vehicle just looking at the DashaBhukti- Antara periods. Real life cases charts are given for illustration my own chart and my relatives charts . Rules Colour of the vehicle is signified by the planets of the DBA at the time of purchase. Stronger of the DBA will indicate the colour of the car or vehicle. However if all are equally strong the colour will be mixture of all the colours signified by the three DBA planets. Bhukti - antara lords usually gives the exact colour than dasha lord in my humble opinion . Next vehicle up to date 14/09/2002 purchase a Hyundai Scoupe 1,5 dark metallic blue colour in DBA of Mo-Ra-Ra. Moon signifies 4,12 in star and sub for purchase of vehicle, Rahu 4,12 in sign and star = dark blue colour. Next vehicle purchase up to date 21/02/ 2003 purchase a Hyundai coupe’ 1,6 black colour up to date 21/02/2003 in DBA Mo-Ra-Sat. Mo , Ra and Saturn discuss before and signifies dark black colour. Next purchase of vehicle in date 20/09/2005 a Kia Picanto black colour in DBA of Mo-Sa-Me. All planets signifies purchase of vehicle , the bhukti lord Saturn = black colour. In this chart purchase of vehicle up to date 31/07/2005 a Smart forfor grey, white car in DBA of Sat-SatVenus. Saturn signifies 4,11 in star level and Venus signify only 11 in sign but as discuss before is the karaka so it is always strong for this event. Saturn = black and Venus = white. Conclusions Readers can test this rule also with KP astrology , sometimes the period of purchase of vehicle could differ a little from actual date ( 2 or 3 months from event) changing with the antara period the colour . In all my personal cases it always worked very well so I decided to write on it for benefit of readers and astrologers.

Senior astrology practitioners are invited to send their ‘knowledge inputs’ on any branch of stellar astrology for publishing in this section – ‘Classroom’.
