When you do get to the month, it enables you to casually ask about the star sign as you've deduced the month and this won't seem important now. "I'm intrigued, does that make you a Taurus ora Gemini?"
By starting the sentence with "I'm intrigued" the participant will not challenge your question and will respond with their sign. It is usually best to give a small reading after being told the sign.
