PENGARUH SALINITAS YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP DAYA TETAS TELUR IKAN LELE DUMBO (Clarias gariepinus) (The Effect of Salinity on the Hatching Rate of African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus)) Isriansyah 1

ABSTRACT The objectives of this experiment were to evaluate the influence of salinity and to determine effective salinity to stimulate of egg hatchability of african catfish (Clarias gariepinus). Methods of experiment were by applying various salinity level: 0; 2; 4; 6 and 8 ppt. The experiment was designed completely randomized with three replications. Broodstocks of fish used in this experiment were selected that had matured egg with the average weights of fish 0,2 – 0,3/kg body weight.
