The Nature of Magick    I’ve heard it many times:    “What if you just don’t believe in Magick? How can it work or  have any effect?”    That’s a great question, and here’s the answer:    Magick operates on the following premises:    1.  Science  cannot  explain  everything  at  this  time,  if  it  ever  will...  but  yet  scientists  too  believe  everything  vibrates  at  a  certain rhythm and thus releases energy when doing so...    2. Magick is defined as a process of using these energies that  are not understood by ordinary people [even some scientists]  to produce known effects...    3. Therefore, even scientists would have to agree, that by this  definition, there is much magick left in the world.    You do not have to “believe’' in magick, any more than you  have to believe in “science” for it to work. It is simply a fact of  life that both exist.    The difference between science and magick is simply the level  of  understanding,  and  ease  of  repeatability  of  results;  even  then the line can be indistinguishable between the two.   

The  difference  between  the  scientist  and  the  sorcerer  is  simply the goal:    • The scientists seek to understand the phenomena in terms  of some mathematical model or in terms of the mechanism at  work.    • The sorcerer seeks to use the phenomena without regards  to understanding the nature of the mechanism(s) at work.    Of  course,  there  are  extremes.  Most  do  seek  to  at  some  /  point  exploit  the  findings  into  some  application.  And  many  sorcerers  put  forth  theories  as  to  how  they  think  the  mechanism  of  their  magick  works.  These  basic  definitions  create a boundary line between science and magick that are  crossed by both scientists and sorcerer alike.    So it is not a matter of belief as to whether or not something  is possible. What matters is how real a phenomenon actually  is.    There  was  a  time  when  many  people  didn’t  "believe”  that  gunpowder  existed,  or  that  a  substance  like  that  was  even  possible. Belief had no place in its existence.    So I will share with you the following concept:    Almost anything is possible through magick if you know how.  This is a fundamental basis for our universe. It is a phenomena  associated with a universe based on free will.   

Let me explain:    In order to have free will, it is necessary to have:    Reality (which offers choices)    Perception, (the ability to distinguish reality)    Self Awareness, (which includes: A belief system with concept  of  Morality/Ideal  Reality/”  and  Subconscious  Life‐Wili,  (an  order generating phenomena that is the basis for life itself.    Given the history of invention, I would suggest that the only  limitations  on  the  eventual  potential  abilities  of  science  are  simply resources and imagination.    Therefore, anything you want to achieve is possible, if you can  just  figure  out  how  to  do  it.  This  does  not  mean  that  any  process is viable, it just suggest that any result may be!    This then means that magick is a valid process, if not a well  understood one, as long as it brings about the results that are  intended. It is just as valid as scientific processes, which also  have  qualified  amounts  of  uncertainty  and  confidence  associated with them.    So  our  belief  system  can  make  something  real;  i.e.  make  something possible. It is a combination of visualising a goal,  chanting  some  words  in  rhythms  known  as  spells  or  even  using certain paraphernalia to make it possible or real.   

Now this covers magick in it basic sense.   

Take An Evil Spirit Sent To You And Return It To  The Sender    There are times when a persistent illness and/or a persistent  run of bad luck in your personal affairs stems from an evil spell  cast on you by an enemy. Unless this evil spell is broken, you  will continue to be unlucky and unhappy for most of your life.  If you have reason to suspect that your current misfortunes  stem from evil magick set to work against you by an enemy,  then perform the following magickal ritual in accordance with  the instructions given below:    1. First of all, you must find out whether your misfortunes are  the results of evil magick directed against you by a secret or  open enemy. At anytime on the night of the full moon (by the  way, you can find out the dates on which the moon becomes  full by consulting any good wall calendar or diary) put on the  fire  a  clean  cooking  pan  containing  2  pints  of  clean  water.  Fetch any silver coin and put it into the water in the pan after  holding  the  coin  in  your  left  hand  for  a  few  minutes.  Stand  watching the coin for a long time while you wait for the water  to  come  to  the  boil.  When  the  water  begins  to  boil,  pay  greater attention to the coin. If the coin begins to rattle and  jingle  repeatedly  and  turns  over  a  number  of  times  then  accept  this  as  a  fact:  someone,  somewhere  has  put  an  evil  spell or has worked some other evil magick on you. However,  if the coin stays flat and unmoved in the water, as a coin will 

normally do, then there is no evil magick working against you;  in that case, your problems are due to non‐magickal causes.  2. Before you conduct the above‐mentioned test, buy 9 new  needles  and  9  new  pins  (both  in  any  sizes  ‐  although  the  needles  should  be  of  the  same  size  as  should  the  pins)  and  have them ready near the boiling water. If you establish, by  watching  the  coin  in  the  boiling  water,  that  you  have  been  bewitched, then set about to remove the spell over you, and  to return it to its sender, by doing the following:    (a) Put the 9 needles and the 9 pins into the boiling water and  make a wish ‐ that the effects of the spell should go away from  you  and  return  to  the  sender,  et  cetera.  Keep  the  water  boiling until it has gone down in volume to about  one pint;  then repeat your wishes. Continue boiling the water until the  volume  reaches  about  one‐half  of  a  pint  and  repeat  your  wishes once again. Then take the pan off the fire, remove the  coin, the needles, and the pins and wrap them up together in  a clean handkerchief (your own).    (b) Pour the remainder of the water into a glass or cup, allow  it  to  cool,  and  then  drink  all  of  it.  Anytime  before  midnight  that same night or the next night (but certainly not later than  three nights after you boil the water), take the wrapped‐up  pins,  needles  and  coin  and  throw  the  handkerchief  (containing  these  items)  into  any  running  water  (stream/river).  Throw  it  over  your  left  shoulder  into  the  water; stand with your back to the water as you do so. Repeat  your wishes just before you throw the ‘bundle’ into the water.  You may, if you wish, stand on a bridge that crosses the river  or stream to throw the bundle into the water; but in that case 

stand  facing  the  direction  of  flow  of  the  river  (that  is,  your  back  should  be  toward  the  opposite  direction  of  flow).  However, if you can do so safely, then it is preferable to stand  close to the bank of the river or stream to throw the bundle  into the water.    (c) Return home without watching to see where, in the water,  the bundle fell.     The evil spell will automatically be removed and return to the  sender. However, if the sender had anticipated the possible  return  of  the  evil  force  he  (or  she)  sent  upon  you,  he  may  protect himself against its return upon him. In that case, the  evil force could descend upon an unprotected person closely  associated with the evil magician; alternatively, the evil force  may  remain  ‘floating’  in  space,  waiting  to  be  subsequently  attracted and exploited by an evil magician for his or her evil  activities.   

Make  Someone  Close  To  You  Give  You  More  Money Regularly    If you have a lover, a spouse (i.e., marriage partner), parent,  etc,  who  is  rather  closefisted  with  you,  you  can  make  the  person give you more money ‐ and more regularly, too ‐ by  performing the following magickal rite. Please proceed along  the lines given below:     1.  Remove  the  insoles  of  a  pair  of  used  (and  possibly  discarded) shoes belonging to the person whom you wish to 

influence. Cut off a small piece from each of the insoles once  they are removed. Alternatively, you may, rather than remove  the whole insoles, just cut off a small piece from each insole.  Keep these cuttings on a piece of clean, black cloth.    2.  Cut  off  small  pieces  from  the  soles  (not  the  insoles  this  time) of each one of the same pair of shoes. Put these cuttings  on the piece of black cloth as well.    3.  Sew  up  the  cuttings  (of  insoles  and  of  soles)  in  the  black  cloth  with  black  thread  and  a  needle.  Purchase  a  phial  (or  preferably  several  phials)of  Jockey  Club  Oil  ‐  which  you  can  purchase from any of the several occult‐goods suppliers who  advertise in occult magazines such as ‘Prediction’ and the like.  Anoint  the  black  cloth  (with  the  cuttings  sewn  in  it)  with  several drops of the Jockey Club Oil. Then hold the black cloth  in  your  left  hand  and  make  your  wishes,  making  sure  to  mention the person’s name as you do so.    4. Keep the black cloth on your person or near you (in your  pocket, wallet, purse, etc) most of the time. Every day, anoint  the cloth with a few drops of the Jockey Club Oil and repeat  your wishes. As time passes, you will notice that the person  concerned,  out  of  his  or  her  ‘own  volition’,  gives  you  more  money ‐ and more frequently too! If you want to request a  specific sum of money from this person, first make your wish  over  the  black  cloth  (when  holding  it  in  your  left  hand  as  usual) before going to see the person personally about your  request.   

Get  Rid  Of  Someone  Who  Is  Making  You  Unhappy    When performed properly it assuredly will force the particular  person  to  go  away  on  their  own  accord;  they  will  suddenly  lose  interest  in  you  and  leave  you  alone;  they  will  feel  uncomfortable in your presence and  give you a wide berth,  not bothering you again. To perform this ritual, please follow  the simple instructions set down below:    1. Buy four new, long, needles of the same size and some red  thread.  Place  the  needles  together,  an  end  of  one  over  the  end of another, so that they form a square. The square or the  oblong, in black magick, is the symbol of a coffin.    Proceed  to tie the  ends of the  needles firmly together with  the  red  thread  so  that  when  this  is  completed  the  needles  form the square referred to above.    2. Get several strands of the person’s hair (from the head) by  any  of  the  methods  described  in  the  preceding  rituals  and  rites. Put this hair into a tiny, clean, bottle with a stopper and  stop up the bottle firmly. 3. Place the small bottle containing  the hair and the ‘crossed’ or ‘squared’ needles into a piece of  red cloth that is large enough to wrap up both the bottle and  the needles. Use a needle and red thread to sew the ends of  the red cloth together so that the bottle and the needles are  enclosed in the cloth.   

4. Hold the sewed‐up cloth in your left hand, focus your mind  on the person and what you want to happen to them and then  make your wishes over the cloth.    Take the cloth to any river or stream and throw it over your  left  shoulder  (when  you  are  standing  with  your  back  to  the  water) into the water.  Quite soon after that, the person concerned will leave town  on their own accord; they will move from place to place, from  town to town, unable to settle down for long. They will not be  contented  wherever  they  go  to  and  they  will  keep  roaming  about until they die.   

Keep  A  Woman  And  Make  Sure  She  Never  Leaves    This simple magickal rite, when performed in accordance with  the  simple  instructions  provided  below,  will  enable  you  to  keep your beloved woman ‐ wife, girlfriend, et cetera ‐ with  you always. You may quarrel and she may, consequently, even  threaten to leave you, but pay no attention to her threats: for  she can’t go anywhere, she can’t leave you! The details of the  said magickal rite are as follows:    1. Go to a cemetery anytime, night or day. At the cemetery,  choose one of the graves and proceed to dig underneath the  headstone or atop the grave. Before you dig, though, say that  you went to the cemetery and the particular grave in peace.  Dig down to a depth of about six inches and collect some dirt  from  that  depth.  Place  the  dirt  (i.e.,  soil)  into  an  envelope. 

Place an odd number of coins in the hole and cover the hole  and  coins  before  leaving  for  your  home  with  the  envelope  containing the graveyard dirt.    2. At home, cut a piece off an item of used clothing (preferably  a dirty, unwashed one) belonging to the woman in question.  Fetch a piece of lodestone and wrap it in the item of clothing  (the  cutting).  Then  put  the  graveyard  dirt,  the  cloth  cutting  and the lodestone into a small wide‐mouthed bottle or other  container  with  a  stopper.  Hold  the  bottle  (with  the  named  items in it) in your left hand, concentrate your thoughts on it  for a while, and state your wishes over it. In other words, say  all that you want the woman in question to do for you ‐ that  you wish her to love you always, not to leave you for another  man, to remain faithful to you, and so on.    3.  Replace  the  stopper  and  go  to  bury  the  bottle  in  your  garden. Dig deep into the ground, put the sealed bottle into  the  hole  before  covering  it.  All  the  foregoing  must  be  done  without the woman in question ever finding out what you are  doing or have done in this wise. If you do not have a garden  then simply keep the bottle somewhere in the house which  you share with the woman concerned. If you live apart, simply  keep the bottle either buried in the ground near your home  or  among  your  possessions.  In  the  latter  case  especially,  please be most careful ‐ to ensure that the woman does not  find the concealed bottle.   

Attract Money   

This  spell  is  designed  so  you  can  make  yourself  a  money  magnet.    This  magnet  will  attract  money  to  you.  Money  is  an  energy  and as energy flows, so you will be changing the direction of  the flow, instead of more money going to the undeservia9, t  little bit will go to you.    For this spell you will need to use a silver coin of any value.  Try to use one that is small, like a five pence piece, or twenty  pence  piece.  You  will  need  a  bowl  of  water  into  which  you  should put some salt. Wash the coin in this substance and dry  it.    Now  take  a  green  candle  and  inscribe  on  it  the  letters  "MMM".    Hold the candle and say:    "This candle will bring money to me from this day forth".    Now  light  the  candle  and  let  some  wax  fall  on  the  coin.   Quickly  place  the  candle  on  top  of  the  coin,  so  it  is  waxed  there. You will need to keep an eye on the candle, as it burns,  for it will not be totally stable because of the coin. This may  cause the candle to fall and start a fire, so do be careful. Once  the candle is stuck to the coin voice your monetary desires.  Say:   

"By the power of fire, by the vibrations of this candle, by the  colour green, make me a magnet with the pull of the poles. As  I will it, it is so. So mote it be."    You  have  now  constructed  a  money  magnet.  It  will  bring  money to you often.    With the above spells you will find that everything you touch  seems to turn to gold, as you gain the midas touch. Do not  hoard your money. As explained earlier, money is an energy.  This energy should be allowed to flow  through your life. By  hoarding your wealth you will stop  the flow, and you  could  lose everything you gained. So don't be afraid to spend money  and enjoy yourself.    Each incarnation is too short to worry about finances.    After the successful outcome of your spells, give thanks. Take  some fruit or milk and give it to the soil. Dig a hole and put  your offerings in it. This is great for the soil and it will please  the earth spirits. This will  make it much easier  to gain their  help again in the future.    Take  your  time  with  spells,  don't  rush  them.  This  may  discourage the earth spirits from helping you. Treat the spirits  with  respect  and  they  will  do  likewise.  Remember  you  are  much  more  superior  than  these  creatures,  so  use  your  intelligence to your advantage.   

Eliminate Bad Memories   

Used to rid oneself of potentially damaging blocked, or denied  memories. The premise for this rite is that we all have blocked  memories  in  ourselves  that  we  either  won't,  or  can't  face.  They may include everything from being teased at school by  our  'friends'  to  emotional,  physical,  or  mental  abuse  by  parents, loved ones, etc.    The purpose of this rite is to draw these hidden memories up  into a closed box, open it in a manner similar to the Pandora  myth, and meet, greet, and make peace with the memories,  as they can be very detrimental to one's ego growth if kept  hidden.    Instead  of  finding  hope  in  our  boxes  though,  we  will  find  acceptance, and peace with oneself, and one's past.     This  rite  is  good  for  anyone,  even  those  who  assume  they  have had perfect childhoods. You don't always realize the past  is  dragging  you  down  until  it  is  too  late,  and  you  would  be  amazed by what you can find out about yourself!    You will need:  • Yellow' candles  • A box of any shape, or size  • Incense (any type,)  •  Music  of  a  childlike  nature  may  be  used  to  enhance  the  atmosphere  • A group of 3 persons or more…    Preparation: The box should have a lid. Paint the inside glossy  black,  or  line  it  with  an  irregular  reflective  surface,  such  as 

aluminium  foil.  The  outside  should  be  decorated  with  any  drawings, pictures, or whatever one may want to help evoke  a  childlike  state  of  mind,  and  to  help  trigger  childhood  memories.    Start with an opening of any sort you feel comfortable with.  Light candles and incense as desired. State the intent:    "It is my will to greet my past, and accept it for what it is."    Recite the invocation:    "I call the past to meet the present, that the future may be  bright. I bring myself forth from the dark, and hold me to the  light. Let not the past control my present, let not my future be  dark as night. I meet and greet me with open arms, and move  back into the light."    At this point, one person sits in the center of the group with  their box, keeping it closed. She focuses on the box while the  rest of the participant’s circle around, teasing, insulting, and  degrading  her.  At  this  point,  the  teasing  should  not  be  too  personal. When she reaches gnosis, she opens the box, and  gazes  inside,  seeing  whatever  she  sees.  At  this  point,  the  taunting should reach a more personal, and vicious attitude.    This continues until they close their box again. The box then  is  dealt  with  in  whatever  manner  she  sees  fit.  It  can  be  destroyed, left open in a spot of sunlight, kept for future uses,  as it may be a good idea to do this more than once. When the 

first  person  is  finished,  another  takes  her  place,  until  the  entire group has a turn. Banish by laughter and embraces. 

  Knot Spell    If  there  is  a  situation,  problem,  possible  menace  you  are  facing, there is a Vudu knot spell for this. Take the cord and  firmly visualize the problem in all its agonizing detail. Become  emotional  about  it;  seethe  with  anger,  crumble  into  tears,  whatever works.    Then firmly tie the knot. Walk away from it, out of the room  if possible. Take a shower, eat, do whatever will get your mind  off the spell and allow you to relax. When vour emotions are  stabilized return to the knot. With calm and peace untie the  knot.    See the problem vanishing; dissolving into a dust that is swept  away by the cleansing, refreshing North wind. It is done.    Find Lost Object    Take an object from the area in which you lost the item and  hold that item in your hands. Carefully visualize the item you  have lost and open your mind to the impressions that you feel  from the item that you are holding.    After a while, you should be able to see the lost item and see  where  it  went  to  and  how  it  got  there.  Remember  NOT  to 

cloud your vision with preconceived thoughts of where and  what happened to the item you are looking for.    Remember:  An  open  mind  sees  more  clearly  than  one  "fogged" with "clouded" thoughts! 

  The  Ritual  of  Satanacha  To  Make  Women  Submit    At  midnight  on  a  Monday,  Friday  or  Saturday  night  sit  in  a  darkened room lit by a white candle on a table in front of you.     Say:    Come, Satanacha! Come, Satanacha! Come, Satanacha!  Now  sit  and  wait  until  you  feel  the  presence  of  someone  standing behind you. Do not turn around. To do so will cause  the spell to be broken. When you feel that Satanacha is in the  room with you, say:     “I ask that you make every woman submit to my will  In the Name of your Master, Lucifer, make it so.  Close your eyes and relax.  Allow your mind to wander as it will.  After a few moments, open your eyes and say:  O Spirit Satanacha, I thank thee.”    Extinguish the candle.   

Doll Magic 

  How can a doll/fetish affect one’s life so much? Why does it  work? Often I am asked these questions or similar ones. So  before  relating  more  about  the  dolls,  I  will  try  to  answer  in  simple words the truth behind all mental magic.    You must understand that we in this world live under certain  immutable universal laws. Live within these laws and you will  prosper;  fail  to  live  within  these  laws  and  you  will  never  become rich or happy.    I will try and outline these laws for you in a way that will be  interesting,  skipping  the  long  dry  words  of  scholarly  text  books.  I  will  just  give  you  a  few  simple,  easy  to  understand  words of undeniable truth.    The laws of which I speak are not man‐made laws; they are  Universal Laws, and the first important point to grasp is that  they  are  designed  solely  for  our  advantage.  They  are  immutable and no one can escape from them: so the key to a  successful life is to live within these laws. Do this and we will  become happy and prosperous.    If  we  are  suffering  all  kinds  of  difficulties,  such  as  poverty,  poor health, strained relationships with others, and so on, this  is a clear sign that we are not living within these laws. And the  one law that most of us unwittingly break is to refuse to give  away those things we no longer need; or we refuse to accept  what we require.   

I know it is hard to part with old friends; the old jacket or dress  seems so much more comfortable than the new. But we must  part with the old in order to make way for the new, otherwise  we cannot hope to grow mentally.    We  live  in  a  universe  that  is  always  changing;  so  we  must  exchange the old for the new. But why is this? Because we can  only receive back what we give out. We can receive nothing if  we do not give. You cannot receive something in return for  nothing. In those cases where it seems something for nothing  has been gained, that something brings in its train nothing but  trouble and disaster. Mental sorrow for a material gain.    Read  the  foregoing  again  before  you  read  this  paragraph  which will then make sense. There is no actual power in the  object that forms a fetish: what it is is a link with the Universal  Mind: through the voice and mental effort of its owner it can  exchange mental energy for cosmic energy and transmit it to  another realm of being where it can be exchanged again ‐ this  time  for  the  material  object  desired  by  the  owner  of  the  fetish.    The rituals are designed to enable the owner to make contact  with that other plane where mind is All. The fetish operates  according to the Law of Attraction.     It is important for us to grasp that the Law of Attraction will  operate  only  to  bring  those  things  which  will  be  to  their  advantage.   

Why rituals sometimes fail is that the things for which we ask  will not be to our advantage; hence the Law of Attraction will  not  operate  to  provide  the  thing  asked  for.  So  if  you  have  failed with your rituals in the past, i.e. you didn’t receive the  things you asked for, then you should look closely at what you  requested. Try and see in your mind’s eye the end results of  having those requests granted.    The  power  of  the  fetish  can  be  stupendous,  and  without  limits.  Our  own  fetish  can  help  us  go  from  strength  to  strength;  victory  after  victory  will  be  ours.  Enemies  can  be  changed into friends; fate can be made to work in our favour;  obstacles eliminated, and life changed to suit our pattern. All  this the fetish can do, but without you the fetish is nothing.    The green doll will act as your magnet for drawing money and  material  possessions  into  your  life.  For  making  important  decisions  in  your  life  ‐  decisions  that  could  make  the  difference  between  pain  and  sorrow  and  health  and  happiness  ‐  you  will  need  to  make  a  blue  doll.  Once  made,  hold  the  blue  doll  in  your  right  hand  whilst  raising  the  forefinger of your left hand to your lips. Place your moistened  forefinger on the head of the doll saying:    ‘The Almighty Creator of the universe, I pray to Thee now to  be with me at this moment. Please help and assist me in my  hour  of  need.  With  my  breath  of  life  I  have  dedicated  this  material doll to your all powerful keeping. My astral fluid now  flows through this doll; let it prove faithful to its purpose, this  I humbly ask of Thee.’   

Now  pause  for  a  few  minutes  and  then  say:  'Almighty  universal spirit, I thank Thee for Thy blessing, Look upon me  with favour as I bid Thee farewell. Amen.  Your  doll  is  now  magically  charged  so  please  treat  it  with  respect.  Next,  take  a  large  sheet  of  paper  and  draw  a  line  down the middle of it. At the top of the right hand side of the  line write Tor’, and under this write all the reasons why you  should make a 'yes’ decision. At the top of the left side of the  line write ‘Against’ and write below in detail why you should  say  ‘no’.  When  you  have  done  all  this  read  everything  you  have written; and then think really hard about your dilemma,  and do this for as much time as you need ‐ five minutes, half  an hour, or whatever.    When  you  have  finished  thinking  about  your  dilemma  take  the doll in your right hand, whilst seated, and place your left  hand on your knee or the arm of your chair. Spread out the  fingers of your left hand and ask the question, ‘Is it yes or no?’  Watch  your  forefinger:  if  the  answer  is  ‘yes  you  will  see  it  actually trying to rise. Just watch it but do not try to influence  it.  Obviously  if  there  is  no  movement  in  your  forefinger  whatsoever  your  inner  mind  is  giving  you  a  very  emphatic  ‘no.’    The blue doll can also be used for gaining information about a  certain subject.    For example, if you are studying or researching something for  which you need as much information as possible you may find  this  of  invaluable  help;  but  beware,  some  might  call  this  necromancy or black magic. You decide for yourself. Speaking 

for myself, I have no compunction about using the blue doll in  such a manner.     For those who want to try it, here’s what you do. Darken the  room and light a white candle. Draw on a large sheet of plain,  white paper a circle and write within the circle the name of an  expert on the subject which interests you, and it must be the  name of a person whom you know to be dead. Now place the  doll over the name you have just written. Moisten (with your  mouth) the forefinger of your right hand and touch the doll’s  head with same, saying ‘I baptize thee (state the name of the  dead person). Oh great ruler of the universe I call on Thee to  send  one  of  your  great  manifestations  to  be  here  with  me.  Bring back through this doll the memory of him whose name  is inscribed in this circle. I have charged this, my hand‐made  fetish; and earthed its power through the fluid of my body. Let  its great power now seep through my mind and bring back all  the memories of this soul whose name is now inscribed on my  heart. Let the knowledge of this soul who now rests in peace  be given unto me as and when I have need of it. So be it. Dwell  on  what  you  have  just  said  and  then  extinguish  the  candle,  saying, ‘I thank Thee, O great immortal spirit for sending me  the  power  through  one  of  Thy  manifestations  of  energy.  Thanking Thee I bid Thee now recall this manifestation; let it  return  to  its  own  blessed  realm  and  to  which  I  bid  a  fond  farewell.’ Now go about your business with the full confidence  that the knowledge you seek will be granted.    I shall now show you how to call upon the Gods of Voodoo to  make you rich ‐ possibly very rich. The following invocation is  powerful and can be harmful if not carried out correctly, so 

please  read  the  instructions  carefully  and  think  carefully  before you proceed.  For this invocation you will need your green doll hung around  your neck.    Make  sure  it  hangs  securely  for  under  no  circumstances  should it fall loose whilst carrying out these instructions.    You should read up on one or two self‐made wealthy people  whom  you  know  to  be  deceased.  You  don't  have  to  read  a  whole  biography:  it  is  sufficient  for  you  to  know  just  their  name and a rough idea of their life. It is important that their  wealth  was  self‐made,  not  inherited,  and  that  they  died  wealthy.  For  goodness  sake  don’t  choose  someone  who  inherited wealth and fortune and blew it all on women and  drink and died penniless.    You will need a large sheet of white paper on which you will  draw a large circle in black ink. Write inside this circle at the  top  your  name  and  underneath  the  name  of  your  chosen  wealthy person. Next, position three black candles inside the  circle. Position one candle over your name and the other two  on each side of the name underneath, thus creating a triangle  of candles. The first candle represents yourself, the candle on  the  right  of  the  deceased  represents  him  and  the  left  represents his spirit.    With  your  right  hand,  touch  your  heart,  forehead  and  lips.  Then place the forefinger of your right hand on the head of  your doll whilst speaking the following. ‘I (say your full name)  call upon the Gods of Akovadoun to bring forth the spirit of he 

who is named between the two candles, I place myself under  the protection of Marassa, the twin Gods of Voodoo during  the performance of this rite.’ Now light the candles. The light  from  the  candles  should  be  the  only  light  in  the  room.  Sit  quietly for a few moments and think about what you are going  to do.    Now clap your hands three times as loud as you can; then rise  and look for a fly to kill. Then place the creature in the center  of the circle. Sit down and place the fingers of both hands on  the outer edge of the circle whilst making this call:    ‘O Almighty Mawu, my father, who demands from me a live  sacrifice, I have now placed before Thee. O Almighty Mawu,  who cannot be called down by any human sorcerer, hear this  plea  of  mine.  Come  and  find  the  spirit  of  he  whose  name  I  have  placed  between  two  candles  so  that  Thou  can  read  perfectly. Find this spirit and send it here to me so that I can  command of it whatsoever I will.    ‘Bring  it  to  me  in  the  same  manner  that  Thou  canst  bring  thunder and lightning; I call on Thee to take this spirit; I call  on Thee to force from this spirit the way in which money can  be found. Let this secret be revealed to me or rid him of his  peace forever.   ‘Make this spirit reveal to me in dreams where  I can obtain money, vast amounts of, money; make his spirit  obey  me  in  my  quest  for  money;  and  compel  his  spirit  henceforth to provide me with money.    In Thine honor I make this plea; hear it, O Great Spirit of Mawu  and make the spirit of he whose name I have written grant it 

to  me,  without  favor  from  me.  Give  me  power  over  this  departed spirit and call it forth that I make it my slave.’  Now repeat the following over and over until you are sick of  it. ‘Honey and money I need; honey and money with speed;  honey and money I plead; give me honey and money indeed.’    Now  extinguish  the  candles  with  your  own  saliva,  or  extinguish by moistening fingers and pinching out flame. Now,  those who feel at this point the slightest tinge of guilt at what  they have done, should recite the following short prayer. ‘O  Great Eternal Spirit, watch over this rite and grant unto me  peace.  Confound  my  enemies  and  forgive  the  things  I  have  done.’    You  should  refrain  from  sexual  activity  for  the  24  hours  following this ritual.    All psychologists know that the dominant thought carried in  the mind will tend to  physically realize itself. So the way  to  combat  any  illness  or  disease  is  to  think  of  the  opposite.  Instead of bewailing the fact that you are ill and telling all and  sundry about it, why not accept the thought that you can be  completely cured and healthy?    Make yourself a yellow doll and talk to it continuously about  what  you  want  in  life.  If  you  are  crippled,  talk  to  it  about  walking  and  other  activities.  Tell  it  that  you  can  do  these  things.  Never  mention  your  present  condition  or  suggest  a  cure for it. Talk to your doll as if you can already move with  perfect ease and agility.   

It also helps at night to switch off the lights and speak to your  doll by candlelight.    Tell  it  stories  about  yourself,  doing  all  the  things  you  are  unable to at the moment. These stories must be real in your  mind  as  you  speak  to  the  doll,  and  there  must  not  be  the  slightest doubt in your mind that the spirit in the doll hears  every word.    The Bible says that ‘Unless you become as little children you  cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.’ This statement contains  a  profound  psychological  truth.  In  talking  to  the  doll,  you  suspend  all  adult  cynicism  and  doubts  and  become  a  child  again. Children are very close to the world of the unseen and  to the primal source of life and being.    In order to be cured you must become a child again and return  to that primal innocence which never questioned magic and  believed all things were possible.    Of course you are not expected to behave like a child in your  day‐to‐day  life.  I  ask  only  that  you  become  as  a  child  when  speaking to your doll.    Remember, you never tell the doll that you wish to be cured;  you  never  mention  your  physical  condition;  nor  should  you  ever wonder how you will be cured. You must pretend you are  already cured and you tell the doll all the things you can do in  your perfect physical state. Build a relationship with your doll:  give  it  a  name  and  try,  if  you  can,  to  make  it  more  realistic  than  the  primitive  dolls  which  are  sufficient  for  the  other 

instructions in this book. Keep the doll out of sight when not  talking to it. Under no circumstances should you let anyone  else  handle  it,  and  never,  ever,  tell  anyone  what  you  are  doing, lest you be thought mad!    Do  not  expect  quick  results.  Patience  and  perseverance  are  required. It can take months to experience an improvement  in  your  condition  and  sometimes  longer.  You  should  not  anxiously look for improvement. Magic works its own way in  its own time.    To  many  people  what  I  have  written  may  appear  to  be  complete nonsense. To those I say, ‘It’s your privilege to think  what you will; but if you are chronically ill you will remain so,  as the price you must pay for your prejudice.’    One man, crippled for twenty years, threw away his bath chair  and walking sticks after using the yellow doll. Another cured  himself completely after a lifetime of arthritic and rheumatic  troubles.
