INTRODUCING THE CHIEF GUEST TO THE AUDIENCE Sri. J. Satyanarayana Respected dignitaries on the dais and off-the-dais, faculty staffs, and my dear student friends – very good morning to you all. I am G. DAVID RAJU Asst. Prof., Dept. of MBA of this college It gives me great pleasure to introduce the CHIEF GUEST of this inaugural function on Retail Banking. We are honoured this morning by the presence of the honorable CHIEF GUEST Sri. J. SATYA NARAYANA, Deputy General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Vijayawada He hails from a rural agricultural family in Rajahmundry, a son of this soil, with his dedication and commitment raised to the top administrative ranks in Indian Overseas Bank. He did his masters degree in Agriculture and specialized in Genetics and Plant Breeding. He also qualified in Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) Sri J. Satyanarayana, joined in IOB in 1984 as AGRICULTURAL OFFICER He worked all over India in different capacities

Sir also worked in Vijayawada & Guntur, as Chief Manager and AGM during 2000-2008. At present, sir has been discharging his responsibilities as REGIONAL MANAGER of Vijayawada region which coveres four districts – West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasm. Vijayawada region comprises of 56 IOB branchers with total business mix of 5400 crores of which advances contribute 4100 crores.

Sri J. Satyanarayana attended various training programs during his journey as banking employee. He attended a prestigious training program on Mentoring, organised in Singapore Attended various training programs like MSME Lending etc in various countries like Singapore, Spain, France and Viatnam. Sri J. Satyanarayana also bagged so many awards and achievements like Best Branch Manager.
